Taehyun wants to just collapse. He was worrying about Jinwoo so much he can feel his hands fidgeting inside his pockets.

Then Mino's hand would brush against his shoulder as he holds the umbrella up and would bring him back to the reality of rain,

umbrellas and walk you home. Taehyun's mind is screaming but outside, their walk was silent and is only accompanied by the

sound of rain hitting the ground. Taehyun almost breaks when he felt Mino look at him. He remembers the conversation about

the other students about him. That Mino is somehow a 'bad guy'. Taehyun should be worried, but he's not. "So, why did you

take that picture of me?" Mino asks, hoping for a normal conversation. "I don't know. I just did. I like keeping the things I like

through photographs'' Taehyun said, the words flowing. 'Now why the hell did I reply that?' he thinks, mentally scolding

himself. "Oh, I see... how long have you been here?" Mino asks again. "Mmm... about a week." Taehyun replied. He's

thanking every fiber of his being that he's not stumbling over his words. "Why?" Mino said all of a sudden and Taehyun

turned to him. "What why?" Taehyun asked. "Why did you choose to live here instead?" Mino clarifies and Taehyun smiled

a bit. "I guess, I just want to know what's out here. Explore life, you know." Taehyun curls his lips more and turns to Mino.

Mino stares at him. Like really stares at him. "Beautiful." Mino whispered and Taehyun looks at him. "What...beautiful?"

he managed to ask after a long silence. Mino turns away. "I think that what you said was beautiful. I mean,  I would never

once think of that." Mino explains with a smile as they continue walking. Now, Taehyun's mind only repeats one thing.

Beautiful.

Jinwoo steps on the front porch and rang the doorbell. He spent half an hour finding the address which is four blocks away

from their school. Jinwoo sighs then waited. A smiling face welcomed him. "Oh hello there, come  in, come in." the woman

told him "Sit down, dear. I'm pretty sure you're here for Seungyoon. I'm his mother by the way. Mrs. Oh already called

informing me of your visit. It's so nice to meet you. What's your name?" Mrs. Kang smiles at Jinwoo who smiled

warmly in return. "Oh, I'm Kim Jinwoo. It's nice to meet you too, Mrs. Kang. I'm the class representative so Mrs. Oh asked me

to come here." Jinwoo explains, smiling brightly. "Would you like something? Coffee? How about some tea?" she offers

Jinwoo but he politely declined. "I see, he's upstairs. He doesn't leave his room so just go in there." Mrs. Kang says. "Oh,

and Jinwoo, please don't give up on him. And I really appreciate you being here." she smiles and something inside Jinwoo

tightens. "I won't. I promise." Jinwoo replies, assuring her. He turns to the stairs and took a deep breath. Well, this has to

go well.

Jinwoo stares at the large 'KEEP OUT' sign in front of this Kang Seungyoon's room. Typical rebellious teenager style. Jinwoo

knocks three times. "I am not hungry, mum." the voice inside the room said. "Uhh, I'm not your mum." Jinwoo awkwardly

replies. He heard a crash, a bang and a series of footsteps. The door finally swung open. "Hi!" Jinwoo greets with a grin. He

was faced with a frown. "Who the hell are you? And why the hell are you here?" the guy- Kang Seungyoon - asks rudely and

that's when Jinwoo frowns too. "You don't have to be that rude. I'm here to ask you to come to school tomorrow." Jinwoo 

pouts at him."Your mother would love it if you do." he adds in almost a whisper. "No." Seungyoon's answered with a huff.

He moves to close the door but Jinwoo's feet stopped him. "Just... please? It's for you too." Jinwoo pleads only to receive

a mocking laughter. "I don't need someone like you telling me what to do." Seungyoon said, the door out of his grasp now.

They stood there looking into each other's eyes. One is determined to do something, the other with a tired gaze. "You're

a nice kid, so now go. You don't want to be involved in someone like me." Seungyoon said again, this time with exhaustion

in his voice, like he's giving up. "Well, at least you can try changing what is keeping me from being a friend to help you."

Jinwoo says before letting himself down the stairs. 

Jinwoo sees Mrs. Kang nervously waiting at the sofa. He gave her a small smile. "So, how did it go?" Mrs. Kang asked,

fidgeting."It was... okay, I guess. I'll be here tomorrow morning. I promised I won't give up on him, right?" Jinwoo's smile

is more confident now. She thanked him and led him to the front door, both of the oblivious to the presence of Seungyoon

at the stairs, watching. He wants to go and tell them he's sorry. But he turned away and went to his room, scribbling in his

notebook the things he wants to actually say. Meanwhile, Jinwoo peeks a last glance at the window, covered by curtains.

Jinwoo doesn't have a single clue on what to do with this Kang Seungyoon but there's something in those tired eyes that

makes him want to know the guy more. Maybe it's Mrs. Kang's words earlier, or his want to take some responsibility from

now on. But Jinwoo thinks some more, and maybe its that small spark of hope in Seungyoon's eyes when he stared at 

him that made him make his decision.

He's going to drag Seungyoon's to school whether he likes it or not.

"Wait here." Mino said, giving the umbrella to Taehyun who's surprised at the sudden words. "Wha...Wait up!" Taehyun

shouts after Mino who ran towards a corner. "What are you doing? You might catch a cold running into the rain like that!"

Taehyun scolds as he caught up with Mino. Taehyun can't help that 'motherly instincts' (as what Jinwoo would like to call

it) even if it means it's the boy that makes his heart race who's in the equation. "I'm sorry. I just saw this runt, looking sad

and wet." Mino chukles and smiles up to Taehyun who's holding the umbrella towards him. Taehyun looked at what Mino's

hoolding and indeed saw a cat who's practically drenched from the rain. "We need to take care of him!" Mino adds as he 

scratchs the head of the cat who cutely purrs at the touch. "Okay." Taehyun agrees. What else can he do? Mino's looking

at him with pleading eyes at the moment. Taehyun's mind is stupid sometimes. "Let's take him to my house, then." 

Taehyun offers. 'See? Stupid.' Taehyun scolds himself as the made their way towards Jinwoo's and his flat. But Mino's

smile is from ear to ear along the way and Taehyun entertains the thought of maybe it's alright to be a little bit stupid

sometimes.

Taehyun opens the door to their flat. The lights were still off so Jinwoo probably isn't there yet. It made the worry inside

Taehyun spark again. But Mino poking him on his back and his voice asking 'Can I come in?' and his smile made those 

worries dissappear a little tiny bit. "Yeah, sure. Of course, you can come in." Taehyun stutters, for the first time. Maybe it's

because of the fact that Mino is wet and he's alone with him (aside from the cat that is) in his home. Mino removes his

shoes and stepped inside. He looked around with curious eyes. "It's a nice place you got here." Mino comments and Taehyun

cracks a small smile of gratitude because he won't trust his voice when his eyes is trailing down a droplet of water rolling

down Mino's neck. "You're wet." And there it is, Taehyun's stupidity. Mino looks at himself, with the cat on his arms,

"Would you be kind enough to lend me a shirt or something?" Mino asks. Taehyun nods. He went inside his room and

pressed his back against the door to collect himself. "Oh my god, Nam Taehyun, what's up with you?" Taehyun asks himself.

He shakes his head and rummaged through his closet for a shirt that would fit Mino. After a minute, he found one and went

outside to give it to Mino who's playing with the cat and Taehyun wants to take a photo of it, only Mino is coming towards

him with a smile ('Will he stop smiling like that?' Taehyun thinks, feeling his heart race again.). "Here it is." Taehyun handed

the shirt. Mino asks Taehyun to hold the cat for a bit for him. Taehyun took it, of course, and pets the ginger cat that leans

in to his touch. He almost appreciate the cat but then, that's when Mino decided it's okay to remove his wet shirt in front

of Taehyun. The poor boy turned away quickly feeling his cheeks heat up. After a few seconds, Taehyun finally had the

guts to look over Mino. Luckily, he's got the shirt on. "Here's the cat." Taehyun hands him the tiny animal. "I'm gonna

go get some milk for him." he said, rushing towards the kitchen to prepare something. He finds an old bowl and a milk

carton and pour some. He soon finds Mino and the cat playing on the carpet in the middle of the living room and Mino

is clearly enjoying himself. "I'm gonna name him Nam. After you." Mino says. Taehyun placed the milk in front of the cat

and sat besie Mino. "Really. Why me?" Taehyun asks, grinning as he looks at the cat whose happily drinking his milk.

"Well, you look like a cat. The only thing missing is those cat ears and all that." Mino replied, gesturing 'cat ears' as he

spoke to emphasize his point. "I don't look like one." Taehyun protests, though it's a little half-heartedly done. "You do."

Mino argues. They both chuckle a little and Taehyun likes it. "I heard our classmates talking about you." Taehyun starts.

"Bad things, I guess." Mino sighs, but he did gave a small smile. "They said you participated in gang wars." Taehyun

imformed him. "And you let me inside your home knowing that?" Mino looks at Taehyun in disbelief. "I pity the cat. He's

the reason I let you in." Taehyun tells him and Mino laughs. You know that hearty laugh where his head rolls back and

Taehyun wants to keep a picture of Mino for the second time that day. "But really, why do people say bad things about

you?" Taehyun asks. A short silence filled the room. "Maybe because I used to be one?" Mino asked back with a 

smile. Taehyun was about to say something but the cat suddenly ran towards his room. Mino followed suit and soon

did Taehyun. 

Mino's jaw dropped as he sees Taehyun's room. The wall is filled with different photos: of different people doing what they

normally do, sceneries that only nature can give and personal ones like Jinwoo choosing which flavor of ice cream he 

should get. Taehyun stood by the door awkwardly. "This is amazing!" Mino brsts out with a blinding grin. He looks at 

Taehyun with amused eyes, like a child. "It's not." Taehyun replies and Mino rolls his eyes. "Quit it. This is sick." Mino

dismissed Taehyun's protests and look through hundreds of pictures tucked on the wall. "I see... this is the picture of me

taken by you. It was raining that time too. You even let your umbrella fall just to take that one picture." Mino recalls and

Taehyun is sure his face got a full-on blush by now. "It's because I... just.... kind of...uh..thought that a picture of a

stranger like you would fit my um...collection of photographs...I guess." Taehyun lets out. "I feel honored." Mino says.

He looks at Taehyun and he sees that the other boy is not believing him. Mino picks up the cat who's purring against

his ankles. "No, really. This... this is something really beautiful. And I like the idea of being a part of it. I'm serious, you

know? You should really join the photography club at school. Your work is just...stunning." Mino said and Taehyun looks

at him and Mino can see that he's weighing if he should believe him or not. "Honest." Mino adds for emphasis. Taehyun

gives a smile. "Thank you." Taehyun said, and its sincerity reached Mino. And Mino liked it. 

They went back to the living room with the cat, Nam, and talked about things, sipping on hot chocolates prepared byTaehyun.

Taehyun thinks he would love to be one of Mino's friends. Mino thinks the same for Taehyun. As inutes pass by, a knock

on the door came. Taehyun stood up, remembering that Jinwoo is still not in plain sight. In his relief it was his best friend

standing outside the door. "What happened?" Taehyun asked. "Well, it was okay." Jinwoo replies. "Oh, I see we have a

guest. I'm Kim Jinwoo by the way. Thanks for keeping Taehyun's company. Wait....did I interrupt something?" Jinwoo asks,

turning to Taehyun with questioning yet mischievous eyes. "No." Taehyun said flatly. "I'm Song Mino. It was nice to meet

you." Mino says with a smile. "Mmm...don't break my Taehyunie's heart." Jinwoo replies and Taehyun wants to kill him

right there. Mino laughs and pets the cat in his arms. "I promise I won't. But I really need to get going. My cousin would

go crazy if i go home late again." Mino excused himself. Taehyun accomapnies him outside to the gate. "Sorry about

Jinwoo." Taehyun says, looking down. "It's okay, you know. I need to go now. It was really nice meeting you, Taehyun.

And of course, your cat counterpart, Nam." He replied, gushing at the cat in his arms. "it was nice meeting you. And

him too." Taehyun smiles, letting his hands fall on top of the cat's head. "Good bye, then." Mino says, waving a bit.

"Bye." Taehyun returns. 

Taehyun turns around but he hears it.

"See you tomorrow!" Mino shouts and Taehyun turned to see Mino jumping up and down, waving his arms. Taehyun laughs.

He guess he's not the only stupid one. "See you too!" Taehyun shouts back. And as Taehyun went back inside, he finds

Jinwoo smirking at him.
