[Heechul’s POV]

“Awkward silence. Aish! I hate this!” I screamed to myself while looking at the people around me. I’m sitting around a bonfire with THE CHO KYUHYUN; the person whom I despise. Jasmine, my genie, is on my right while the guy she was with when I found her which is Lee Sungmin is on my left.

“Aish! My outing with my genie is ruined!” I glared at the fire in front of me, thinking of what happened earlier.

~*~an hour ago~*~

I went deeper in the forest to look for my genie. It felt like hours of walking until I reached the middle of the woods near the falls when I noticed a figure standing its back facing me that I recognized very well and she’s with someone.

“Jasmine-ah!” I shouted but heard another one shouted a different name. I assume it’s the name of the one Jasmine with.

“Sungmin hyung!” I looked to my right and saw him. Cho Kyuhyun... My BOSS. Jasmine and Sungmin looked at us.

“Chul oppa!” Jasmine run to me as Sungmin walked behind her but stopped in front of Kyuhyun. “Wae?” she tilted her head in confusion.

“It’s getting dark. Let’s go back.” I briefly bowed at the two guys staring at us then pulled Jasmine towards our cottage.

“Wait oppa.” She jerked her hand from mine and walked towards Sungmin and Kyuhyun. “You guys want to join us?”

I was dumbfounded. ‘She invited the two to join us! HAH! She’s pissing me off!’ I rolled my eyes as I heard her say that.

“It’s okay Jasmine ssi. It seems that Heechul ssi want to spend an alone time with you.” I coughed to what Kyuhyun said. I looked back at him and saw him staring at me blankly.

“Chul oppa~” Jasmine cooed with pleading eyes.

“Arasso. You’re free to join us.” I bluntly said and started to walk ahead.

“Yeah~! Thanks oppa!” I heard Jasmine squealed.

“So... Kyuhyun ssi. Sungmin ssi. How did you know Jasmine?” I broke the silence. What else can I do? Too much silence is killing me!

“Hm. I met Jasmine ssi at a cafe a few months ago.” Kyuhyun answered.

I scoffed. Hearing that they already met few months ago and yet Jasmine didn’t even bother to tell me. I glared at Jasmine who is smiling and all giddy barbequing marshmallows.

‘Why is she all giddy and happy?! Is it because her past love and master is here?! Aish!’

I scratched my head in frustration completely forgetting that there are two strangers with us.

“Heechul ssi?” I looked up and saw them (Sungmin, Kyuhyun and Jasmine) staring at me like I’m a total idiot. I faked a cough and composed myself again.

“I’m sorry. How about you Sungmin ssi? How did you meet Jasmine?” I looked at the guy on my left, waiting for his answer.

He heaved a sigh and glanced at Jasmine before answering. “I just met her in the woods. She looks like she’s lost so I was trying to help her find her way back. Right?”

I looked at Jasmine and she nodded enthusiastically. “That’s right! Sungmin o- Sungmin ssi found me in the woods.”

“Right.” I said in a slight irritable tone since I can’t really bring myself to believe what they said. I feel like they’re hiding something but I can’t pint my finger on to what it is.

“So. Heechul ssi. May I ask what is your relationship with Jasmine ssi?” Kyuhyun asked me that I spit out the water I am currently drinking. I looked at him with my round eyes, thinking of what to answer him. Then I looked at Jasmine.

“He’s!” She started but I butted in.

“I’m! I’m her childhood friend. Yes. Friend.” I looked at Jasmine signalling for her to agree on what I said.

“ah. Yes. Chul oppa and I are friends.” She chuckled and I sighed in relief.

I looked back at Kyuhyun and he nodded while Sungmin has a slight smirk on his face. ’Wait! What’s with that face?!’ I thought snorting.

‘So my supposed to be alone time with my genie became like this. Aish!’ I mumbled to myself grumpily eating the dinner Jasmine prepared.

Update! Sorry I can’t update for like weeks? I have to admit this. I can’t write if I am not inspired... T^T I just don’t want to give you crappy chapters so I don’t write just to update but I write to give satisfaction to my readers... I hope you understand... K

I also have a new job and I’m still a trainee so I’m doing my best to absorb everything... again, I’m sorry for updating so late...
