erin moves forward with determination and greets the camera. "hey everyone! I'm erin, blue moon's wildcard" erin pulls out a bunch of cards in thin air at the mention of 'wildcard' and flicks the cards in the air. there is a short rain of cards as she goes for a big bow and disappears from the frame. when the camera pans out she is caught defeatedly picking up the cards on the ground which makes the production staff laugh. "this is a choice. i'm committing to it" she sulks.
how do you feel about blue moon's concept?
"we live in a time where new idol groups come left and right. you just really have to stand out and it's a challenge that blue moon has taken to heart. we're introducing ourselves one by one with a solo song so that everyone gets to showcase their individuality and what they have to offer to which i think is important in a group. every girl is an important figure and each girl contributes that unique color to the group that proves blue moon a one of it's kind. the seven girls only come together once in a blue moon and Blue moon will be the culmination of all that character and talent."
what made you want to become an idol?
"to be perfectly honest, as a child i always thought i would wound up as a doctor because i grew up surrounded by them. singing and all that jazz were nothing but after school hobbies for me. i was a theatre kid and i got scouted primarily for theatre acting but i got transferred to idol training because the management saw something in me. i didn't know what it was until i was deep into idol training. it's where i've met the most passionate people and maybe some of those passion rubbed off on me along the way. it is during that time of idol training i was the happiest, i mean i wasn't particularly the best trainee of our batch but despite of all the blood, sweat and tears shed i saw myself smiling at the end of the day. for once i never felt anything like that while i was studying. idol training brought out the best in me and i believe it's a continuing process. i'd love to see how far the idol journey takes me."
who is your biggest inspiration?
"i'd say my number one will always be my mom. she's a strong woman who raised me all by herself before she met my step dad. second would be my SNSD sunbaes because they were quintessential of what was "girl power" for me. they really spoke to a generation of young girls and they will always be legendary icons to me. Lastly I would like to make a big shout out to taemin sunbae. he's the ultimate all around performer and i could only wish i reach even just half the level of the performer he is.. he's just absolutely amazing."
what do you hope blue moon accomplishes over your career?
"it is a goal ofmine to have our songs reach an audience that would form a connection with us. for blue moon, the songs that we make are not for the sake of pleasing the general public; our songs are love letters for everybody be it what the society considers the eccentrics. awards, chart toppers and popularity.. i know it may ound cheesy but they're all secondary achievements compared to making songs that people would proudly admit to as the soundtrack of their life."

hi caroline! first of all i'd like to say thank you for granting me an extension and also for being the mind behind the conception of this story. i haven't really been on aff for awhile but when i stumbled upon your story it just brought back my love for apply fics. please excuse my writing i've been inactive for years and i don't know if med school just kills your creativity by default. so here's erin. hope you don't mind the loooong background i just really had to slip a bit of myself in there to draw inspiration but other than That we're nothing alike she's molded as a character i'd wanna be friends with. also i hope you don't mind the way i've imagined how erin and woolim's Relationship would be like. I kind of see the group forming into smaller inner circles during the early stages of the group and i think that the eldest would just naturally be drawn to each other.

- not particularly a scene, but erin's intro "wildcard" is based on the selection of blue moon members. erin is the last to get picked. it would be awesome if you can make that canon.
- the girls having a mini team building Moment in their dorm. at the end of the activities they lay forming a circle on their living room floor and start breaking down walls. secrets, issues with members and previous tensions are discussed and it all ends to a lighthearted discussion of romance. i'd love to read about the girls' opinion on the other members' love interests. for erin's case i think it would be fun if the girls root for jungwoo and make subtle hints of how younger is better... it's one of the few rare moments erin would despise her members. they have the audacity to think she'll be all about that "cougar" life.
