Jasmine’s POV

“Yah! Tell that cat to stop bothering me! He’s making me crazy with his comments about everything I do!” My master said over the phone.

“I’m sorry...” I whispered.”

“You should be! My first wish is a failure! Your magic is a failure!”

That does it! I snapped. “Yah! You’re so full of yourself! You’re a heartless master! I gave you what you want and you tell me that! Nappeun namja! (bad guy).” I threw the phone to the sofa.

“Aish! Do I really deserve this??!! AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!” I’m hugging my legs while seated on the floor.

“Jasmine-ah.” I looked up and saw Heebum staring at me. “My apologies.” He continued.

I shook my head. “It’s okay. It’s not your fault... I asked you to come here.” I brushed Heebum’s fur.

“I think you better tell Heechul-sshi that I’m not a product of your magic. Since your full powers are still locked up. Also... Are you sure you still can’t remember your previous master?”

I stared at him. He’s right. My full powers are still locked up somewhere. Since the day that I was punished by the Queen, I don’t know where she locked up the 70% of my powers. Also... I remembered who my previous master was.

“I think you’re right. I better tell him that later. Thanks Heebum.” I smiled and hugged the cat in front of me. “Ah... as for your question... I... I think I remembered him already.”

Then Heebum nodded.

3^rd Person POV

Heechul is in the middle of a presentation. Their client for today is a cellphone company.

“The proposed budget for this project is 500,000 dollars.”

“Excuse me Heechul-sshi. Don’t you think that’s a little expensive for a television commercial?” one of the officers said.

“But sir, the initial commercial will run for 3 mins. It is like we’re showing a full-length MV. Besides, our endorser will be SNSD.” Heechul explained. Everyone murmured. Then their client whispered something to Kyuhyun who is the head of their department.

He placed his pen on the table and looked at Heechul before he spoke. “It seems that our client here agrees to your proposal.” Their client nodded, and then he continued. “That means you’ll be in-charge of this project. I expect that you won’t disappoint our client. Congratulations.”

Heechul is dumbfounded. This is beyond his expectations. Aside from the fact that his proposal got accepted, he also heard Kyuhyun congratulated him. “Kamsahamnida!”

It was already 10 in the evening when Heechul left his office. “Ugh. So tired.” He said, lightly punching his back and stretching his neck. “I finished late, I wonder what Jasmine and that talking cat is doing to my house right now. They better took care of my house while I’m gone.” He said with a hiss,

“Chulie!” He turned around and saw Minyoung walking towards him.

“Minyoung.” He tried to hide his smile and became a smirk.

“Going home?” Minyoung asked in which Heechul answered with a nod. “Let’s go home together.” With that, Minyoung held Heechul’s hand and dragged him out of the building.

“Hey. Congratulations on your first big project.” Minyoung smiled.

“Thank you.”

“You know...”

“Oh shoot! I have to go!” Heechul shrugged Minyoung’s hold on his arm.

“Why? What’s the hurry about??”

“Ah--- I... Eomma’s waiting for me... Right. Eomma.” If I don’t hurry who knows what those two will do to my house. Heechul thought of the genie and talking cat at his house.

“Auntie? Then I can go with you to greet her.” Minyoung’s arm circled Heechul’s.

“No!” Heechul shouted.

“WHA--??? Why not?!” Minyoung shouted back because of shock.

“Uh... well... She said she wanted to spend alone time with me. So... maybe next time, you can greet her.” Heechul explained, trying to be calm.

Minyoung’s glare gradually disappeared as she believed what her best friend told her. “Okay then. Off you go.” She said shooing Heechul.

“Thanks!” Then he ran.

“I’m home!” Heechul called as he entered his apartment.

“Welcome back, Master.” greeted by his genie, who is standing near the door. “Have you had your dinner already?” Jasmine asked.

“Yes.” Heechul walked passed by her straight to the kitchen.

“Here.” He placed a cup of strawberry yogurt on the kitchen table.

Jasmine’s eyes widened. “You bought this for me?”

Heechul nodded. “I happen to pass by a yogurt store earlier and thought of buying some for you.”

“REALLY???” Jasmine’s wide grin cannot be denied. She liked what Heechul gave her.

“It’s a peace offering.” Heechul murmured.

“Thank you Master!” Jasmine grabbed a spoon and opened the cup. “I love strawberry yogurt!” She smiled.

“Good.” Heechul murmured with a smile.
