I was walking around the playground and all of a sudden this bully named Joan tripped me. I fell down and felt the sharp contact of the black top against my knees. Then out of nowhere I heard someone talking to the bully. "Hey Joan! Do you think it's really cool to hurt an eight year old girl?"The person said. I looked up and Joan was cowering a bit. "S-sorry. It won't happen again."he said before running off. I watched after him until a hand appeared in front of my face. I looked up and saw a boy around eleven years old. He smiled charmingly at me and slowly I took his hand. He helped me up but the next thing I knew he was carrying me. I was getting shy and sort of hid my face in his shoulder as he carried me to the nurse's office. "Your knees are scraped up pretty bad. I didn't want you to walk."He said. I nodded and then he knocked on the door. The nurse opened the door and motioned for us to come in. The boy set me down on the examination table and the nurse started cleaning my scrapes. I bit my lip to keep in my pain. The boy held my hand telling me that it's okay. I started to squeeze his hand. "She's almost done"He said softly. I nodded, then felt the band aids go on. The nurse smiled and handed me a lollipop. "You were so good at keeping in your pain."She said smiling. I gratefully took to lollipop and smiled sweetly. "Thank you."I said softly. The nurse nodded. "You're welcome. And try not to put too much pressure on either of your legs."She said. I nodded and was about to hop off the table but the boy picked me up again. "Thank you again."he said to the nurse. She smiled and he carried me out of the nurse's office. "T-thank you"I stuttered out to the boy. He smiled at me. "No problem."He said. I started playing with the lollipop awkwardly. The silence was killing me a bit. "What's your name?"I blurted out. The boy chuckled a bit. "I'm Wonwoo, and you are?"He asked. I smiled at
