Jimin’s phone rings about ten minutes later. He can hear the heavy pants and sighs that couple together as Jimin answers, he doesn’t even need to look at the caller. It’s Seokjin hyung.

“I’m sorry Jimin, but we’re going to have to move to the other side of the quarter, our plane got delayed and they got us another one, well, obviously everyone from the previous flight altogether, they’re putting us on a different plane, cos you know, the frostbite thing something’s wrong with the engine, but like, don't tell Yoongi about it, he’ll freak out. Where the hell is he anyway?? I swear– and Namjoon. Where’s Namjoon? Let me talk to him.”

Seokjin is talking too fast for Jimin’s hearing; he only catches the last sentences.

“Namjoon hyung… he’s getting me water. Hyung…hyung, I…I finished eating, the porridge is so good!”

Jimin tries to sound as cheerful as he can to convey the message. He can hear Seokjin chuckles on the other side of the line and Jimin holds the thought that slips in unconditionally. Why do I miss that laugh already.

“Of course, you big baby. Thank you very much for finishing it, sigh I have to go. Jungkook still has some stuff to be taken care of, can you believe what that boy did with his passport?? The guts he has–”

Seokjin’s voice was cut by some muffling and utterings Jimin hears in the background and he knows that Jungkook is probably spitting a few words that are not nice in Seok
