When her doorbell rung insistently, she had no choice but to heave her-sick-and-cold-self off the bed with the periwinkle-blanket around her shoulders to answer it.

When she opened the door, she found Hakyeon standing there, dressed in dark-sweatpants and a grey-sweater.

“Hakyeon-oppa?” she asked, “What are you doing here, don’t you have a party to go to?”

“What, and not spend New Year’s Eve with my girlfriend?”

“But I’m sick.”

“Which is why I brought soup, your favourite movies, and champagne.” Hakyeon said with a smile.

“…I love you, Hakyeon-oppa.”

“Happy New Year’s, my love” he whispered, kissing her forehead.
