"Did you make it downstairs fine?" Hayi's mom shouted down the steps mocking her daughters clumsy ways.    "If you did not here me scream then yup I made it fine mama!" She yelled back up and walked away from the steps heading into the basement area. Everyone's face lit up, they hadn't seen her for months, some even years, she was either busy or they were.  Some of them lived in Jeju and some just got in from America, studying abroad or living there and visiting for this week.    "How have you been?" Her youngest cousin, Jane, asked her.   "I've been amazing! Having fun as per usual." She smiled widely and ruffled her hair before taking her shoes off, not really caring since it was family after all.    "Let's play a game while we wait!" Hayi looked up at her cousin, he was pretty tall compared to the rest of the smaller people in the room including herself.     "Sit down and we'll play jeez!" He laughed and sat down next to her kicking her with his feet. "try me." she punched his side and crossed her arms waiting for the games instructions.    "You've always been small and aggressive, the public eye never sees it." He glared and smiled after joking as they usually do.   "Let's play checkers." Everyone looked at him and laughed before nodding immediately. It seemed fun especially if t was a tournament. There was a lot of cousins after all. "Bring your board hayi." She nodded and stood up heading to the stairs.   "you guys want anything else? snacks? drinks?"   "If you can get some down here past your mom then sure." They grinned and nodded up at the stairs. Hayi scoffed and accepted the challenge. Now the only issue was getting everything in her arms without dropping anything or causing any type of scene.    "Hayi-ah...where are you going? What happened to your shoes?" her aunt looked at the macaroni that she was doing her best to perfect, following the ingredients that lay next to her. She peeked up and straight back to food.    "I'm getting my checkerboard." She smiled and looked in the cabinet next to the fridge before sliding over and slowly opened the door making sure to hum to block out any noise that would signal a fridge.  She picked up a few drinks and held the snacks, chips and some fruits in her arms carefully. "Yah! Lee Hayi!" Her eyes widened before she took off towards the basements steps.    "Save yourselves!" Hayi threw the items down carefully while she still had time and her cousin was at the steps catching things. "Ma!" She was pulled away and hit gently with the spoon on her legs.    "Dinner is almost ready you couldn't wait?" She bit her lip and grimaced from the small stings, her mom smiled and hugged her while Hayi smiled back.    "Sorry, we were a bit hungry, it's taking too long."   "Well we will be done I'm sure in thirty minutes." Hayi pouted and grabbed the board along with the pieces while walking down the steps setting everything down and rubbing her leg. "It's always that spoon, dang spoon." She sat down and pushed her slightly messy hair back.   "Who's first?" Hayi looked around and waited for an answer.   "I'll g--"    "Dinners ready!" Her cousin Haneul looked up towards the direction of the voice and flipped the already set up board over creating a distraction.   "Not fair!" Everyone groaned and ran after him carefully stepping over the possibly dangerous checkers pieces, at least, it wasn't chess.    "You are so annoying!" Areum pinched the side of his stomach and sat down at the table while everyone else started getting their plates ready. She decided on waiting till everyone else was finished.    "I'll get your plate Areum." Hayi smiled and pulled both plates down as she stepped on her tiptoes. "Here."   "Thanks Hi."   "No problem."    The family sat down, some at the table, mainly the adults at the table whereas the younger ones, most still in their teens and one just hitting the age of twenty-one. The talked of new and old events that happened back in America and Hayi talked about the struggles of creating her album, which would soon be coming out.    "Are you worried?" Areum looked at Hayi from him plate questioning the subject of comebacks.   "You are talking about Taemin right?" She smiled and shook her head.   "I'm not exactly worried because I'm out to do it for fun, that is my purpose of music, I mean of course I take it seriously and do wish for good feedback but it shouldn't exactly be about the competition. It's happened before. I went again SHINee and other amazing artists. I would like to win but if I don't it is perfectly fine." Her cousins laughed and smiled at her response.   "All we need now is a microphone and some cameras. Such an idol response." Haneul chuckled and earned himself another glare.    "Whatever! Yo
