A/N: Just a little explanation to clarify some info I haven't properly mentioned: Tao, Taeyeon and Sehun, Chanyeol and Baekyun go to the same school. Minzy, Kai, Luhan are friends from the Japanese school.

Taeyeon couldn't believe her ears. She stared at Minzy with slightly hung open in amazement.

'Did you have more to drink than you thought?' She immediately reached forward and touched Minzy's face to see if it was hot. 'Do you even know what you're saying right now?'

'I'm not drunk, if that's what you think.' Minzy shook her head in amusement. 

'Tao swore it would take you AGES to bring up Sehun in that context.' Taeyeon stifled a laugh. 'Why the sudden curiousity? You've never been curious before. Or at least...you've never openly shown it.'

'I don't know.. Just before, he asked me to stay over.' Minzy scratched her head.  'That means something right?'

'No , sherlock.' Chanyeol appeared out of nowhere, placing himself next to Minzy. 'You like the guy too don't you?'

'Um...I guess so?' Minzy shrugged lightly and gulped her drink down. 'He's definitely..unique.'

'Daebak. I can't believe we're getting you to talk about Sehun still.' Taeyeon looked at Minzy in awe. 'I wish my phone wasn't dead. I wanna record this.'

'What? Record Minzy saying she thinks Sehun is unique?' Chanyeol scoffed. 'Just say you like him like a normal girl!' He was feeling a little frustrated.

'Minzy ISN'T a normal girl!' Taeyeon retorted, then widened her eyes, giving Minzy an apologetic smile. 'That came out weirdly. And Chanyeol stop offending her!'

'Nope, I'm not offended at all.' Minzy chuckled at her friend's strange banter. 'Yoda here is just the type of guy who doesn't understand girls.' She smirked while lightly pinching one of Chanyeol's ears. Minzy and Taeyeon couldn't help but laugh and point at his noticeably redder face and angry frown.

'Shut up! I do know girls. I've had relationships before okay?!' Chanyeol barked.

'Gee. Then I wonder why you're single right now?' Taeyeon teased some more and cracked up laughing with Minzy again.

'WHATEVER!' Chanyeol huffed loudly, silencing both girls who tried to hide their smiles. 'The point is Minzy, you have no idea how much Sehun wants you to be his girlfriend. Okay?'

'...Really?' Minzy stared between Taeyeon and Chanyeol who both nodded in unison. 'Isn't this like platonic love?'

'No, Sehun really does want you to be his girlfriend, but you being the person you are, makes him lose confidence because he's not sure how you actually see him.' Taeyeon explained, being a little bit more serious. 'So how DO you see him? Do you like him?'

'Define like.' Minzy said, making Chanyeol let out a frustrated groan. He was almost at his limits to how clueless Minzy was.

'FAR OUT!' Chanyeol chucked his arms up in the air. ' We mean. Do you always find yourself THINKING ABOUT HIM? Do you ever want to know what he's doing when HE'S NOT WITH YOU? 'Is he the FIRST PERSON YOU GO TO when you're both happy and sad? Does HIS FACE always come to mind when you want to tell someone something funny?!' He spat in Minzy's face, over dramatically yelling.

'Let me think.' Minzy wasn't phased very much at Chanyeol's outburst as she tapped her chin slowly. 'Most of the time, sometimes, Usually, and Yes. Now what does that mean?' She tilted her head in wonder. 

'I swear. I am so done with this girl.' Chanyeol covered his face with his hands, shaking his head at Minzy. 'Taeyeon, fix it.'

'I think that's a good enough answer, considering it's Minzy.' Taeyeon nodded her head. 'The rest is up to Sehun, whether he has the courage or not. And also whether you accept him or not.'

'I'm still not sure why he wants me as a girlfriend though. I'm not exactly...ideal.' Minzy scratched her head awkwardly.

'And that's why he likes you. Because you're not the usual type of girl he'd go for.' Taeyeon shook her now empty bottle and stood up. 'More drinks, anyone?' 

'Yeah! Let's move over to the other room. Someone started drawing the most hilarious all over Baek, and now everyone's doing it.' Chanyeol jumped up as soon as he heard the word 'drinks'. The three made their way over to the more livelier section of the party where all the drinks were.

'Oh, that was Tao.' Taeyeon commented, grabbing a stack of shot glasses from the table.

'Let's round up a couple of others.' Taeyeon scanned her head in all directions of the room, looking for people who weren't already in groups playing games and whatnot.

She spotted Kai and Luhan near the kitchen, snacking on leftover food, as well as Seulgi and Wendy (friends from school) chatting at the couch opposite the one Baekhyun occupied. She called them over to help with with drinks and join in.

'Can I sit out for this one?' Minzy looked nervously at the bottle of spirits (spirits refers to alcohol with strong concentration. E.g Tequila, vodka) taken out from the drinks corner by Luhan.

'Oh come on, it'll be fun!' Chanyeol gave Minzy's back a slap, trying to loosen her up.

'Oh yeah. Aren't you driving home tonight?' Luhan asked nonchalantly as he took the shot glasses out of Taeyeon's hands. 'I thought I saw your car packed outside when I got here.'

'Well I already drank, thanks to Kai.' Minzy replied, not noticing the discreet smile Kai had on his face but it disappeared with the next thing she said. 'And besides, Sehun made me promise to stay over.'

'Hm. Maybe I should crash tonight too.' Kai suggested, casually shrugging his shoulders and Taeyeon couldn't help but scowl at how forward and self inviting he was. Sure, all the friends that attended Japanese classes got along, but Kai was always a little ahead of himself.

'Did you even ASK Sehun if you could?' Luhan frowned. He was the angel in everyone's eyes. He was Kai's best friend and was the more pleasant out of the pair. 'I got us a ride home anyway man.'

'Yeah. Besides, didn't you say earlier tonight you wanted to leave before 2 ?' Chanyeol asked, recalling a conversation he had earlier with the guy. Kai subconsciously groaned at this, and Taeyeon couldn't help but smile to herself in triumph.

It was actually only her and Tao (who also knew besides Sehun) that Kai was into Minzy. And said girl was just told that aswell.

'Can we get started?' Seulgi wasn't quite grasping the conversation since she was merely a classmate of theirs and didn't know half the people standing around.

'Yeah yeah let's play a game!!' Wendy, who had been drinking all night cheered. 'By the way, I'm Wendy.' She introduced herself to Kai, Luhan and Minzy who also exchanged their pleasantries.

3 HOURS LATER

It was a simple game of cards that turned into a huge sculling shots game whenever somebody lost. Most of the guests had left by this point. Fortunately with the game, Minzy along with Seulgi, Wendy and Luhan rarely lost and were able to stay sober enough. By this point, Chanyeol and Taeyeon had already passed out, with Chanyeol literally having his body lie half on the floor and half on Baekhyun's legs, and Taeyeon having the other couch to herself.

Kai was one who also kept losing but didn't pass out, instead being loud and giggly. The game pretty much stopped when he carelessly spilled several of his drinks on the floor and Luhan forced him to clean up. When Kai refused like a baby, Wendy offered to help Luhan clean up. Seulgi couldn't help but share with Minzy that she noticed those two hit it off well.
