Mino took a bite from one of the reserved apple props at the backstage. Everyone is already frantic, running around and freaking out. Seungyoon 

then pops out of nowhere and grabs onto Mino's shoulder. “Mino. What am I going to do?” Seungyoon asks in a whiney tone. “Look at the 

bright side, Seungyoonie. At least you get to kiss the love of your life instead of some random girl right?” Mino replies with a wink. “He's not- oh 

my god Mino. Jinwoo’s not the love of my life!” Seungyoon says (lies). Mino looked at him straight in the yes. “You’re not a good liar. Your cheeks 

and ears are red right now.” Mino tells him then laughs after a bit. “Yah! Did I miss something? Why is Mino laughing?” Seunghoon asks after 

approaching his friends. “Nothing.” Seungyoon denies and Mino's laughter became louder. “He's in love with Jinwoo but he keeps denying it. 

Look at him, red as this apple I'm eating.” Mino informs Seunghoon,wiping a tear from earlier's joy. “Why are you denying it? It was way too 

obvious since day one-oow!” Seunghoon was cut-off by Seungyoon kicking him on his knees. “Shut up, okay?” Seungyoon sighs. “Aww, Yoonie” 

Mino teases and he only shuts up when Seungyoon tells him that his jokes aren't really funny and that he only laughs for Mino because he is 

his friend. Seungyoon even added an apology for hiding it from Mino all these years but it only made Mino be on the verge of tears.

Mino went to the dressing room to sulk and whine at Taehyun. He opens the door quite dramatically making Taehyun roll his eyes. 

“Taehyunnie~!” Mino says with a pout. “Shut up, Mino. And why aren't you in your costume yet? Go get dressed and stop bothering me I am 

busy, in case you haven't noticed yet..” Taehyun tries to push Mino out the door but Mino stood steadily there, his face levelling Taehyun's. 

Their faces were close enough to feel each other's breath. Taehyun looks everywhere but Mino's eyes but the older guy kept his gaze on 

Taehyun's wandering ones. “Yah. Don't tire yourself. And please put that frown away. You look better with a smile.” Mino tells Taehyun who 

swats him on the arm. “Whatever.” Taehyun replies. “Uhh, Taehyun-ah?” someone calls from behind Mino and Taehyun. “Oh my god... 

Jinwoo?” Mino stutters as he sees Jinwoo with make-up and a wig. “Oh,hi Mino” Jinwoo smiles. “You look like a real girl... Except for the 

clothes and the fact that you are a boy.” Mino says bluntly making Taehyun roll his eyes. “Taehyun, what do you think is this okay?” 

Jinwoo asks shyly. “To be honest, you look like a girl just like Mino said. And a pretty one at that.” Taehyun compliments but he sees 

Jinwoo on the verge of tears when he heard it. “Oh come on, it isn't that bad, in fact it's nice.” Mino assures Jinwoo but it was a futile 

attempt. “But... This is so embarrassing. And you guys telling me I look like a girl isn't helping.” Jinwoo whines. Mino is sure that Taehyun 

closing his eyes means that Taehyun's restraining himself from hitting his best friend. “Jinwoo, this was your idea. Besides, you said so 

yourself that you don't want this to fail right? And isn't you looking like a girl is the whole point of this? You will play as Snow White. You 

said that yourself because you wrote the script you kinda memorised what is written on those piles of paper. No time for back outs.” Taehyun 

says firmly and Jinwoo had to agree on what Taehyun just said. “Oh, and I think Seungyoonie is kind of excited to see you in your costume. 

I also think that he was happy that it was you instead of the female lead.” Mino adds and Taehyun did not restrain himself from hitting Mino. 

Jinwoo covers his face with his hands, hiding the blush on his face.

“Just go! Don't be a kid.” Mino urged Seungyoon to go up to the stage already. Seungyoon frowns. He already endured the urge to run away 

from the play for an hour already and he almost missed his lines most of the time whenever he has a scene with Jinwoo. The flower crown 

and Jinwoo’s eyes doesn't do anything ti calm him down during those scenes (and who the hell added that flower crown anyways? As far 

as Seungyoon knows, Snow white doesn't have one on the Disney version). 

Right now is the most dreaded time of Seungyoon. He would trade anything just to be anywhere but inside the theatre hall in front of 

hundreds of people with Jinwoo laying on a bed (coffin, whatever, the props men did their best) looking good like any other day on 

Seungyoon's life only, Seungyoon gets the chance to actually kiss Jinwoo. Not that he thinks about doing it on random times of the day or 

something (okay, he is and it's kinda freaking him out).

Seungyoon shakily walked towards Jinwoo, the dwarfs (led by Seunghoon who is actually trying hard to conceal his delight on what's 

going to happen) are already positioned to where they were supposed to be.

Seungyoon almost cried because Jinwoo looks beautiful. He really wants to whine right now about how unfair life is. Seungyoon leans closer 

and he swore at that moment it was already hard to breathe. Seungyoon closed his eyes and sighed. Jinwoo is his friend, they got closer 

already and Jinwoo’s always with him if not with Taehyun and why is he even having an internal conflict when people are actually waiting for 

him to kiss Jinwoo and maybe Seungyoon is afraid of losing Jinwoo's friendship (and his mind is screaming at him that that's bull because 

Jinwoo won't let their friendship end with a kiss). 

So Seungyoon, being stupid, kissed Jinwoo on his forehead.

Jinwoo slowly opened his eyes and looked straight into Seungyoon's eyes. Seungyoon thinks it was just right, like everything is good 

because Jinwoo smiles at him but deep in both their eyes is something missing.

The crowd, of course, applauded at the sight and the curtains were closed once again for the scene change.

“We need to celebrate!” Seunghoon announced as he entered the dedication booth where his friends are residing for they are the ones in 

charge for that time. The booth was nice, filled with cute designs by their female classmates. It was a pretty good decision to make a dedication 

booth because everyone loves having their favourite songs played and their messages sent out anonymously through the school speakers.

It was a day after the successful Snow White play and Jinwoo cried on stage with joy (and embarrassment from wearing a wig and a gown). 

People were congratulating them and even Seokjae is kind of a little happy deep inside his mean guy heart with the result of the play 

(because hey, he contributed on it too even if it was forced on him).

“Didn't we do that yesterday?” Mino reminds him after taking a request from a freshman girl and from the looks of it has a crush on someone 

because it was pretty obvious from her dedication. “But that was ALL of us from class. I mean, like the five of us or something.” Seunghoon 

explains and Taehyun nods. “I like the sound of that.”. He says, smiling. “Huh? Aren't you busy with the exhibit? That's in like two days, right?” 

Jinwoo asks. “Yes, it is. I'm almost finished with it anyway. Besides, we've been so stressed lately. I think we need some chill.” Taehyun 

explains. “Let's go then. Maybe Seungyoonie here will stop moping if we get some fun in our system.” Mino jokes and Seungyoon elbows 

him. “It’s settled then! We're going out later!” Seunghoon yells excitedly. “We need to finish our shift here first.” Jinwoo says and all but 

Seunghoon who groaned agreed.

“Where will we go?” Seungyoon asked like what they were about to do is the most boring experience ever. “Oh, come on, cheer up a 

bit! Why are you so gloomy? Your gaze could make flowers cry.” Seunghoon replies. “Flowers don't cry. You didn't even answer my 

question.” Seungyoon rolls his eyes as the five of them headed to their destination. “You sound like someone who lost his cat or 

something.” Taehyun comments from behind. “He's so on point at that. Besides, I told you all it was a surprise so it would ruin the 

whole surprise thing if I told you where we will be going.” Seunghoon tells him. “Wait... Are we going to where I think we will be 

going?” Mino asks with a smile on his face. “Ohhh, you know it!” Seunghoon exclaims and Mino nods enthusiastically. 

Exactly two minutes of walk, Jinwoo sees a glimpse of an abandoned building. “Are we going there?” Jinwoo asks. “You bet.” 

Seunghoon smiles. “I should have known.” Seungyoon, who looks so emo awhile ago, is smiling a bit too. “So what is this place?” 

Taehyun asks. “It was basically abandoned and we used to go here whenever we want to have fun or just go away from everything 

else. This is our secret base.” Mino grins. “Yep. And we wanna share it with you guys.” Seunghoon adds. “Ohh, so what are we 

gonna do here?” Jinwoo asks again as he looked around. “Well, we can do hide and seek first.” Mino suggests and Seungyoon, 

being the last to react, was the 'it'. 

They all dashed towards different parts of the building as Seungyoon starts to count to ten. They became kids again at that point and 

everyone became a nervous wreck when Seungyoon announced 'ready or not here I come'. Mino who can't contain himself from 

being quiet was the first one Seungyoon sees. Next one was Jinwoo who picked an obvious place to hide (behind an open door). 

All that was left was Seunghoon and Taehyun. Jinwoo and Mino followed Seungyoon as he finds the others. They soon found 

Taehyun under the stairs. Seungyoon rumbles about Seunghoon being the best at hide and seek. They finally saw him couched 

behind a closet in one of the rooms. 

“That was fast...” Seunghoon pouts. “Your skill on hide and seek is getting rusty.” Mino laughs with the rest. Suddenly, Seungyoon 

remembers something. “The old misc room.” Seungyoon whispers. “What?” Taehyun asks and Seungyoon grins so big for the first 

time that day. Seunghoon and Mino mirrored his expression. The three dashed out of the room go go down the stairs and find a 

not-so-empty room. Taehyun and Jinwoo followed suit. Seungyoon grabs the handle of the door and went inside to find old

 instruments they used to play. He of course grabbed the guitar. “Shall we?” Seungyoon asks. All of them nodded and they all 

headed to the rooftop. 

They sat on the edge of the building. It's scary for a moment when you first let your feet dangle but it gets comforting after some time. 

Seungyoon starts to play a song once they were all settled. They all sang to it and everyone was so happy at that moment. It was 

somehow fun yet relaxing just to stare out to the busy streets far away and sing your heart out at the same time. Taehyun thinks 

he's lucky to meet the three new friends in that place and Jinwoo feels the same. The three natives of the place was glad too. If 

Taehyun and Jinwoo didn't come to their tiny town, it would be all different. Their smiles at each other told that, silently. Taehyun 

captured all those moments with his camera and his heart.

Taehyun then offers to buy them ice cream after they spent quite some time on the building and the others agreed because who 

rejects free food? Jinwoo tells him that he will help him hold the ice creams. They both shared an 'it was fun, yeah?' smiles on their 

way to the nearby convenience store who sells ice cream on cones. Taehyun thinks it was so much fun and he even caught some 

of the greatest things that happened today on his camera. There was no doubt in his mind that he will use it on his exhibit. Like 

Seunghoon embarrassing himself in front of a lady on their way to the building and Jinwoo trying to act all tough when they teased 

him that he looks too cute for it. 

Taehyun and Jinwoo return to where the others were sitting outside the building. They saw Seungyoon was standing, his head hung 

low. There is someone there with them.

Taehyun thinks that 'fun' ended when Mino's eyes went wide with recognition though. Because the stranger in front of them cried, 

saying his apologies within hiccups. Taehyun thinks it's better to keep quiet.
