dodged a mine, welcome a bomb!

Roar...it better

"Hell yeah!"Dongwoo squealed, barely keeping it in his...well, body.

As soon as he heard Sheenae's idea of new ways to 'entertain' him,he almost pinned Hoya to the back seat of the company's van and hurried everyone else inside just to get them there faster.

"Alright, dino, chill!Like for real!"Hoya smacked his head with the back of his hand."Are you trying to get us banned for good?Do you know what it'll do to us if we're spotted at..."

"Did your ears suffer alongside Sheenae's?Didn't you hear her say she got the CEO to aprove?!"Dongwoo happy danced in his seat."Tell him, Sheenae!"he urged, clasping at her shoulder, unfased at her total ignorance all that time.

"Idiot, she can't hear us!"Hoya shook his head in disbelief."God, I'm down the road to losing my integrity, why the heck did you have to tag along?"

Sheenae was suddenly very interested on what transpired for the last few minutes, asking for details while typing on her phone, seeing that Marcus had to ditch them at the last moment. It was practically the only way for them to understand eachother for the meantime.

"Sorry, hun,I kinda got carried away and forgot for a moment about your...condition."Dongwoo mused."Oh, I know, but still,it wasn't really nice on my part to ignore the reality."he smiled widely at her kind words written in his face."It's just this kid back here is as stubborn as an ox."he pointed at Hoya, sulking with his headphones on.He keeps complaining about our destination.Who wouldn't be excited to go to a poledance studio?"

He amused and slightly smug grin just about done it for Hoya!

"Seriously? Did you think I didn't have enough problems?I should've stuck with Gyu's proposal and accepted their offer to switch...oh, you didn't know?"he eyed her mischieviously."That's right, he already arranged for a new trainer."he stated matter of factly, enjoying her darkening aura."Stupid me, I actually took your side;guess he's still the better gambler."

Before any word got out,Sheenae hit the side chair, flinching at the stinging wrist.

"He doesn't call the shots, this time!"she struggled with her speech, making both Hoya and Dongwoo feel sorry for forcing it out of her.

"I'll say! You just went way over him and got the CEO to agree. If not for this,I'm willing to sacrifice my integrity and go with you."Hoya finally admitted."Just to rub it in his face, huh?"he winked at her.

"It's not what you think, moron."she flicked his forehead, barely making herself understood.

"Don't feel sorry,we get it.I mean we might take a little longer, but we'll understand you eventually."Dongwoo assured her, reading her angsty words about not making too much sense with her voice."Yeah, it would've been better if Marcus was here."he agreed."Finally, the manager is here;now we can get on with it."he eyed the said man taking his seat as the designated driver.

"Needless to say wee have to keep a low profile, alright, guys?"the manager warned.

"And whose words might those be?"Hoya puffed his soft bangs out of his eyes.

"Let's call it common sense."he said, before starting the engine.

Much to Dongwoo's dismay, the place wasn't anything remotely close to a stripping club, which only solidified Hoya's relief at seeing that Sheenae enlisted him on a new programme meant to strengthen his ankle by using  beginner pole dancing techniques.Quite bizzare, but effective,if he was to judge the trainer's demonstration(a male trainer,go figure!).

"I got your message just an hour ago,are you ok?"he hugged her with care, paying close attention to reffer to her face to face.'It's been a while since I was graced with your presence.Hey, I wasn't moking!'he laughed, barely dodging her fist."Really, now. What happened?"

While Sheenae busied herself with explaining,Dongwoo nudged Hoya to look their left wher a group of different age and builds were trying to master the art.No one was being bulied, rather encouraged to grasp as well as they could the different moves that made pole dancing such an extreme sport.

"Care to join the crew?"the trainer then appeared."I believe you're the one in dire need of torturing."he eyed Hoya's leg."I'm Dae Sung,by the way.Nice meeting you."he reached to greet them.

"Well put."Hoya shook his hand."I still don't see what this could do to help."he scrunched his nose.

"That, my friend is up to us to pinpoint.Right, Sheen?"he nodged her shoulder like they shared a secret joke.

"Wait, you do this...I mean you can actually dance like..."Dongwoo stuttered, making Sheenae laugh for the first time that day.He didn't even aknowledged Dae Sung lightly making his aquaintance.

"It helps her after her attacks. The pole actually manages to give her the needed support in her weak balance. In your case,we're gonna work on your lower body using the pole's support.Sheenae brieved me on your progress and it's gonna do you good to start using your leg with much more powerful moves;whenever you start getting tired you can always work other muscle groups.Let me show you."he hurried to demonstrate, attacking the pole with much more grace than expected from a guy.In mere seconds, the others joined him, eventhough they opted for different  routines, none hotter than Sheenae's, though.

If Hoya barely could stand keeping his eyes off of her,he didn't even want to fathom what Dongwoo was thinking. Her attire was as loose and casual as any other day(thank the skies!),but her moves...so addictive. At some point, Hoya had to admit she didn't do anything to spite, rather trying hard to get back to her old self, but that didn't mean she wasn't stealing Dae Sung's spotlight as they spoke.

"Hard as it might be to believe, she's the one that introduced me to this sport."the trainer came closer to the two gaping mouths on the side.I guess, she'll always have the upper hand.'he smiled sincerely."Come on, show's over.Let's get you worked up for real.'he patted Hoya on his back.

For the next several hours,he got the basics down to almost master's degree. He couldn't say it didn't put a strain on his leg,but it felt revigorating.Sheenae had to quit after just one hour and Dongwoo offered to keep her company or at least give her a ride home, which she both kindly declined.

"I'm only surveying from the side.I can't let him slack off."the dino read her trembled scribble on the sheet of paper she used to draw a specific routine meant for just Hoya.

"We'll try that for the next few days.'Dae Sung agreed, after studying her sketch."You can rest."

"Yeah,I was kinda gonna suggest something like that.No point in overdoing things."Dongwoo second him.

"Nobody likes to be scolded;I should know."Hoya slouched on the floor in front of her."But you just got out of the hospital and underwent a bat procedure.I'll be alright with Dae Sung for a while."he assured her.

"That's not what worries me."Sheenae tried to say, although very hard without her hearing aid.

"I don't...what did.."Dongwoo scrunched his eyes, seeking help from the others,as she closed her eyes, leaning hear head on the wall.

"She meant to tell you she's too much of a coward to admit she's afraid to be alone."a lispy voice echoed in the room, startling all three of them. The class had ended already and they were the only ones left."She'd much rather risk her health, like the mule that she is,before asking for help."Sunggyu slowly made his way towards them.

"How did you get here?"Dongwoo rushed up to him.

"I sure as hell didn't fly on a broomstick."he dead panned in a dark tone."Imagine my utter amasement when the CEO kindly informed me of your whereabouts.I just had to see it with my own eyes."he looked down at Sheenae's tired frame.

"Look,she got the OK from..."

"Down boy!"he cut Hoya short."I'm not trying to mess with your toy;I was duely noted of her...doings."Sunggyu chose his words as bitter as possible."I might not agree with it,but I'm not in the position to argue.Except for one thing. And that is she needs complete  bedrest."

Sheenae was completely unaware of whatever was being said around her, having already fallen asleep, the faint snoring sound coming out of her nose being all they needed to hear to finally understand the truth in Sunggyu's words.

"Wow,I didn't see that coming."Dongwoo frowned, while Hoya and Dae Sung chuckled.

"Come on.I've got the van outside.I'll send it back after you two."

"Are you really gonna...'

"Let me guess."Sunggyu cut Dongwoo short."Her stupid overprotective idiot  cousin of hers told you to keep us apart!"

"That's...one way to put it.But,how did you know?"

"We had been best friends at some point afterall."Sunggyu admitted with sad eyes."I'll only leave her sorry arse at her place."

"But you just said she shouldn't be alone."Dongwoo pleaded her case, making him pause just before he got to take her in his arms.

"Busted!"Hoya smirked."Your little act doesn't really sell, granpa. The sad part is I really believe you know what's best for her, even though you're the worst choice."

"I never said I wasn't gonna search for answers.'Sunggyu looked him deep in the eyes."She...they did hide this from me.Can you blame me for trying to understand why she felt the need to make a fool out of me?"his nostrils flared in anger.

"Can't you wait until after she's done with me?You know how much I hate drama."Hoya got up."Can we get on with it?"he asked Dae Sung who gladly joined him,as the others scooped Sheenae up.
