It’s a busy day at Titel Advertising Company. The filming set for the cellphone company that was Heechul’s big break. He’s in-charge and he’s been busy since 4 in the morning. It’s obviously a stressful day for him but he’s still giving his best shot.

“Heechul-sshi! Come here for a minute.” The director called. Heechul went to where the director is. He’s looking at the small monitor reviewing the last shot that they took.

“What do you think?” the director asked.

“It’s pretty good. The lighting’s not too bright or too dim. It perfectly fits the concept.” The director nodded in approval.

“Good work Heechul-sshi.” The director tapped Heechul’s shoulder and offered his hand for a handshake which Heechul accepted with a satisfied grin on his face.

“Okay guys, we’ll start to wrap up! Good work everyone!” Heechul clapped followed by greetings of acknowledgment of a good work done from his staff and the rest of the crew.

“Kim Heechul-sshi.” He turned to look who called him.

“Cho Kyuhyun.” Heechul said under his breath.

The guy walked over him. “Good work.” He said, maintaining the cold aura.

“Thanks.” Heechul answered. His eyes shifted from Kyuhyun to the girl behind.

“Minyoung!” Heechul went to the girl with a sweet smile on her face.

“Congratulations Chulie.” Heechul hugged his best friend tight and said his thanks for coming to show her support to him. Kyuhyun just watched the two wondering how come they’re too close. He doesn’t know that Heechul and Minyoung are friends. He doesn’t really paid attention on the relationship between his staffs. He left the two without saying a word.

“Hey Chulie. I’m a bit disappointed in you.” Minyoung playfully glared her best friend as she pulled out from his embrace.

The guy looked at Minyoung with confused eyes. Not getting what she’s saying he asked why she’s disappointed in him.

“Aish. You don’t know what day it is?” Heechul stared at her with ‘I’m-sorry-I-don’t-get-it’ look. “It’s my birthday you idiot!” Minyoung hit Heechul’s arm and pouted.

“OH SHOOT! I’m screwed!” Heechul thought but forced a smile. “Of course I know when your birthday is!” He shot back.

“Oh really now?” Minyoung put her hands on her waist and eyed Heechul.

“YES! In fact I was just about to ask you out for dinner.” Of course he’s lying. He just wants to get out of this situation soon.

“Jasmine-ah! I need you!” He thought, holding his cellphone in his pocket. “I’ll just go to the rest room then we’ll leave okay?” He excused himself and dashed to the rest room as soon as Minyoung replied with a nod.

He hurriedly dialled his home number. Four rings but no one is picking the phone and Heechul is getting grumpy. “Aish! Where are you?!” He hissed then the phone got picked up. “It’s about time! Yah!” He said as soon as he heard the person from the other line said ‘Hello’.

“Kim Heechul-sshi.”

“Heebum-ah! Where’s Jasmine?” Heebum didn’t answer back but Heechul heard him call Jasmine and handed her the phone.

“Yes Master?”

“I need your help. I’ll be giving my second wish tonight.”

“Yes! I’m ready Master!”

“So here’s my wish...”

After the call, Heechul came back to Minyoung. “Let’s go?”

“Whati Chulie. What’s wrong?” Minyoung asked, stopping as Heechul is pulling her outside the studio.

“Hm? Nothing. Let’s go!”

“Where are we?” The two arrived to where Heechul’s ‘surprise’ is. The place is dark so Minyoung gripped arm tighter which made Heechul grinned to himself. He didn’t answer Minyoung’s question and just continued to walk. The he slowly removed his arm to Minyoung’s grip.

“Wha-! Chulie!” Minyoung protested but Heechul is already walked away.

“Where are you Chulie?!” Minyoung screamed. After a few minutes, the place started to light up. They’re in a park. There are lights dangling on the trees and the pathway is also lighted with small battery operated candles. Heechul is standing a few steps away from Minyoung holding a bouquet of red roses with white tulips.

“Happy Birthday Minyoung!” He greeted and Minyoung slowly walked towards him but was halted when she notices petals on the ground. She looked up and saw red petals of roses falling from the sky. She then diverted her gaze towards Heechul, looking so shocked; she still managed to ask, “How?”

“It’s a secret.” Heechul chuckled.

“Oh my God! Heechul! This is awesome! Thank you!” Minyoung ran towards Heechul and hugged him.

As the two are enjoying themselves, Jasmine is watching not far away.

“Minyoung-sshi is lucky to have Master.” She thought, a small smile forming in her lips. “His second wish is for Minyoung-sshi. Only...”

“One wish left.” Like Heebum read her thoughts, he finished her sentence. She glanced at him then returned her gaze to the two figure hugging. “Yes. One wish left.”

“And that last wish will also be the last time I’ll see Master Heechul.”  Jasmine thought; a hint of sadness in her eyes. It’s been over a year since she became Heechul’s genie.

“That last wish will determine whether you’ll be able to find true happiness.” Heebum thought while looking at Jasmine.
