Elaboration.
Calm : Chaehee is not someone to lose her temper easily. Even if she is raging inside, she won't say a word.

Caring : Though you'll probably never hear her say "I love you" out loud, Chaehee cares for her loved ones, but in small ways like making sure they've brushed their teeth, eaten their meals or wishing them good luck before important things, and scolding them when they are reckless.

Passionate : Chaehee gives her all in performing as it's been her dream for a long time. She thinks performing isn't something to be taken lightly, and makes sure to get everything right during every performance.

Responsible : Chaehee makes sure to look out for her members and keep them out of trouble. She keeps the promises she makes, and even if her heart is no longer set on something, she commits to it.

Cold-hearted : Though Chaehee cares for her members, she doesn't mind hurting them when she feels it necessary. Other than her members, she generally doesn't care about the well-being of others. background. Chaehee was born to a pair of upper middle class parents who were crazy over status, and believed that if Chaehee was a child prodigy, they could one-up their neighbours. Since the age of five, Chaehee was sent for piano and ballet lessons. At her young age, she enjoyed them, and put all her effort into them.

When Chaehee started elementary school, she was sent to tuition classes in addition to normal schooling, alongside her piano and ballet lessons. With how hard she had to work to get good grades in school, Chaehee no longer found joy in piano and ballet. She asked her parents if she could stop taking the piano and ballet lessons, but they insisted for her to continue, saying those skills which would help her get ahead of others in the future. They were partially right, as at the age of 10, Chaehee was scouted by a spotter for Cube Entertainment at one of her ballet lessons.

Chaehee trained at Cube Entertainment for many years, but never managed to debut and decided to leave for another company. In 2016, she started training at SM Entertainment, and became a member of the girl group Blue Moon in 2018.

trainee life.

Chaehee started training at Cube Entertainment at the young age of 10. She wasn't really happy or upset, but she did enjoy dancing and singing much more now that she was doing it for herself and not her parents. In 2007, an older girl called Hyuna joined Cube Entertainment and started training alongside Chaehee and the other female trainees at that time. Not long later, Hyuna was chosen to be a member of 4Minute, which Chaehee thought was because the latter had worked really hard. Though Chaehee was slightly upset she wasn't chosen, she thought she would get chosen the next time.

It wasn't until 2014, however, that Cube decided to debut another girl group, which Chaehee was not chosen for. It was also around that time that Cube had increasingly started promoting Hyuna as a soloist rather than promoting 4Minute, and Hyuna's MVs started getting raunchier. This annoyed Chaehee, who previously admired Hyuna's hard work and passion for performing, but now to her it seemed that Hyuna just wanted attention, wanting people to look at her and talk about her, even if they were saying bad things. As the days passed, Chaehee became increasingly annoyed having to see Hyuna, even having to be in the same building as her, to breathe the same air as her. This, and the fact that two trainees with much less experience than her were added to CLC, drove her to leave Cube Entertainment in 2016.

Chaehee decided, however, that she was not going to let her 10 years of training go to waste and decided to audition for other companies. Hopefully another company wouldn't sleep on her. She was eventually accepted to SM Entertainment in mid 2016. At SM, Chaehee did not care to make friends. If people liked her then great, if they didn't so be it. All she wanted was to debut as fast as possible, and she regretted wasting her youth training in a company that never noticed her talent. Finally, Chaehee became the sixth member of Blue Moon, but not before Cube debuted G Idle, which still irks her to this day.
