Jungkook’s POV 

Biology class, boring as always. I looked out the window and stared at the view instead. I’ve always hate this class. Don’t get me wrong, the subject itself is alright, it’s just the teacher and everything else. Plus, Mari isn’t here too. I felt something vibrate on my pocket, I took my phone out sneakily and saw a text popped up. 

BigHit Entertainment: Congratulations Jeon Jungkook! You’ll be leaving in 2 days for your official training. We’ll send you a van to pick you up, be sure to pack your belongings. 

2 days?! are you kidding me? it’s too soon. “Mr. Jeon, do yo have something to tell us?” said Mr. Han. “W-well not really sir” I stuttered. He walked towards me and snatched my phone from my hands. He looked at me and read the text out loud. Mari’s POV 

“AAAAH FINALLY IT’S LUNCH TIME” I cheered mentally. “Mari-aaah, let’s go eat” said Yerin with her arms around my shoulders. We skipped along and went to the cafeteria. “Ya ya ya ya, have you heard Jungkook is leaving in 2 days?” I overheard one of my classmate’s conversation. 2 DAYS?! 

I searched for Jungkook, trying not to panic, trying not to cry. I left the cafeteria and went outside to the basketball court, and there he is alone. Shooting some hoops. “Yah!” I shouted. He stopped dribbling and looked my way. “You’re leaving so soon” I said approaching him. “Y-you heard?” He asked. “The news travels fast here” I chuckled, stealing the ball from him. “L-look Mari, I was going to tell you first but..” he explained. “It doesn’t matter, what matter is that you’re leaving” I shoot, and it went in. “Yeah” he said picking up the bouncing ball. “Are, are you going to be okay?” he asked. “Jungkook-ah, you don’t have to worry about me, I know you wanted to be a star years ago. I still remember a little 7 year old you wishing to become one someday, and finally your time has come.
