Four: Good Night
Keep Me"What are you here for?" Seungyoon asks, his voice muffled because his head is slumped against his desk. It's just his second
day in school but he's already ready to give up. "We have P.E. class next, Seungyoon-ssi. You have to get up now, everyone is
already downstairs." Jinwoo tells him. Seungyoon lifts his head to look at Jinwoo. "Go there now." Seungyoon replies. "I won't
go until you do." Jinwoo says stubbornly. "Nope, i'm staying here." Seungyoon tells him, slumping back on his desk. "No,
you're not." Jinwoo defends and pulls Seungyoon's arms. "Come on now. Our teacher would get mad." Jinwoo pleads. "I don't
care." Seungyoon tells him. "Please..." Jinwoo begs yet again and Seungyoon dares to look at the kid's eyes and he cringes
deep inside. Who can resist this guy when he begs? Absolutely no one. Even Seungyoon could not resist him. "Fine. Fine.
You're so annoying." Seungyoon gives in and Jinwoo smiles at him and rejoiced.
Jinwoo grabbed his hands again and Seungyoon thinks Jinwoo would form a habit of grabbing and holding his hands.Jinwoo
led them to the others and Seungyoon could feel heat rising to his face. He doesn't have a clue on what is happening but
Seungyoon is positive he can feel a smile almost begging to appear on his lips.

It's hot outside and the sun is so bright in Mino's eyes. He wished he just stayed upstairs with Seungyoon. They need to do
twenty laps around the field and Seunghoon is somehow enthusiastic. Taehyun is also looking energetic, which is a surprise
for Mino, in the said exercise. He's keeping up with Seunghoon who's in front of the class. His hair is so fluffy and he's
laughing along with Seunghoon and Mino wants to intervene, although he doesn't know why. He wants to wipe that smile
from Seunghoon but it's kinda weird because they're best friends and best friends should not think like that.But he can't
help it and he huffs and placed an annoyed face on him. Running was never and will never be Mino's thing but he tries
to catch up with the two. He doesn't know why but he feels like he had to. He sees Seungyoon and Jinwoo finally joining the
class and Jinwoo looked like he could cry right there while Seungyoon looked at their teacher with an annoyed frown. Why is
everyone annoyed? Or is it just Mino? It turns out that Seungyoon and Jinwoo needs to do five more laps than them. He
sighs and mentally patting his back that he did not give in with his laziness and went to class on time. Mino's attention got
back to Taehyun. He's still running in a steady pace,with a smile on his lips. Mino thinks that Taehyun is beautiful again, just
like that.
Mino doesn't know how many laps had passed but he was sure as hell that his nose hurts. Taehyun, Seunghoon, Seungyoon,
Jinwoo and their P.E. teacher Mr. Dong came rushing towards him. He feels a bit dizzy as he looks up at them, add the
irritating light coming from the sun. Taehyun kneeled beside him, towel in hand and he pressed the towel against Mino's nose.
"I think it's not really right to ask if you're okay because obviously you're not. Does it hurt bad?" Taehyun asks in his usual
concerned voice that Mino heard last time when he ran away in the rain. "I'm okay..." Mino attempts to stand up but he's
stopped by Taehyun. "Song Mino, you ran into a pole and your nose is bleeding don't ever tell me you're okay." Taehyun
says, his eyebrows furrowed. "I ran into a pole but I don't- ouch" Mino flinches at the sting on his nose. "Mr. Song, I suggest
you go to the school infirmary." Their teacher told him. By now, a few more students are gathered in a circle near Mino.
Seungyoon glares at them so that they would give them some space. It worked a little bit but it's not enough. Jinwoo tries
to tell them to back away as nicely as he can but some boys bumps into Jinwoo who almost lost his balance. Seungyoon
then steps up and leads Jinwoo away from them and his eyes fixed with a glare found the boys who bumped into Jinwoo.
"Girls and boys, please just step back and give Mr. Song some space, okay? Continue your exercise. Come on, you're
not injured are you? Finish your laps then you're free to go." Mr. Dong ordered and the others reluctantly dispersed and
continue their exercise. "Well?" Mr. Dong asked, looking at Seunghoon, Seungyoon, Jinwoo and Taehyun. "I'll accompany
him to the infirmary, sir." Taehyun offers and Mr. Dong smiled. "Sure. But only you, Mr. Nam. The rest of you, continue."
Their teacher says and Seunghoon whines with a 'this is so unfair all four of us should accompany him' and Seungyoon
rolls his eyes while Jinwoo laughs but they made their way to continue the exercise anyway.
"Can you get up?" Taehyun asks softly and Mino just nods and tries to get up. Tries is the keyword because after three
tries it is clear to Taehyun that he can't get up on his own. Taehyun puts Mino's arms around his shoulders and puts a
free hand on Mino's waist. "I'm heavy." Mino grumbles in a low voice and Taehyun chuckles. "That you are. But it's okay
I can handle it." Taehyun turns to look at Mino with a smile. "Walk slowly okay? Are you dizzy or something?" Taehyun
asks on the way. "Yeah, my head hurts and my vision spins. And the sun is really getting into my nerves. It's irritating."
Mino informs Taehyun who's now giving a full-on laugh."Why did you ran into the pole anyway? Why are you spacing out?"
Taehyun asks and of course Mino lies with an 'I don't know' because how can he tell Taehyun that his smile is what distracted
him? He has a bloody nose at the moment so it's just not the right time to talk about it. Taehyun and Mino reached the infirmary
and Mino pouts like a child (which Taehyun pointed out with a laugh by the way) when the school nurse told him that she can't
let Taehyun come inside with Mino. "I'll be heading back to class. See you later Mino." Taehyun smiles and Mino waves with his
own smile as a response.

"Jinwoo-ssi, you look like a zombie, This isn't like you. Although I've only met you for a while but this isn't like you. You're like
a ball of sunshine and smiles.A puppy who lifts our moods up." Seunghoon tells Jinwoo who's looking like he's got the worst
day. "I failed the math quiz." Jinwoo sighs and Seunghoon looks at him like he's joking. "It's just the first quiz right? Maybe
you can catch up at the quizzes later on." Seunghoon soothes him but Jinwoo frowns even more. Their conversation caught
Seungyoon's attention. It's not that the sad tone on Jinwoo's voice is what really caught his attention...nope...not at all. "You
don't understand, Seunghoon-ah. I am bad at math. You can ask Taehyun about it he'll agree. Right Taehyun?" Jinwoo
turns to Taehyun who's busy looking outside the window. "Huh...what is it?" Taehyun asks dismissing his worry about Mino.
"Do you agree that I am bad at math?" Jinwoo repeats his question and Taehyun nods. "Well, if you are quite worried about
your grades," Seunghoon paused to shudder "You can ask Yoonie here to help you out. He may not look like it but he's a
genius kid." Seunghoon finishes, sounding like a proud mom of Seungyoon. Jinwoo's face lights up and Seungyoon sent
daggers to Seunghoon using his eyes. Jinwoo turns to Seungyoon with hopeful eyes. "Could you please, please help me
out on math?" Jinwoo pleads. Seungyoon sighs. Here goes Jinwoo with his begging again. Seungyoon looks at Seunghoon
and his 'friend' urges him with a wink to which he rolls his eyes. "Fine." Seungyoon sighs and Jinwoo comes over him and
hugs him tight. "Yay~ thank you Seungyoon-ssi! It means a lot!" Jinwoo telss him and Seungyoon finally let that smile come.

Taehyun kind of rushed towards where Mino is... The infirmary. The nurse insisted that he stays there for the rest of the day and as the time passes by,
Taehyun can’t help but worry about how Mino is doing. Seunghoon, Seungyoon and Jinwoo followed him. They decided to walk Mino home and Seunghoon
called Mino’s cousin Dara to inform her that they are coming over. “I swear, Dara-noona cooks the best meals in here. It's one of the reasons why I love
staying over." Seunghoon informs Taehyun and Jinwoo dreamily. Seungyoon knocks on the door and the nurse opened the door for them.
“Good afternoon, kids. Mino here can’t keep still. He wants to go out of here. He’s been whining for about an hour now.” the nurse laughs fondly.
“typical Mino.” Seunghoon shakes his head with a smile. “My friend, I missed you~” Seunghoon hurries to hug Mino and fake an exaggerated cry.
“Ehhh, get off me Hoon!” Mino tells him, swatting his hands away. “Ouch... That’s how you treat me after I worry about you? How cruel.” Seunghoon
says. “Stop that Hoon, it’s disgusting.” Seungyoon laughs and everyone, except the nurse who’s busy cleaning up her table, turned to Seungyoon.
“Wow, Yoonie, you laughed.” Seunghoon points out and Seungyoon rolls his eyes. “Yeah, I never see or hear you laugh.” Jinwoo adds thoughtfully.
“Is it weird for someone to laugh? How about let’s go now? Dara-noona might be waiting for us already.” Seungyoon reminds them and Seunghoon
stood up immediately from the infirmary bed and Mino follows suit. “You’re all coming with me?” Mino asks. “Apparently.” Taehyun replies because
they’re the only ones left inside the infirmary, Seunghoon, Jinwoo and Seungyoon are already in the hallway. “So, are you feeling alright now?”
Taehyun asks, eyes locking with Mino’s. “Never better.” Mino chuckles and puts a hand on Taehyun’s back, guiding him towards the others.

“Waah~ Welcome to our house.” Dara said, welcoming Mino and his guests. “Noona! Long time no see.” Seunghoon smiles as they enters. “Yah, I can
already smell the food you prepared.” Seungyoon adds. “Well, you kids are coming so I made it extra special.” Dara winks and Seunghoon let’s out
a happy cheer. Dara then turned to Taehyun and Jinwoo. “Ah, you must be his new friends. I’m his cousin Dara.” She smiles enthusiastically which
the other two returned. “My name is Kim Jinwoo. It’s nice to meet you.” Jinwoo introduces. “Ahh, you’re their class representative? Mino told me about
how you dragged Yoonie back to school.” she laughs and Jinwoo smiles. “And you must be the famous Nam Taehyun. Mino talks about you a lot. I mean,
he even named our new cat as Nam.” Dara said, grabbing both of Taehyun’s hands. “Yeah, I’m Taehyun.” Taehyun says awkwardly and Mino came to the
picture. “Noona~ Don’t tell them weird things.” Mino tells his cousin. Taehyun looks at them and wonders: why would anyone hink Song Mino is dangerous?
Really, he’s such a kid. Taehyun then opens his bag and pulls out a camera, capturing the exchange. All eyes were on him and he smiles. “Picture?” he
asks and everyone got to their places. Seunghoon backhugs Mino and flashed his infectious smile. Mino smiles too, quite happy that Taehyun’s taking a
picture of them. Beside Mino is Dara doing a cute pose. Jinwoo’s back is on the camera but his smiling face is turned to the lens, his fingers forcing a
smile on Seungyoon’s lips. A flash is all it takes to capture this and Taehyun is happy with it. Dara then offered to take a picture of the five of them.
Mino’s arms are around Taehyun, Seungyoon is smiling now and Jinwoo is doing some aegyo. Seunghoon is pouting, as if saying why doesn’t he
have a partner.
They ate happily and talked for a while before they decide to part ways. Seunghoon gave a cheerful wave as he went to his house (which is actually just
two houses away). Seungyoon, Jinwoo and Taehyun thanked Dara and Mino and said their goodbyes. Mino wasn’t able to say his goodbyes because
Nam the cat jumped fro his arms and went inside the house so he followed him.
Taehyun was already on his bed when he hears his phone ringing. He looked at the caller ID and saw a contact he saved sometime when Mino and him
were talking in their living room. “Hello?” Taehyun calls out. “Hello~ is this Taehyun?” Mino’s voice answered. “Yes this is.” Taehyun laughs over the
phone because Mino’s voice is worried that he might be calling the wrong number. Yes, they haven’t checked whether the contacts were correct until
that night. “Ahh... Umm... I just called to say have a good night. I haven’t got the chance to tell you that a while ago because of Nam.” Mino says
quickly. “Good night to you too, Mino.” Taehyun smiles. “Umm... Sweet dreams, Taehyun. Goodbye. Sleep well.” Mino tells him. Taehyun feels his
heart racing again. “You too. Bye.” Taehyun manages to reply after a second or two. They hang up at the same time.
Mino slept with a smile on his lips.
Taehyun did sleep well and had a nice dream.
