Chapter 2 HYERI We entered the room beyond the grand gold door and saw Grand Mayor Bom leaving. She waved jovially when she spotted us and even patted Luhan's bum along the way making the latter squeak in surprise. She winked at Minseok and smiled at me. Her guards closely following her and watching us warily. The door closed and we faced a rather outlandish set of furniture with the one in the middle looking oddly like a horse. The horse like chair was infact the one the now housed the High Master who beamed when he set his eyes on us. "Greetings High Master." Luhan said stepping forward and did a half bow. Minseok followed suit while I curtsied. "Hello my favorite team!" High master greeted us. "Now now how are you three? My Hyeri is going to be legal tomorrow I hear." "Yes High Master." I answered bowing again. "Now now Hyeri-ah. You know how I like the girls here to address me as Oppa eh?" High Master said now gently pulling my chin upward. I saw in my peripherals that Luhan and Minseok had gone rigid. I never felt high master move towards me. "S-sorry Oppa." I stammered. "Oppa?" He asked cocking his head, his eyes morphing into slits. "Sorry Psy Oppa. I.. I'm just not that used to calling you Oppa. It's too informal." I answered looking him straight in the eye. "Forgive me Oppa." "I'll let this pass eh?" High Master said with a grin and patted my head. "Hyeri-ah is growing to be such a beautiful lady! Are you sure you don't want to move here and live a more comfortable life?" "And loose your most accomplished sniper?" Luhan quipped. I eyed him with a warning. "Ahh. True my Deer, true." High Master said with a nod. "I'm fine living with my Oppas, thank you for the constant offer though Psy Oppa." I answered and grinned. "I think these two will die without me. No one will cook and feed them on time you see." "Yah!" Minseok and Luhan exclaimed in union. "Hahaha!" High Master said grinning and placed his arms on Luhan and Minseok. "Now this is my favorite team. Always arguing and bickering but works so good together like a well oiled machine." "Thank you High Master- for the compliment." Minseok answered. "Come. Let's sit and talk then." High Master said and pulled the two with him towards another set of weird furniture. I followed and gingerly sat down on a hovering chair that looked like an arm chair- well at least it's comfortable. When High Master said 'talk' that means we need to report to him if he contracted us for a mision or show him what we had to offer if we're just here to sell something to him. For today we're here to report that his mission was a success. "Here are the items you wanted." Luhan said pulling out a string bag and emptying it. A handful of beautiful gray gems with pink specks embedded inside decorated the table. "Wonderful! It's even more then what I asked for! Just wonderful!" High Master exclaimed picking up one gems one examining it. A Serbo - service robot- came closer with a hologram scan and High Master placed the gem he was holding on the scanner. A heart beat later it showed us some details about the gem it was holding. "Perfect! Like as I expected from you three." "Glad you like it." Luhan said as I picked up a stray one that rolled my way. "It's so pretty." I murmured. "That stone is not matched for you my dear Hyeri. Emeralds and rubies look better on you." High master said. "But this lot is a few pounds higher then what we talked about. What do you plan to do with the excess?' "We plan to sell it to you High Master- since it's such a rare item I think no other buyer will take it but you." Luhan said glancing at Minseok. I nearly laughed with the 'rare item'. It was a definitely a rare item alright. One that the Polizea would instantly identify if we sell it to any other buyer. "Hmmmm." High master said rubbing his chin. "Plus we wanted to buy Hyeri cake for tomorrow. We know she can bake a decent one but for tomorrow we'd like Hyeri to be like a princess- hence we hope we can sell them to you to help us grant her a special day tomorrow." Minseok said. "Aha! Now that is a brilliant move. You two know that Hyeri hold a special place in my heart. Alright I'll buy them and give you a bonus for being such great champs." High Master said and snapped his fingers. Another Serbo appeared together with beautifully dressed and veiled lady. She curtsied to High Master and she must have smiled at since her golden brown eyes crinkled and shone as she faced us. "My dear to what do I owe your wonderful presence?" High Master asked standing up and holding out his hand to the woman. "Dear I'm sorry to interrupt but I just saw the Grand Mayor's convoy leave our home. Why was she here?" A soft and delicate voice answered and I realized that after long time I have again laid my eyes on the elusive High Mistress. "We'll discuss it later when these kids are gone, but to make it short some trouble is brewing in Avis. Something valuable was stolen and Grand Mayor was here to ask if I knew anything. Which I have no clue on- Avis is out of my territory." High Master answered. "Alright then. I'll prepare some light snacks for you after you're done here. I'll be at the patio Dear." High Mistress said and left. "What's happening in Avis Psy Oppa?"I ask curious too. All of Maraha knows how brilliant our Grand Mayor is but she is also know for unorthodox ways- being friends with the head of underworld crime is a known fact among its residents and her asking him advice on what is happening to Avis, something big might be happening. "Nothing to worry your pretty head above Hye-ah. Just some thieves going out of their bounds and monsters." High Master answered and handed Luhan a golden card. "Here's your payment, buy Hyeri some new toys as my present eh? Heard there is a powerful new rifle, nice scope and range that in the hands of Hyeri will be a beautiful thing- although I pray never to see that." "Thank you Psy Oppa!" I said gleefully. "Off you go then." High Master said with a smile. "Please contact us if you have anything else you want." Luhan said bowing. "Thank you High Master." Minseok adds and bowing also. "We'll show ourselves out." Luhan said pocketing the golden card. "Have a great day tomorrow Hyeri!" High Master said waving as we got out of the room and closed the door. "Hey guys." Chan-hee greeted us when we rounded the corridor going outside. His red hair glimmering in the light. "Yo. Hey guys." Luhan answered as Minseok waved. "Your turn next?" "Suppose to be but High Master has to go somewhere so he'll met us some other time." Niel answered. "Hey have you heard that AOA is here?" "The AOA?!" Minseok demanded with wide eyes. "The AOA" Niel answered his grin wide. I rolled my eyes at them as they burst into fan boy mode over one of the more famous thieves- AOA. They're an all girl group that is highly successful and still uncaught. I admit they're amazing- but I'm impressed with their skills. The boys were just impressed with their looks. AOA likes to dressed up as cats- which I don't know why. I wander away from them to admire a wonderful painting of the snow mountains in Avis. It looked so cool and peaceful- but the painting was banned, High Master was the only brave soul to buy
