“Hello? Jungshin?”

“Jonghyun-hyung….”

“Yeah…?”

“What’s up, Jungshin?”

Jungshin hesitantly presses the disconnect button, then turns his phone off. The screen turns into a jet black. It looks as blank as his mind right now, and as empty as his heart.

I miss you. Jungshin murmurs.

I miss you. Jungshin murmurs; one hand covers his eyes while the other keeps on thumping his chest in order to stop waves of unwanted feelings from being thrown up.

I miss you. The last  sound continues to hum, somewhat turns into a choke.

Few hours of silence passed, then Jungshin turns on his phone again, only to find that Jonghyun has left him with one missed call and one voice message. He listens; his voice is mixed between anger and worry. Why are you being so strange. Jonghyun finishes the mail with a hiss.

I’m sorry. My phone suddenly went out of battery. I was wondering if we could go eat out today.

Such an eccedentesiast. He smirks at himself, pressing the deliver button.
