Skater Boys

The curtains were harshly ripped open and Jihoon winced at the sudden brightness filling his room, angling his body he managed to hide his eyes in a shadow of a looming figure standing a few feet away from his bed. The shadow belonged to none other than Seungkwan, and that alone was bad enough because Seungkwan meant noise, and it was -throwing a weary glance towards the angry red numbers on his alarm clock- seven o'clock in the morning. However after lying there in wait with his head buried underneath his pillow for a few moments waiting for it to begin nothing happened, Jihoon warily raised himself up, wondering why the usual scream fest wasn't occurring.

However as soon as he had rolled over so that he was now facing Seungkwan he was greeted by a solid mass crashing into his chest rather painfully. Grunts sounded from both parties though it quickly turned into screams and pleads on Jihoon's end because cold fingertips ran up and down his sides and no amount of squirming made it stop.

"Fine fine! Please! I promise I'll get up! Please Seungkwan!" The pink haired boy cried as he feebly tried to protest with sluggish movements.

Seungkwan huffed but relented nonetheless. "We both know that's a lie, now come on, you have to get up! I texted Hansol that we'd meet him in the afternoon so we can only go shopping in the morning so hurry up!" With that Jihoon was up and about in record time, and honestly Seungkwan had never seen someone try to brush their teeth with one hand, and do their hair with the other all while putting jeans on with no hands.

In the end Seungkwan had finally given in and helped him out, but not by pulling his jeans up for him, or even by grabbing him the shirt that Seungkwan knew would go really well with those jeans. He helped by taking photos and putting them on his story, of which Jihoon demanded he delete them at once and when he didn't Seungkwan was mortified to discover that Jihoon had taken pictures of him while he not so discreetly slept during the car journey.

The car journey itself was fairly uneventful other than the little mugshot competition the had going on, and on the whole so was the little shopping expedition. Aside from the fact that both of the mothers kept shoving rather unorthodox clothing towards their sons with the excuse of "You have a boyfriend now! Dress to impress!"

It would have been okay, justified even, if it was perhaps a nice dress shirt, or those ripped jeans that Jihoon was learning to love because quite frankly he had fallen and hurt himself too many times while roller skating to get thighs like he had to not show them off, but no. Jihoon's mother had exclaimed with glee might he add, that "Seungcheol would love these!" while holding up a very tight pair of baby pink boxer shorts with 'bite me baby' written across the back surrounded by red puckered up kissy marks.

Although it got much worse when Seungkwan's mother held up a different pair, although they looked normal from the front at first glance. Simply plain, black boxer shorts with an elasticated black waist band and similar banding around the leg holes, but then she turned them around, to showcase the heart shaped cutout in the back. It did look cute, until they realised that the heart would reveal a good portion of their cheeks for all -well for Seungcheol and Hansol to see. "Easy access perhaps?" The woman asked rhetorically as she plucked another identical one from the shelf, but this one was in a pale blue colour. However instead of an elasticated band bordering all edges white lace took its place.

And with that Jihoon and Seungkwan had decided they didn't like how supportive their parents were anymore as they ran out of the store with flushed cheeks paired with the promise to never speak of it again. And when all four of them met up for lunch the teenagers did eye the shopping bags with suspicion but chose to ignore it when the women firstly pulled out the pairs of new skates they had both been eyeing earlier as well as a pair of ripped jeans for Jihoon and a new jacket for Seungkwan.

And with that the small packages hidden at the bottom of the bag were ignored, but not by the two middle aged women who shared a discreet smile and wink.

-

"Find anything good aside from the new skates?"

Hansol had asked that innocently enough yet Jihoon and Seungkwan immediately froze dead stiff where they stood, the smaller of the two even stumbled slightly but passed it off as stumbling on a rock beneath his wheels. Both of their faces had turned bright red and a few horribly awkward moments passed before Jihoon squeaked out a short no before stuttering out a quick "Me and Kwan are going to get ice cream, bye!"

"Holy Seungkwan that was so close! They nearly found out-"

"Found out what Jihoon? Is there something you aren't telling me, what are you hiding from us?" Seungcheol ground out as both Hansol and himself stepped dangerously close to their rather guilty looking boyfriends.

"Nothing! Nothing happened right Kwannie!?" Jihoon spluttered, his eyes flickering around the surrounding area, avoiding Seungcheol's heavy and questioning gaze because he knew that the second they locked eyes he'd instantly cave and spill everything. Throwing a glance over his shoulder he saw that Seungkwan was easily being caged against a wall by Hansol's arms as the other had a look of pure fury on his face.

So to save them both Jihoon did the only thing he could think of. He told the truth.

"Our parents tried to buy weird underwear for us -for you! Like y underwear for you to see us in!"

The silence was a thousand tonne weight pressing down on Seungkwan as Hansol stared down at him with a wicked grin plastered on his face, Seungcheol looking much the same. The arms bracketing him slid off of the wall and glided over his skin, hands settling on the dips just above his hips on either side.

"So did you buy them?"

"Yeah yeah, and what exactly did they look like? Come on you can't leave it at that we're curious now." Insisted Seungcheol who quickly followed his boyfriend who was drifting away from him and towards Seungkwan, rescuing said male from the Hansol's arms, the wheels on his skates hissing over the fine sand that lined the promenade. "Or we could just find out if you already have them on now?" He purred as he winked at Hansol, and soon the sound of their sneaker clad feet slapping the burning pavement caused heads to turn as they tore after their boyfriends.

The two boys crouched down low behind the wall that lined one side of the worn stretch of pavement. The pavement lipped over the beach on one side, about a two metre drop to the sand below, and on the other side a crumbling wall that would hopefully protect Jihoon and Seungkwan from the assault of wandering hands. It did. Until Jihoon tried to stand and ended up falling over because he wanted to go backwards to put more distance between him and his rather fiendish looking boyfriend only the wheels had spun forwards. Resulting in Jihoon landing heavily on his bum and lower back, bright laughter echoing around him that drowned out his groans of pain.

"Aw baby come here." Seungcheol cooed, hopping over the wall and bending down to help his grumbling but still adorable boyfriend stand up properly. And maybe Seungcheol took a bit more care than usual to brush the dirt off of Jihoon's thighs and bum, said male rejected Seungcheol's suggestion of kissing it better though and no amount of pouting swayed the other.

"I though roller skating was meant to be ridiculously easy anyways? You must be really bad if you fell over from standing up to quickly." Hansol observed, not noticing the looks of pure fury that were burning up the left side of his face.

"I think you've gotten skating confused with skateboarding you idiot. Roller skating is seriously difficult." Jihoon growled and even Seungcheol began backing away.

"If you think it's so easy why don't you prove it? We're regulars at the rink so we can get us all in free plus we have like four hours to kill." Seungkwan added.

Hansol and Seungcheol shared a look consisting of pure fear, however Seungcheol's contained some barely concealed irritation towards Hansol for getting them both stuck in this mess.

-

"What are you two doing here? It's perfectly sunny outside and you only come in here when it's raining, and I know the food here isn't that good." A rather portly man bellowed from behind the front desk, yet he still opened the gate for them to enter. Without paying as well.

"Oh, those two over there think skating is ridiculously easy, so we're here to watch them fall over and hopefully break a bone. The one in the SnapBack even thinks that Jihoon is crap at skating because he fell over once." Seungkwan explained as the four of them walked through, Jihoon already going on ahead to begin greeting the other employees with a wide smile. Seungkwan quickly followed suit but the other two just stood there in shock.

The inside was massive, the actual rink was mostly in darkness with bass thumping loudly, and with the amount of flashing lights and neon coloured clothing they felt like they were at a rave rather than a skating rink. The building was rectangular in shape, the large rink in the middle with what looked similar to a DJ's booth on a raised platform just behind one of the longer sides. A counter with racks of skates lined the entirety of one of the shorter sides of the building, and the other shorter side had a small cafe in the corner surrounded by tables and chairs. On both of the longer sides were booths with albeit worn but still cushioned and comfy looking seats.

"You two are going to die." The same man whispered rather darkly as Hansol and Seungcheol hurried to catch up with the other two.

"Just tell them your shoe size, actually you might want to go one size bigger though once we give you the fluffy socks." Jihoon pondered before he literally jumped over the counter, disappeared into a room at the back and came out triumphantly holding a few pairs of socks. "What? You underestimate how many blisters you will get from skating, I'm serious you need to wear these, now who wants the ones with bunnies?"

Seungcheol numbly took everything handed to him, too distracted by the fact that Jihoon was practically bounding around everywhere with a massive smile on his face. Hansol looked much the same as he gazed lovingly at Seungkwan. They were both grabbed and then dragged over to sit in a booth and urged to hurry up and in the end Jihoon and Seungkwan crumbled to the floor and begrudgingly did up the laces on their boots for them.

The second that Seungcheol stood up he was clinging to Jihoon for dear life, it's not that he couldn't even stand in them, if he was honest standing was easy, it was the fact that he couldn't walk in them at all. The second he lifted his foot up and placed it down, the simple act of taking a small step, the momentum carried his leg forwards and he ended up doing a sort of half split before falling to the floor.

"Okay, just stop for a second, you can just step forwards in them, if you really have to walk in them then you have to stomp." Jihoon paused to demonstrate, and Seungcheol couldn't help but think it adorable when Jihoon stomped back and forth. "To move forwards you have to move your feet in like a sideways L or maybe a J shape? You push your foot forwards slightly, keeping the wheels on the ground and then to actually push yourself forwards you have to push it out to the side. But you can't go forwards then dead to the left or right, it has to be curved almost." Jihoon demonstrated again, and thankfully both Hansol and Seungcheol understood. However actually doing it was proving incredibly difficult.

"It'll be harder because you're on carpet right now. But once you've moved forwards enough that your foot is actually behind you, you pick it up whilst doing the same movement with the opposite foot. But because I doubt you can do that all at the same time, try doing it slowly, and only move the other foot when the one you just moved is back to being in front of you." Seungkwan furthered, praying they understood. But all they could do for now was show them the movement over and over again.

Being as they were highly skilled and practised in skating it did feel incredibly foreign to be doing their usual effortless and fluid movements in such a slow and awkward way, and both of them itched to get on the rink considering that it was actually becoming fairly empty.

"We're gonna leave you to do that, try going back and forth for a bit across the carpet some more and hopefully you'll be a little bit better when we come back."

"Ditching us to go out and show off already? How nice of you." Hansol hissed as he moved his legs hopefully in the way he was supposed to, either way he was still sort of going forwards.

"Oi, we aren't that mean, we're gonna go and get changed and then we'll hug the rails with you for a bit till you get used to it." He huffed before linking arms with Jihoon and effortlessly gliding off and disappearing behind the shoe counter yet again.

"We have seriously underestimated this Hansol, I'm going to die if I go out there! Look at how fast everyone is moving!" Seungcheol whined, but he still continued going back and forth. He'd even found a sort of rhythm, and that if he wanted to go faster all he had to do was push his foot out to the side a little bit more diagonally that straight.

"My thighs already ache, can't we just sit down until they get back? Please! We're both not complete failures so I'm sure we'll be fine on the rink, there aren't even that many people left." It was just that the people left were obviously pros at it, Hansol's jaw nearly hit the floor when he watched a girl race around backwards while crossing her feet over in a constant figure eight motion.

His jaw, along with Seungcheol's, really did hit the floor when Jihoon and Seungkwan returned. Both wearing loose fitting white shirts on their top half, exposing delicious collarbones covered in flashes of purple and red. Their hearts swelled with pride at the thought of their boyfriends showing them off so shamelessly. However on the lower half of their body, aside the sleek, matching black skates, they wore something that Seungcheol commonly noted half of the girls in PE would wear. Booty shorts, but not quite, they were just as fitted and tight, however they came to rest at mid thigh rather than just underneath the generous swell of their asses.

Seungcheol gawked at the black material stretching over Jihoon's thick thighs and he mentally thanked the heavens that Jihoon always worn sweatpants in PE. When he voiced his thoughts to Hansol the other male wholeheartedly agreed.

"Have you two been practising? You better have -wait what Seungcheol let go!" Jihoon squeaked as he felt himself being tugged towards the other, a sharp nose nuzzling st his abdomen as arms circled his thighs.

"You're so gorgeous." Seungcheol mumbled as he tipped his head back to gaze up at Jihoon. "And I don't think I tell you that enough."

"Flattery will get you nowhere, you still have to skate." Seungkwan cut in before Jihoon caved from the affection he was being showered with. And with a gentle push from his back foot against the wall he practically floated over to Hansol, who attempted to stand and meet him half way but was still looking very unsure of his movements. "Come on, don't be afraid, the worst thing you can do is fall over trust me, and at the speed you're going you won't even skin your knees."

"You really can't be afraid to fall over, you won't be able to skate comfortably if you are." Jihoon continued with as he tugged Seungcheol to stand. He couldn't help but smile softly when Seungcheol's face became one of awe because while Seungcheol's was simply skating forwards Jihoon was effectively steering and dragging him all while skating backwards. That and he was continually cheering Seungcheol on, Hansol too when Jihoon noticed that he was finally skating a little faster. Given he was clinging to Seungkwan's hand like a life line but still, it was faster than before.

He knew that look, the look of absolute fear, because skating on the smooth and polished wood of the rink was a lot harder in some ways that the carpet. Plus with the rink you actually had people to avoid, but thankfully not the little hourly dance party thing that they did had died down.

The music still thumped in their ears but it was quieter, and the rink was once more brightly lit by actual overhead lights and not flashing ones. Seungkwan moved to stand like Jihoon was and he took both of Hansol's hands in his own. And with a not so discreet elbow to Jihoon's side they both wordlessly pushed off. Leaving Seungcheol and Hansol no other option but to cling on and follow.

Jihoon beamed with pride when Seungcheol quietly asked if he could try it by himself about an hour later, however he couldn't help but laugh when Seungcheol made a squeak of surprise when he began to skate off. "I meant like without you in front of me, you still need to be by my side, and you have to hold my hand at all times I don't like how that dude is looking at you." Seungcheol had growled but Jihoon had simply clapped and grinned because Seungcheol had skated about four meters over to him without falling and without faltering in his movements once.

Thus it became a little game of cat and mouse, although Seungcheol's movements weren't as fluid he was managing to keep up pretty well but Jihoon always made sure to stick close by when they whipped around corners. Just as he was about to say something a voice boomed over head from the speakers. "Ladies and gentlemen as we are nearing closing time we're gonna have one last party break! As usual we would like to advise that those who aren't confident with skating to please exit the rink and let the pros have some fun! We've even got the baby boys in the house, so let's give it up for Jihoon and Seungkwan!"

Seungcheol gaped and Hansol swore, whereas the 'baby boys' beamed with pride as they waved at the people cheering for them.

"I told you we were regulars, do you mind if we go and play for a bit?" Jihoon asked shyly, fingers curling in the hem of his shirt before he felt himself being spun around and shoved towards the rink.

"We'll both be watching you two, so go on, give us a show." Hansol practically ordered, but the grin wasn't there for long as suddenly the two of them sped off. Weaving in and out of eachother at an insane pace, limbs flowing like liquid as Jihoon spun Seungkwan round in the centre. But even that didn't last long because they were off yet again, Seungkwan facing forwards while Jihoon went backwards before the switched with ease over and over again.

Seungcheol felt his breath catch when Jihoon lowered himself into an almost split, his upper body twisted so that while his legs may have been splayed out so that he had one in front with only the back wheels of his skate gliding across the floor and one trailing behind he was still facing forwards. But he was quick to bounce back up to whip around the upcoming corner. Seungkwan however kept low even whilst rounding the bend, so low that when he reached an arm out his fingertips brushed across the flooring.

And just when they thought the 'baby boys' were done the song suddenly changed and the two skaters instantly perked up before they began laughing. The two of them migrated towards each other till they were both standing in the centre, Seungcheol noted that it was some Kpop girl group playing, an obnoxiously bright and bubbly melody with high pitched and repetitive lyrics. However the slightly irritating music fell on deaf ears because all Seungcheol could focus on was the way that Jihoon danced and jumped about in the middle, actually executing the dance moves to the song perfectly even while he skated around.

It was adorable to say the least, but the mood soon changed when something heavier slithered out of the speakers. A bass line that thrummed with life fell in time perfectly with his racing heart, the crude lyrics of some remixed rap song ghosted across Hansol's skin but the words weren't the cause of the goose flesh breaking out. It was the way the lights dimmed even further, the previous neon coloured strobing lights had shifted to white and blues that danced across the flooring and occasionally flashed across a body part.

But none of it could tear his focus away from how aggressive Seungkwan's movements had become -Jihoon's too but he'd leave Seungcheol to gawk over that- how with every harshly spat out line the two boys raced around even faster, their movements no longer fluid but instead they were powerful and purposely timed. Hips swaying and dipping with the chorus, rolling as the the lyrics became that much dirtier and a smirk played on Seungkwan's features. That was when Hansol became aware of the death grip he had on the railing, and the way his cheeks had coloured.

Seungcheol was looking much the same but his bottom lip was trapped between his teeth, as Jihoon had taken to bending himself over while he skated. Thighs muscles rippling under the tight fabric of his shorts and he was left wondering why they hadn't been torn in half yet, though Seungcheol would much rather year them off himself from he way Jihoon would stop actually moving his legs every now and then and just glide. Body dropping lower and lower with each dip of his hips and his arms were raised above his head, palms slapping together in beat with the song.

The crowd was cheering, the boyfriends were drooling, so Jihoon couldn't resist shifting and spinning around so he was going backwards once more. He then raced to catch up with Seungkwan and was instantly relieved when the other took notice and slowed down.

"I'm so exhausted but it was so worth it!" He yelled as the song came to a close and they did a few more laps no longer dancing but just chatting just the other more skilled people that had come to join them. A few were doing tight spins in the middle whereas others were just racing around the outside, yelling words of praise and approval as they shot past.

"I vote we just run straight home, the second we sit down they'll be all over us -wait I think we better go over there, I think Seungcheol is about to knock someone's lights out!"

The two of the veered rather sharply and didn't bother to throw apologies over their shoulders at the exclaims of surprise coming from other skaters. Jihoon was too occupied with not getting Seungcheol banned from the rink.

"You are not going to lay a hand on him if you value your life you piece of ! You will not wait for him outside, you will not hound him for his number, you will not even breathe near him, you got it?! And I sweater if you call him a wannabe stripper ever again you'll lose your front teeth." Seungcheol growled out, glad that he had already taken and handed back his skates, there's no way he'd be able to fight someone while wearing them.

"Dude Jesus Christ chill?! Who even after you? You sound like some obsessed stalker!"

"Stalker no, incredibly protective boyfriend that's gonna beat your yes. You best run while you can kid, Cheol here is known for only stopping when someone bleeds, and it's never him." Hansol warned, but he couldn't help but grin when the other male started backing away fearfully, hands held up in mock surrender before he turned and ran with his friends following closely behind.

"Seungcheol what was that for!? You can't just go around threatening people!" Jihoon exclaimed, finding it very hard to seem intimidating now that he had taken his skates off. Resulting in him both dropping a few inches and feebly trying to stand on his trembling legs. Seungcheol looked like a deer caught in the head lights, and he spoke with both a flood of colour to his cheeks and with his gaze averted elsewhere.

"He was calling you nasty names, saying he was gonna follow you until you dated him." Seungcheol mumbled, his hands toying with the cuffs of his thick jacket.

"Don't be mad Jihoon he meant no harm, well to at guy he did, but it was for good reasons!" Hansol insisted, trying to defend his best friend before Seungkwan distracted him any further.

"There's no need for you to get in trouble over me though, I would have rejected him anyways, I already have you." He stated plainly, still confused as to why Seungcheol would go to such lengths over some random guy.

"I go to such lengths because your my boyfriend, and no one gets to call you ty, or trashy, or attention seeking, and certain only no one can even joke about stalking you. Nobody gets to do anything that might hurt you or make you upset anymore, not while I'm here. I'm possessive and protective as hell over those I care about, and you take top spot."

Jihoon stood there completely dumbfounded for a few moments before he began spluttering out half formed words that even to him made no sense, half of it was an apology and have was a furious denial that Seungcheol needn't do things like that. But after stumbling over his words for what seemed like hours he just gave up.

"Kind of hate to ruin your moment but Jihoon I'm really sweaty can we go change, please? We have to be back soon anyways, come on you can your frustrations out on each other later!" Seungkwan whined as he tugged Jihoon's arm until he gave in a followed the other, his eyes still wide and his cheeks still red.

Thankfully when the four of them reunited the atmosphere was a little less awkward, and it smoothed out completely when Jihoon curled himself around Seungcheol's side after briefly rising onto tiptoe to press a quick kiss to the taller's cheek. But the grin on Seungcheol's face afterwards was what made it, it was a smile that could probably out shine the sun.

Although that wouldn't be exactly difficult. Seungkwan spat out furious curses under his breath after skipping out of the door to run away from Hansol only to run straight back in after screaming. A puddle of water now surrounding his feet.

"Incase you couldn't ing tell, it's raining." He bit out, he continued on by demanding warmth from Hansol and when the other refused to hug him Jihoon quickly stepped in. But it appeared that Seungkwan was out to get everybody because as soon as Jihoon was within arms reach of Seungkwan he was being dragged outside and into the cold rain with zero mercy.

"Both of our parents are out, we'll have to make a run for it and hope it lets up as we walk. You two can wait it out with here if you like but we have a curfew in like an hour because we need to be home before Ma goes out again, after that we can come back out but she needs to see us before she can go. Seungkwan is staying at mine again Hansol quit looking so confused."

"Why not kill two birds with one stone? You need to walk home, and want to walk you home, you'll meet up with us later so what's the point in separating? Just hide us upstairs if your parents don't want you home alone with us?" Hansol reasoned.

"It does make sense Jihoon." The two Seung's chorused.

"Fine, but you won't have any clothes to borrow."

"That eager to see me are we Jihoonie?"

The puddle that Jihoon stomped in sent water flying up and it left a dark patch going up the left side of his jeans, but it was worth it to see how flustered Jihoon had become.
