CHAPTER 8

 “Jiyong ah, what are you doing?” Kwon Boa, Jiyong’s only biological older sister sighed as she placed  her hand on his shoulder. “Now that Taeyeon is back, what do you plan to do?” Boa continued as she glanced over to see Taeyeon laughing with Jessica and Choi Seunghyun

“Honestly, I have no idea noona. The only thing I want to do is just simply stay by her side. Hoping one day maybe she can regain her memories.” Jiyong could only fake a smile.  

“What if she can never remember who you are? And what the two of you once were? She is no longer the Taeyeon you know Ji. Are you sure being with her is what is best for you?” Boa clearly stated the facts that Jiyong have been denying since the first time he saw Taeyeon.

He knew it was wishful thinking.

“ 6 years ago, she was taken away from me and now miraculously fate brought us together again in an arranged marriage. I should at least try right?” Jiyong’s eyebrow creased as his gaze softened while he looked at the breathtaking view of his fiancé.

“Taeyeon is the only thing certain in my life noona.”

“I really wish for you to be happy Ji, more than anything.” Boa placed her hand on Jiyong’s cheek.

Boa was Jiyong’s lighthouse.

More than an older sister, Boa was like a mother to Jiyong.

Their mother was always miserable over their father’s affairs with other women that she did not have time for her two children, so Boa was the one who coddled Jiyong when the young Jiyong yearned affection from his absent parents.

She attended all Jiyong’s piano recitals,

She would always fly over to celebrate Jiyong’s birthday
