Kwiok is 160 cm tall on a good day. She weighs 40 kg so she is a small thing. Her skin is very pale and she has an almost gaunt look about her. She keeps her long black hair tied back out of her face. She has a soft, gentle look about her

Kwiok doesn't really have a style. She wears what she can because its what she is given. Most of her clothes are hand me downs and a bit rough for wear. She doesn't have any fancy clothes, just grubby everyday clothes

Elaboration: Kwiok is a soft, kind person that you just want to wrap up in a blanket and protect from the harshness of this world. She has been through a lot but she is still a kind person who makes sure everyone else is ok before herself. She is always there for people when they need her, regardless of the situation. She is quiet and soft, often gets a blush when people compliment her and she just radiates the feminity that isn't around much anymore. She almost seems to float when she walks because of her grace. She cant see someone who is upset and not try to do something about it, there is always a way to make someone smile and Kiwok will find it
Kiwok isn't quick to trust. She has been through a lot so while she will sit down and listen to you she won't jump on the trusting bandwagon just quite yet. She doesn't radiate self-confidence in anything she does, she has that talent to get her places but she doesn't believe in herself, because of that she is almost shy to show her talents when she isn't at SM. She has a setup of how things are supposed to go and they have to go that way. If she can't get things done right she will stay until she can, it will drive her insane if she can't nail it. 
Kiwok has a problem with this society. It is horrible for those who can't protect themselves and it treats women like second rate citizens. She has always been against things like that and she intends to use her platform to try to change the way people are treated. 


Background: Bukcheol girls home is an awkwardly shaped building that houses too many girls for the space it has. The yard behind the building is cramped and usually filled with random things like a rusted wheelbarrow and twelve bikes lying around. There hasn't been any grass or plants there in years. 
Chae Kwiok was left at Bukcheol when she was three. She has just enough memories of her mother to remember her face but that is it, no name and she doesn't even know if her family name is Chae. She never got a reason as to why she was left there either. 
As a young girl Kwiok was often left to do many chores around the home, all the girls were. The woman who ran it would often lock herself in her room and only come out to eat. The girls were left to fend for themselves and Kiwok quickly took the role of mom.
She learned to cook and how to bandage injuries. She read to the younger girls and made sure everyone got to school on time. She would often be late for school, even when she was in primary school. That didn't stop her from getting good grades. She has always been an excellent student. 
For as long as she can remember, Kiwok has wanted to sing. She was always singing around the house while cleaning and on the way to school with the girls. She likes to say her mother must have been a singer too, that how she got the passion. 
When she was fifteen she auditioned with SM Entertainment and was denied. She was crushed but the other girls convinced her to try again. She did and was accepted in 2010

Trainee years: 9 years
Trainee life: When Kiwok started training she actually stopped going to school. She stilled lived at Bukcheol and the woman running it didn't even notice. She would get the girls to school, go train, pick them up from school, make dinner and go back to train. Her life was a train of activities and she usually got three to four hours of sleep per night. 
After training for a few months Kiwok went back to her school. She asked if she could try to catch up and the school let her. She started going to school for part of the day and training the rest. She refused to give up on the girls. 
Once Kiwok graduated things got difficult. She was old enough that the woman stopped getting funding to keep Kiwok at Bukcheol so she had to find somewhere else to live. One of the other older girls promised she would take care of the girls and that Kiwok needed to find somewhere else, to move on and debut. It was difficult but she did. 
She moved into the dorms and found a job at the coffee shop at SM. She hardly ever went home, when she wasn't training she was working and she often would pick up shifts when someone wanted to drop theirs. She would shower and catch a quick nap here and there while still at SM. There would be days when she didn't go home. 
Last year Kiwok had a moment of panic. She realized how she was one of the oldest trainees and trainees years younger than she were debuting. She missed a day of training but after that she was back. She decided she would stay for at least another year before evaluating her life choices. She would figure out what to do then but not worry about it now. 
Kwiok was called into a meeting room early one day and she was worried she was going to be asked to leave, that they realized how old she was as well. She almost didn't go and was prepared to just leave but she couldn't. She did go in and there were four other trainees, two staff and the chairman. She sat and waited. Two more girls came in and the chairman told them they were going to debut as a new girl group. He said it so abruptly it took a few moments to process what he actually said. When it did though Kiwok was smiling so much her face hurt but she could wipe the look off her face.

I think its really interesting. I hope that in the future each month will still be dedicated to each girl, like in February Woolim will get a solo or she will have the spotlight

I...I... I don't really know. I've always wanted to sing and it just kinda made sense that I would become an idol. 

I really look up to f(x)'s Amber. It really is an honor to be in the same company as her and it would be amazing if I could do something with her in the future. 

I hope that Blue Moon can somehow help people, not just get big and famous but that wouldnt be a bad thing. I hope that, even if its just one person, that we can do something for anyone who is hurting.
