The almost melodic mixture of beeps and gentle snores was abruptly interrupted by the sound of approaching feet, causing the concerned mother to raise her head from the cradle of her hands. Her gut was twisted into knots with worry, her eyes red and puffy from tears, the usually proud woman now ignorant of her unkempt hair as she stood to face the doctor awaiting the results. Greeting her briefly he gestured to the nearby chairs, sitting himself opposite her and running his hand through his thinning ,ebony hair, he began, “Mrs Lee…” he paused unsure how to tell a mother such news , “Donghae isn’t suffering from any illness we may have suspected.” A small sigh of relief escaped her lips though the look of distress remained in her eyes,

“There’s a ‘but’ isn’t there?” she asked knowingly.

“I’m afraid so,” Dr Jung continued, “We are unable to stop Donghae experiencing these fits of intense pain he seems to have developed over the years, simply because they aren’t anything curable. It appears he is one of the unlucky few who happen to have Cruciatus inter duo.” Mrs Lee let out a strangled sob, attempting to muffle it with a shaking hand.

“So his soul mate is –is being… beaten?” 

So this is my first ever romantic fic! 

The idea seemed good but I mightve bitten off more than I can chew, let's just see how it goes :)
