It was Jaehwan’s idea to explore the abandoned-hospital.

“Jaehwan-oppa,” she called after him, watching him pull open a wooden-door, “I don’t like how it feels in here: like there’s someone watching us.”

“Don’t be a scaredy-cat,” he said teasingly, entering the room, “there’s nothing here! Look see – gah!”

 “Jaehwan-oppa!” she raced into the room only to find the man smiling innocently.

“Gotcha!”

She tackled him, wringing his tan-sweater in her fingers.

“I was only joking!”

“I thought you died!”

“It’ll take more to kill the amazing Jaehwan – ”

 “Jaehwan-oppa?”

“…”

“Jaehwan-oppa?”

“When I tell you to run,” he whispered, “run.”
