Chapter Six
When You Can't Let GoDisclaimer: I don’t own Jiyong, Dara, GD, Fortune 500.
Ji-hoon stared up at the stranger standing at their front door. “Good morning, sir. How can I help you?” The man at the door didn’t answer and was just looking at him intently.
“Hey, Mister. Are you okay? Why are you looking at me like that?”, Ji-hoon asked. “I’m sorry for staring. You look like someone I know. My name is Kwon Jiyong and I’m looking for your mother”, the man answered. “She’s still sleeping, but my friend….Maya! There’s a man who wants to see my Mama”, Ji-hoon said as he saw his baby sitter Maya head to their door.
“Hello, sir. Mrs. Pyo is still sleeping but I can go and wake her up for you” the sitter said. “You can come in, mister”, his son said. “You can call me, Da…Jiyong”, GD answered. “That’s a funny name, Mr. Da-Jiyong!”, Ji-hoon laughed.
“Just Jiyong”, he countered. “You are…Ji-hoon?”
“How did you know my name? Are you a detective? Are you my uncle? How come you have never visited us before?” Ji-hoon asked. “Whoa there, tiger. Let’s go, we’re going to miss Heeyoung at the park.” Maya said. “I already woke Mrs. Pyo up so she should be out soon. Say goodbye, Ji-hoon”, she added. “Bye, Da-Jiyong!”
Maya watched their visitor’s eyes turn hazy and cloud with tears when he heard Ji-hoon’s goodbye. ‘Could he be Mr. Pyo? Come to think of it, he looks like Ji-hoon! Woot! Finally Mrs. Pyo will get her happy ending!! Okay, need to get out of here fast and speed up the reconciliation’.
As his son and his sitter left, he looked around the apartment. Although it was small, the place was very clean and the furniture looked very comfortable
