Foreword

In a leather jacket and ripped jeans, Go MiNam sat reading a book at a café. Every so often, a group of girls would see him and whisper, but he ignored them and continued to wait. When Go MiNyu joined him, he put the book aside and looked up to see a face similar to his looking back at him. Despite her rather feminine attire, she still held a boyish charm she hadn’t managed to get rid of since she pretended to be him to join A.N.Jell. He’d missed her and felt her frustration, but he wasn’t too sure on how to proceed now that they saw more of each other.

MiNyu broke the ice and stated, “I am dating Hwang TaeKyung now.”

MiNam nodded, “I know.”

“Are you dating Yoo HeYi?” MiNyu asked carefully.

MiNam shrugged, “I wonder if we are dating.”

MiNyu swallowed and then stated, “I’m going to continue teaching, but I want to find the rest of our family. Regardless of how long it takes,” she added.

MiNam looked at her and then asked, “Do you want me to help?”

“Yes, but there isn’t much we can do until we find someone who knew our parents.” MiNyu sighed and then asked, “I was thinking, what do you think about making a song based on looking for someone so that we can find a connection? But not just any song; a song that Lee SoJin has played?”

MiNam frowned and then sat up, “You mean to ask Mo HwaRan for a connection?”

MiNyu nodded, “I think it’s possible and our best chance. If they have family still in music, then we should be able to reach them in that way.” MiNyu reached into her wallet and pulled out the photo of their father with the two of them. “We know we can’t really use his music, but maybe our mother has some we might be able to reference?”

MiNam frowned, “I thought Mo HwaRan gave you a CD with her past works?”

MiNyu nodded, “Yes, maybe we can remake some of those. I can ask Hyung-nim.”

At that, MiNam smiled and asked, “Shouldn’t you just call him Oppa, now?”

MiNyu blushed and her brother smiled. Breaking the wall of awkwardness was difficult for them and they often remained proper, which was both painful to experience and watch. MiNam knew he had to help her, but wasn’t too sure on how to.
