It was a mistake. 

She caught his hypnotic gaze behind the rose-coloured glass. The world spun out of focus, everyone and everything disappeared other than this beautiful stranger.

She knew of the dangers.

“Who are you?” she asked as he led her into the deserted staircase. 

Of the creatures that ruled the night. 

“My name is Hongbin.” he replied with a dark-grin, caressing her cheek before pressing his lips against hers. 

Vampires.

“And you are now mine,” he hissed. Dark-brown eyes bled into demon-red. 

But it was too late.

Her heart stopped as the world shattered into planes of blood-red.
