HYERI   Being the marksman - or woman to be factual - of our little group I usually have to sit atop high places with nothing to do. At least Minseok- our computer genius hacker - has something to do even though he is very far from the front line and of course Luhan is always the one busy. One of our first forays into our current job I had a hard time falling asleep since I was paranoid that I might miss our mark. High Master made Tablo teach me how to sleep lightly yet still very restful. Over the years I had mastered the technique that now I can fall sleep in a few seconds and also be able to wake up and be more alert then an average human. That technique is sometimes a pain since being such a light sleeper I have never slept in the mornings, now since it was technically my birthday I wish to sleep in or at least to laze around my bed like a cat but apparently my other two housemates have other ideas. “Hyeri wake up.” Luhan said poking my side. “Go away.” I mumble turning away from him. “Come on princess it’s your birthday. Wake up.” Minseok said poking my other side. “Go away.” I repeated, lying flat on my back knowing that they were both on sides. “Minseokie I think we have to use our secret weapon to wake her up.” Luhan said and despite my closed eyes I already know the evil grin he is flashing to Minseok. Without warning hot air was blown into both of my ears, my eyes snapped opened and I bolted upright covering my ears. “I’m awake! I’m awake!” I shouted scattering away from the two who were grinning like fools. “I hate you two!” “Good morning to you too baby!” Luhan said in a sing song voice and I felt myself tumble towards him involuntarily. “Yah!!” I screamed trying to extract myself from him but Luhan despite him always using his powers is also a soccer buff hence toned and muscled, I have no chance fighting him off and well add Minseok to the equation and I am once again sandwiched between the two of them. “I haven’t heard of a custom where they kill a birthday celebrant.” “Happy birthday to you! EW!” They kissed my temples next. “GET OFF ME!” I shouted kicking the covers away and manged to jump out of my bed. I pushed my hair away from my face and glared at the two who were still grinning at me. “I want to sleep in for my birthday! Can’t you at least give me that?!” “But we get to give you your gift if we let you sleep in.” Minseok answered pouting. I glared at him and Luhan still pissed but I felt my anger disappear as Luhan also pouted and twiddled his thumbs. “You could have woken me normally!” I answered crossing my arms as I glared but I wasn’t mad anymore and the two knew it. “But that was fun.” Luhan said moving away from Minseok so they had a space between themselves. “Come on sit. We have something to give you.” I eyed the space warily as the two smiled, why do these two have to look like innocent children. It’s unfair. I sighed and sat myself between them. Luhan laughed as Minseok threw an arm around my shoulders. Luhan snapped his fingers and I saw a cupcake fly towards us. I must have been to distracted to not notice it flying behind me. It stopped in front of me and the lone candle flickered for a moment before it’s flame steadied itself. “Make a wish!” Luhan said putting an arm around my waist. “Make a wish princess.” I rolled my eyes at him and Minseok but did what they asked. Closing my eyes, I suddenly saw our mom in front of me smiling softly. Her brown hair much like Minseok softly flew around her round face. Her eyes glimmered with happiness as it met mine. Happy birthday my princess. I felt myself choke as I almost wished for her to come back. She smiled again and softly nod. I wish.. I wish to always be happy with Luhan Oppa and Minseok Oppa. I softly blew out air and opened my eyes again to see the two looking at me a bit worried. “Hey why are you crying?” Minseok asked wiping the lone tear that escaped. “I miss mom.” I sniffed. “We miss her too Hye-ah. I’ll thank him later.” I said tearing away the brown paper to reveal a book inside. I grin as I leafed through it. It was about some person’s adventures through some mysterious underwater island. Sounds interesting. I placed it on the small bookshelf I have and stood up. “Can we have breakfast first though?” After we ate and changed the two tugged me outside and we started walking. “Where are we going?” I asked. “To your birthday present.” Luhan answered as he took Minseok’s back pack from him. Minseok still hasn’t fully recovered his strength from yesterday’s episode. “Are we going to the flying gardens?”I asked excitedly. “Aren’t you fd up with that place yet?” Minseok asked. “Nope.
