Clad in red skyscraper heels, Kiko Mizuhara stepped in her office. Her job as VP of Marketing kept her busy and their new company’s name is getting recognized for all the work they advertise. Life after her company’s buy out is starting to pick up for the better. With the sale of their shares, they received a hefty amount that allowed them to setup a smaller company focused on marketing and advertising back in Japan. The KM Agency now has high profile clients and Kiko made sure she was visible during soirees to gain new contacts and solidify ties with current ones.
“Madam, this came via priority mail earlier today”, Kiko’s secretary handed her a black envelope. “It seems there’s a new oil company in town and they’re looking to introduce it to the Korean public and the press in one grand event”, Kiko said. She checked her calendar and saw that it coincided with the launch of her favorite magazine’s new IT girl. “Such a hardship, picking from these two events. I need to network and make sure all my connections are still happy with the firm”, she said. “Yura, please send a bouquet of flowers to the magazine on behalf of the company. I have an oil tycoon to woo”. Kiko stared at her calendar and started to make plans on what she’s going to wear. ‘It has to be something y but not too revealing. Something that will catch everyone’s attention and in turn, attention for the firm. Who knows, maybe I’ll turn Jiyong’s eye for once.’ She smiled.
Two days later
It’s been three hours and she hasn’t found the perfect dress yet. Kiko didn’t like any of the other gowns she had at home. She’s either worn them or didn’t like the way it draped and showcased her body. ‘Ugh.
