“Ah!” Jasmine screamed after finishing the yogurt.

“Wae??” Heechul rushed to the kitchen where Jasmine is.

“Make a wish! Make a wish Master!” she said grabbing Heechul’s hand.

“Are you still insisting on that?! We already made up and you’re starting to make me mad again?? You’re unbelievable!” Heechul jerked Jasmine’s hand and walked away from the kitchen.

“But Master! This time I’ll make sure that it’ll work! Trust me!” She followed her master to his bedroom.

“Yah! I don’t want to waste another wish for this nonsense!” He growled at the girl in front of him.

“But I’m not a product of Jasmine’s magic.” Heebum butted in.

“Wha--?” Heechul looked at the cat and then at Jasmine.

“He’s... He’s my guardian.” Jasmine confessed.

“Hah! Hahahahaha!!! That’s good then!” Heechul chuckled, and continued “Then I still have three wishes to use if an emergency happens. Not during this time. So stop bothering me!”

“Please... Please... Heechul-sshi...” Heechul felt uneasy when he heard Jasmine say his name for the first time.

That’s unusual. She just mentioned my name. Heechul rubbed his chest.

“Okay, okay. But make sure that this time; my wish won’t be a waste.”

“Yay~! Yes Master! I won’t disappoint you.”

“Then, make it snow.”

“Snow?”

“Yes.”

“You’ll be happy when it snowed tonight?”

“Yes, yes. I’ll be very happy if it snowed tonight. Its summer time so it’ll be very refreshing if there will be a cold breeze tonight.” Heechul explained. It really is a hot night in Seoul. Summer has just begun and it’ll be a good way to test Jasmine’s magical powers.

“Well then. Let’s go outside.” Jasmine lead Heechul to the park near his apartment.

“There. Stand right there.” Jasmine stepped back a bit and raised her arms, palms facing the night sky.

After a little while, Heechul felt something cold on his nose. He touched it and it was wet. He looked up and saw that it’s snowing. Snow crystals are dropping from the sky. He looked at Jasmine, she seemed a little exhausted and was catching her breath but nevertheless, she’s smiling widely.

“You--- YOU DID IT!” Heechul exclaimed. “You really made it snow! Awesome!”

“Look! It’s snowing!” the two heard a voice which startled them.

“Shoot! Let’s go!” Heechul grabbed Jasmine’s hand and run back to his apartment. As soon as he closed the door behind them, he started to laugh.

“You’re really awesome! Now THAT’S what I call MAGIC!”

“You really liked it?” Jasmine is smiling, showing her dimples that looks like cat whiskers.

“You bet!”

“Thank goodness.” Jasmine let out a sigh. It made her feel proud that her Master finally acknowledged her magic. For a genie whose powers were locked up somewhere, being praised by her master makes her really happy.

“But tell me. How did you do it? I mean, just yesterday your magic powers . Then all of a sudden you were so great back there.” Heechul asked, his amazement is still evident to the way he spoke.

“Um... Because of that.” Jasmine pointed at the empty can of strawberry yogurt.

“The yogurt?” Heechul asked in a confused tone.

“Um.” Jasmine nodded. “Strawberry yogurt strengthens my magic. Well... All genies have their source of magic, and mine is...”

“From a strawberry yogurt?” Heechul tried to in what Jasmine is saying. He still can’t believe that this is really happening to him. Just a few months ago he does not believe in genies, magic lamps, wishes, and more over, to a talking cat. And now, he’s actually listening to a girl, a genie in particular, that strawberry yogurt strengthens her magic.

“Okay, okay. Stop right there.” Heechul halted Jasmine from talking.

“Tell me. Tell me your real story. I mean, where is your lamp? Why does your magic a little off? Also, why do you need a guardian?”

By that, Jasmine told Heehcul her story. She told him that her full powers where locked up somewhere by their Queen as a punishment. That she also have no idea where her real lamp is. That Heebum became her guardian after the incident 3 years ago.

“Wait. What incident? Tell me. I said tell me EVERYTHING.” Heechul demanded.

Jasmine heaved a sigh, “Alright. Remember when I told you that if you wished something which involves someone’s feelings, I’ll have to erase your memories of me, like we didn’t even meet?”

Heechul nodded, listening attentively.

“Uhm... Well...my last Master wished something similar to that. He... Ani... We fell in love.”

“Oh---“ was the only word that escaped from Heechul’s mouth. How can he react to that? His genie just revealed that she fell in love with her previous master. He can see in Jasmine’s eyes the regret. Regret of having to erase her master’s memory. The memory of the person she loves.

“OH WAIT! You said that you can’t remember who your previous master was?”

“I... I remembered it a few days ago...” Heechul mouthed an ‘ah...’
