Author’s Note: I don’t own anything. I’m sorry it took so long for the update. Consider this a ‘filler’ update until I get the other chapters up and running. I promise to work double-time for the next one – real life got in the way so I am a little behind on the writing.

“Mama, up! Wade up!”, her son’s excited cries woke her up a few hours after her talk with Jiyong. ‘Jeez, all I do is cry and sleep. Wake up, Dara!’ She opened her eyes and greeted her baby boy. Dara pretended to sleep and her boy shook her harder. “Mama! Mama! Da-Jiyong, Mama wont wade up!” Ji-hoon cried at his father.

“I think we should wake her up with tickles”, Jiyong said in a stage whisper. “On the count of three: one, two..”, he counted. “Boo!”, Dara surprised her son. “Gaaaah! Mama!”, Ji-hoon pouted. “I was just kidding, baby. Mama’s up”, Dara hugged her son and rocked him back and forth.

“Da-Jiyong said we are go to zoo today! Me see lions, Mama! Lions!”, Ji-hoon said excitedly. “Ji-hoon, tell Nana to prepare your bath while Mama and I look for clothes you will wear to the park okay?” Jiyong said. “Ok!”, their son skipped out of the room in search for his new Nana.

“Ji, all decisions that pertain to MY son should go through me. I have final decision on if and when Ji-hoon will get a nanny or just a baby-sitter. You come into our lives and just take over. We’ve done okay for ourselves the past few years and I will not allow you take our freedom away from us”, Dara said. She walked towards the bathroom “We paid a high price for that freedom, Jiyong. I will fight you if you insist on taking the wheel in our lives”.

“He’s my son too! Ji-hoon’s half-mine, Dara! I’m sorry you had to experience everything you did because of me but you’re mistaken if I’ll allow you to remove me from my son’s life, or yours. This family has suffered enough, don’t you think? If that makes me a tyrant in your eyes, then so be it!” Jiyong countered angrily. “I’m not about to lose you and our boy, Dara. I’m sorry if you feel that I’m taking over your life but this is the only way I  know how to make things easier for you and protect you”, he added. Dara sighed “I know, Ji. Ji-hoon is OUR son and I’m sorry if I made you feel like you’re not part of his life. I’m not used to sharing him with someone and it will take time to get used to. Just p
