-The next morning-

“Where is that fork?” you said while searching for the fork in your bag.

“If that’s lost then Youngmin might get mad at me. Aigoo… I can’t let that happen.”

-FLASHBACK-

10 years ago…

“My mom died and left me and appa.” You cried again.

“Aigoo… D-don’t cry. Your mom will be sad if she sees you crying. She’s now in heaven and you should pray for her. Here…” He handed a cupcake with a fork on top.

You stopped crying and took the cupcake.

“You’re giving this to me?” You asked.

“Deh!” He smiled.

“K-kamsahamnida.” You smiled and ate the cupcake.

You finished eating and handed him the fork.

“Ani~ I’m giving it to you.” He smiled.

“Really?”

“Deh! That will be our remembrance.”

You smiled. “Arasso!”

“You wanna play?”

You nodded.

He took your hand and brought you to the see-saw. Both of you played and played until your dad came at the park.

“________~ah!” He shouted.

“Omo! It’s my appa! I have to go now.” You said.

“Really? See you next time then?”

“Deh, maybe tomorrow I’ll be here too.” You smiled.

You were about to run but suddenly.

“Wait! I don’t know your name yet!” He shouted.

“It’s Dae ______!” You shouted.

“I’m Jo Youngmin!”

You searched every pocket but still didn’t find it.

“I must’ve left it at appa’s house!”

You hurriedly stood, took a bath, changed clothes and went down stairs… ready to go.

“Eun Mi? Where are you going?”

You heard Halmoni Min and looked back at her.

“I’m heading back to appa’s place. I left something. I’ll be back as soon as I see it.” You smiled.

“Be safe then, arasso?”

“Arasso!”

You smiled again and went out. You were surprised on what you saw.

OMO! It’s Youngmin. Aigooo…

*Youngmin’s POV*

I woke up early to go back to Halmoni Min’s house.

I also brought Eun Mi’s favorite food, kimchi.

I’m so excited to see her. I hope she’s okay.

-after 1 hour-

I walked in Halmoni Min’s gate.

I was surprised in what I saw.

It’s her. The girl. What am I gonna do?

I think she’s surprised too.

Silence dominated the place.

This is awkward.

“Uhmm…. Are you here for Eun Mi?” She finally spoke.

“Deh… Is she with Halmoni Min now?”

“Deh… Is she with Halmoni Min now?”

Omo! What am I going to say? This is hard. I should call Halmoni. You thought.

“Uhh… please wait... I’ll call Halmoni Min...”

“Oh... no need. Can you just give this to Eun Mi? It’s her favorite.”

Youngmin handed over the kimchi.

Ohh… he’s so nice.

“D-deh… I’ll give it to her.”

“Kamsahamnida!” Youngmin smiled.

“Is there anything that you want?”

“There’s no more. By the way… are you going somewhere?”

Why is he asking?

“Deh… wae?

“Can we eat lunch together?”

You felt you’re cheeks heat up.

What will I reply?!
