Eclipse (Korean: -) is a South Korean girl group under J.Tune Camp. The group debuted on June 25, 2015 with the song "Pepe" and the first mini album titled "First Love". The current lineup includes Bea, Kyeonghee, Juyeon, Sun, and Faith.
History
Pre-debut: 'Unforgiving Shock'
The five girls came from the surivial show held by J.Tune camp and MBC called 'Unforgiving Shock'. The same day J.Tune Camp announced that the girls would be called Eclipse and would train longer together to decide on their debut song and album.
Eclipse's average age is 17.8 years at debut.
2015: 'The Light', first mini album, 1 million views and 2 million views, tension, disbandment
Eclipse released a MV teaser tited 'The Light' on the May 18th and the full MV was released on May 22nd.
Teasers for Eclipse's official debut was released on June 14th for their debut MV song 'Pepe' and theri first mini album 'First Love'. Eclipse then officially debuted on June 25, 2015 at 'Music Core' and had their debut showcase the day after.
Eclipse then acheived 1 million views on ther 'Pepe' MV on Youtube on July 5th and they released a dnace practice video. Falling that was 2 million views on July 22nd and they released a special version. The girls also performed 'First Love' and 'Eighteen' on certain stages.
On August 21st online news reported that members Sun and Faith were not getting along via Twitter posts but J.Tune Camp said that both have issues within the group and are currently solving those issues. And confirming that the group is not disbanding.
On December 22nd, J.Tune Camp announced that Eclipse would disband after in group conflict and some members will have a chance to re-debut.
