“It’s nice. Why do you ask?” he replied, sitting down on the windowsill beside her.

“Winter is my favourite season,” she started, “It’s the season of true-love, because it’s not passionate like summer, not fragile like spring, and not fleeting like autumn. Love in the winter is pure, when affections bloom because your heart is bare…We… met last winter.”

He turned to her finally realizing what she meant.

She blushed scarlet.

He leaned in as she whispered:

“I fell in love with you in the winter,” and sealed her confession with a kiss.
