Woolim is short, coming in at only 158 cm and weighing 43 kg. She has a round face and big eyes accompanied by dark hair, that she's never dyed. Woolim was always told she was pretty, often being called a doll, so she never had much doubt in her looks. people tend to think that she's taller than she is becuase of her body proportions, the often tend to be surpirsed at how short she actually is. She has three holes pierced, along with two cartilage on her left ear and one on her right. When the group get their first win on a music show, Woolim gets a small crescent moon tattoo behind her right ear, and later on she gets her debut date on the side of her left hand.

Woolim loves to wear shorts, a lot of times you'll see her in shorts (it doesn't matter if it's fall or summer she will wear shorts, except in winter that's too cold), what can she say, she just likes her legs. Most of her wardrobe consists of tee shirts and some sort of jeans with sneakers. She owns almost no heels, even if they will make her taller, she just can't deal with it (she thinks that she will break an ankle in them). She honestly wants to die when SM puts her in heels to preform. Woolim likes to stay comfy at all times and anything that makes her the slightest bit uncomfortable, she wears it to a minimum.

Background: Woolim was born on August 17, 1995 in Busan, South Korea, where she lived for almost her entire life. As a child, Woolim was always very active and hyper so her parents put her in dance classes so she'd get some of her energy out each day. This is where Woolim fell in love with dancing and met her best friend, Yoojin. Even after her dance classes, her parents would always her her in her room dancing to whatever song was on at the time. It didn't take her long to start learning the dances she would see kpop idols do on T.V. and when she started learning those, she decided that she wanted to be an idol one day. Woolim auditioned for SM Entertainment three times before they finally accepted her, but she knew she didn't want to go anywhere else than SM since she wanted to be under the same company as SHINee, Super Junior, and TVXQ, her favorite groups.

Trainee years: 10 years
Trainee life: Woolim became a trainee in 2008. At first everything was hard. In dance she'd be used as an example for her excellent skills and in singing she's be ridiculed by the instructors for her terrible singing voice. As time went of she made many friends, which helped her with her skills and she improved. Woolim was quick to make friends, but she slowly watched all of them move on and debut without her, until it was only her a Johnny left. She comforted Johnny when he failed to debut in EXO and he did the same after she was cut from the final line up of Red Velvet, SM saying she didn't fit the group's red concepts. When Woolim heard of Blue Moon and the way SM was picking the girls, she knew she had to get into the group, it was her last shot, so when she failed to be the first girl to debut, she thought she was done for, but then she won the second debut spot and finally debuted.

this came out before the two even started dating. The two of them had been super cloe and many fans were quick to think that they were dating. SM denied the rumors for a while, but when they actually started ot date a few years later, they came out as a couple pretty quickly.

From the time they were introduced in sm rookies, the fans shipped them. in every video where they were in it together there woere tons of comments, but woolim never fully looked at those. Hello, I'm blue moon's tiny leader Woolim!
how do you feel about blue moon's concept?
I love the concept of our group, I think it let's every member have a chance to shine and show thier true capablities!
what made you want to become an idol?
when i was little I started to learn teh dances for popular groups at the time and I think that that really pushed me to be an idol.
who is your biggest inspiration?
My biggest insperation, and it might sound super cheesy, is propably NCT's Johnny. Me and Johnny joined the comapny at the same time and trainned together for years and through that time he always psuehd me harder and taught me to never give up, so I'd say he inspired me a lot.
what do you hope blue moon accomplishes over your career?
I want blue moon to be a group that people can reconginze from just hearing a song. I want us to make a difference for people and have a sound that people can look at and tell is ours.
