Chapter 20

“Your order ma’am, sir.” The waiter said when he arrived at your table and gave your order.

You were together with Kwangmin at a restaurant.

Both of you were having fun together.

“Thanks for giving back this fork by the way.” You said while holding the fork.

“No problem. Uhhmm.. May I ask one question?”

“Neh, What is it?”

“Why is that fork important to you?”

You suddenly smiled.

“It was given to me by a special friend back then.”

*Youngmin’s POV*

I kept on waiting for the time that I will see your name on my phone stating that you texted me. But it’s already 4pm and still no text from you.

“Am I rejected?” I said to myself.

“Ani. Ani. Ani.” I continued.

Maybe she doesn’t have any load. Yeah, that’s right. I thought.

After a few minutes, I decided to go out the house and take a walk.

There were many restaurants and houses in our neighborhood.

I walked and walked and stopped.

“It’s ______~ah’s house.” I said looking at her house.

I stood there thinking if she already came back to Seoul, what she looks like now and most especially… Does she still remember me?

“Youngmin?”

I heard a man’s voice calling me. I looked back and saw ______’s father.

“Ah! Mr. Lee! Annyeong!” I bowed.

“I was right! You’ve grown up already Youngmin!”

“Deh, I see you still remembered me.” I smiled.

“When I saw your blonde hair I knew it was you!” He laughed.

I smiled back.

“By the way, have you already seen _____~ah?” Mr. Lee asked.

She’s back?!

“Aniyo... wae? Is she back already?” I curiously asked.

“Aigoo. Really? Deh, She’s back… but she’s gone missing and I don’t know why. She left me a note yesterday that she’s fine. I hope she really is.”

Mr. Lee’s smile faded away.

Missing?!

“It’s okay Mr. Lee. If I find her, I’ll tell you immediately.” I smiled.

“But… I can’t find her now since I don’t know what she looks like after 10 years.” I added.

“Oh right. I’ll give you a pic of her when I see one.” He smiled.

“Gomawo for helping. I need to go now Youngmin. See you next time then.”  Mr. Lee waved goodbye and I waved back.

She’s missing. Aigoo.

I continued to walk through the neighborhood until I found myself in a restaurant.

*Author’s POV*

“It was given to me by a special friend back then.” You smiled.

“Really? Is that friend a boy?”

“D-deh.” You smiled again.

“Ohhh… How long have you not seen your friend?”

“About 10 years.”

“Did you see him already? After 10 years?”

“Deh.”

“Does he know you?”

“Ani~ he still doesn’t know me.”

“I was right.” He smiled.

“Waeyo?”

“Because if he knows that it’s you then you should be with him right now and not with me.” He smirked.

You suddenly remembered that you need to meet with Youngmin.

You immediately stood up.

“I-I need to go now.” You bowed and hurriedly walked away to the exit.

You were walking so fast that you didn’t see the “wet floor sign”.

*BAAAM!* [just imagine yourself slipping]

You slipped.
