“You’re like a big baby Jimin, get off me.” Taehyung scorns but not with a bite. His voice is tender, like the sun to the moon with his shadow, like a star to the chart that aligns together, like a mother’s to a child, like a lover’s to one.

“Umnhhff…..no....” Jimin muffles under his breath as he smiles to his silly thoughts. There is too much comfort in this Jimin thinks as he swings his right leg higher onto Taehyung’s almost bringing himself to sit on the boy's lap but he settles just right beside him, very, very close as Jimin nuzzles his nose right below Taehyung’s ear, his right hand clasping tightly across Taehyung’s abdomen and Jimin breathes in contentedly. Tae’s here.

Taehyung chuckles lightly at the endearing sight. Jimin has always been clingy with him, with everyone actually. But he likes to think Jimin is a little closer to him and gets extra needy when they’re both together alone, and that even when they are people around, he likes to think that, the hands brushing against each other is just another way of Jimin saying don’t go too far from me or that their legs nudging under the table during dinner means I don’t want to sleep alone tonight.

Taehyung feels a hot breath on his neck and frowns a little, looking down upon Jimin. He brings his hand to touch Jimin’s forehead pushes over the little hair on the fringe making the latter tilts upwards just a tad, lips curves but eyes still closes, swallowing the attention he gets from Taehyung, and Taehyung can’t help but brushes his lips slightly along Jimin’s temple whispering soft murmurs–

like a lullaby, Jimin thinks silly again.

“Jungkook’s right Jimin, you’re burning up badly.”

Jimin instantly opens his eyes to level with Taehyung’s. He takes no heed of the comment but then looks down upon his legs, thighs specifically, as Jimin nudges Taehyung left hand onto his right thigh.

“Taehyung ah…it hurts.” Jimin pleads like Taehyung’s the only savior to this cruel cruel world. Well, the world is kind of cruel right now Jimin thinks. He shouldn’t be sick at this moment, but he is, so Jimin takes that comfort in and shoves out any thoughts of being thoughtless because right now, right now, he just wants to be selfish for once.

“You sprained your ankle Jimin, not your thigh.” Taehyung laughs in miniature.

Jimin pouts and blinks his eyes a few times, and Taehyung thinks he sees them glistening with tears. No.

Almost immediately, Taehyung wipes those watery eyes and pulls Jimin into a hug. His hands clasp tightly around Jimin’s neck making Jimin coughs, and almost at that instant too, Taehyung releases.

“Sorry, uh.. I panicked. You know I hate it when you cry like that.” Taehyung dimples, feeling a bit embarrassed at his own sudden reaction.

And Jimin grins wide
