I open my eyes and feel a warm breath on my forehead. I look up and feel your lips caress the knits on my forehead.

“I told you I’ll make all the monsters go away~” you whisper softly and wrap your arms around my waist. You snuggle tighter and I fit my head safely in the crook of your neck. You smell of aftershave and laundry detergent. I burry my noise against your neck and kiss your collarbone.

“Thank you babe~” I hum against your skin and you kiss the top of my head. That is our I love you.
