Diamond Life | Limited Slots for Requests | Read last chapter.Seungkwan has been your best friend for as long as you can remember. He was basically family to you. Yet when he graduated from high school and entered college, he transformed to a whole other person in your eyes. He also started treating you differently.
" you , are you ready?" He yelled through the hallway.
The two of you made sure to go out at least once a week together.
"Almost," you yelled back
"Is that your best friend?" Your roommate asked
"Yeah,"
"He sure puts in a lot of effort for you," she commented
"It's nothing to him. It's natural already," you told her
"I don't believe the opposite can remain just friends forever,"
"What?"
"Wait. That came out wrong. What I really wanted to say is that, it is inevitable that one of you will fall for the other. Or maybe both of you will fall for each other."
You didn't reply to her. You didn't need her to tell you that because you could already feel that it was you slowly falling for Seungkwan.
You inhaled deeply and exhaled loudly before opening the door.
"Goodluck," your roommate told you
"Took you long enough," Seungkwan glanced up at you.
He was sitting down near the staircase. You walked towards that area.
"Says the one who takes longer to get ready," you bantered
"I'm high maintenance," he replied
"I know," you ruffled his hair
"Hey!" He grabbed your hand.
He didn't let go until he was standing up.
"That took me a good ten minutes to fix this hairstyle," he said
"Well, I think you look better without you fixing up yourself,"
"My natural look?"
"Isn't that the best kind?" You asked him.
He stayed quiet. Even though Seungkwan gained more confidence since college, he still had insecurities. It worried you how a guy like him could think so low of himself.
"You're thinking too much again, boo," you clung to his arm.
You let go of him almost immediately as you felt him flinch for the first time.
