Rena

I rubbed my tired eyes as my skin felt rough and my body felt without energy. I was placed in the same room I had fell asleep in…It was a abandoned building, I was unknown to what it had been before. It was run down, made out of not so tough walls. The wounds on my body were slightly scabbed over but barely, and the skin around them still stung and itched. 

I didn’t want to move out of my current place and I didn’t want to stay in the same place.

I stared for awhile up at the ceiling, the ceiling that appeared like a caving in roof…I couldn’t think of anything at all, my mind was blank, I used my mind so much that it was barely running, the gears were done grinding and they were creating sparks, halting to a stop. My eyes flickered after I turned my head to glance at Jurina beside me…..her facial expression was so soft….her guard was finally down but not for long…it’s like everything has a expiration date on them…these certain things turn sour…but people still try to taste them, only to find out that they were to late to experience everything……things can’t last forever, they won’t last forever. 

while examining Jurina’s features……I noticed… that she was slightly mature looking, she wasn’t cute…but pretty…she looked liked she was 20 or so…but as rumored…she was quite young. And I-….

before I could continue thinking to myself….the young female opened , while eyes still shut, “stop staring at me..” she whispered out harshly as her eyebrows furrowed, still refusing to open her eyes. 

I stopped my thought session, my mind grew blank again, covered by a new sheet. “ah?” was all I could whisper with a soft voice as my facial expression was appearing dumbfounded. “ah…sorry.” I softly nodded my head as I turned over to the other side of my body, facing my soft back to Jurina, as I was turning, it was a slow, non-hurriedly turn. I grew uncomfortable over this situation but I tried my best not to worry about this sort of thing, I still have to worry about ways to save my skin.

"It’s fine….just….don’t do it again.."

I nodded to Jurina’s command as I soon finished it with a pleasing yes. I clenched my fists shut, glancing around the room, taking everything in, all at the same time…..then I realized….we can’t stay here for long. I widened my eyes slightly as they immediately turned to their normal size as I sat up and turned to look at jurina quickly. She still didn’t look like she was in a good state, as gashes were only wrapped in cloth I had found laying around this building….I have to find others that will help us, but avoid being killed. “Jurina, who was all in this event, give me name age and personality, anything you know.” I quickly demanded as my eyes were obviously showing my hunger for information, waiting for her to fill me on it. 

She paused for moments before speaking as she inhaled heavily and stayed still, with eyes still closed. she groaned before speaking as well as a sign that she was processing everyone’s information. “umm….Miyazawa Sae her age is…let’s see…24…shes quite nice, forgiving actually…shes full of ambition and honesty, but if you get in the way of her goal, she won’t hesitate to break you….then you have Kashiwagi Yuki….shes really emotional, as much as she doesn’t like to show it…she’s one of those awkward girls, she tall and says odd things, she down to earth thoug-” Before I let her finish the word and continue with others, I lunged upwards to my knees then to my feet. “okay, I’ll be back, try to be safe……. ” I quickly glanced around to find something that would barricade the door shut and something she could protect herself with. I successfully found a long metal bar along with Jurina’s silver knife. I sprinted over to one of the doors to barricade it, this door I was shutting, was visible to the public but the other was covered by vines and leaves. I then scurried to Jurina to hand her the knife, I softly crouched down on my knees once more and placed the knife in Jurina’s left hand. The only thing that was lighting up the room was wide cracks placed in the roof. Jurina inhaled as she softly opened her eyes and looked up at me, it wasn’t a harsh glare, it was look that was pleading something from me but I didn’t identify it correctly and quickly enough. “don’t take long..” she snarled at me as a growl followed. She looked away as I nodded once more to answer her. I instantly stood up and began to head for the hidden door, I have to find Kashiwagi Yuki. 

Mayu

I don’t know what to do anymore…I don’t know who to trust anymore…..those hallucinations really messed with me, I was being a fool for falling for them. I closed my eyes as I sat silently….listening to the silence nature offered me, surrounding me with warmth and kindness. The sunlight touched my skin with such care……..as I opened my eyes, only to have horrible, terrifying flash backs of earlier times. My body and mind suddenly fell into this sudden state where my body locked into a stiff position and my cheeks burnt with distant pain. My eyes widened slightly as I viewed what had happened over the years involving my “parents”. Did they love me? did they even wan’t me around? I’m sure….i’m sure that they just used me for extra things, i’m not special to them.

I snarled to myself as I looked down at my feet…..my brown boots were beginning to ware out, peppered by a few rips and marks. I couldn’t help but to feel vulnerable and worthless at this point, but once I also feel powerful and secure at the same time. I stood up, pushing the bottom of my boots to the floor, then beginning to walk in a unknown direction armed with all sorts of hand held weapons I had collected from the first time I entered this place. I was actually looking for trouble, it was either kill or be killed at this point, and it was obvious which one I wanted to be. 

My dark brown eyes were lifeless as they scanned the city I was entering now, my small hands were tucked in my pockets as I had a sour expression on my face, computer generated people stared at me with curious faces. I was ready to kill, I was ready to be hunted, and ready to throw my life away. People are truly sick beings, trapping us in a dome, forcing us to slaughter one another, friends or not….but I, of course, refuse to care.

After a while of thinking to myself about worthless things, I noticed a black haired girl running across the street a little ways in front of me, she was excusing herself for bumping into people as people growled and cursed to them selves softly…..I immediately knew who this player was, it was Matsui Rena, I studied her a long time, she was honestly confusing to me….If I want this game to move forward I need to kill as well. I quickly thought of certain plans as many screens and such crashed themselves into my head, it was the way my mind worked. She would be a fairly easy target, and I suspect shes one to flee if confronted, I should follow her and study her a little more if I plan to neutralize her. I suddenly began to move in a oblivious motion as I kept my noise down and my figure not so obvious, I stared her down as she hadn’t turn around at all to notice, this dome was a very small place and it was easy to find others. I swiftly began to shuffle faster and faster as she picked up her speed, perhaps she had noticed, or she was just in a hurry. I followed her until she came to a stop at what seemed to be a abandoned building in the middle of the forest, she scanned it but no one was there, I know this because no one came out. She began jogging to other buildings as I followed like a puppy but covered by surroundings. She continued this process of going from building to building until she finally came to hotels and other city like places, by this time it was late at night. She knocked on this particular door where surprisingly it opened, and another surprise for me, Yuki answered the door, this sparked my interest wildly. I hid until finally Yuki came out with certain medical supplies, she either must be smart or she has hook ups from other people……..and I definitely won’t believe the first one.

 I examined the situation closer and closer as Yuki gave her a bag to place the medical supplies in. From this point on I should go to the spot where me and Rena will intertwine paths. I quietly moved into the darkness then moved to my next position. 

I was finally arrived at my destination where Rena suddenly appeared in front of me…..I greeted her with my infamous twisted smirk and devilish looking eyes. She frowned and softly shuddered by my actions. 

"What’s the medical supplies for?" I asked curiously as I raised my right eyebrow and intertwined my arms together. She kept her lips glued together as she only stared at me with frightened eyes, it was obvious. I slowly began to walk closer, closing the gap between us as she stayed in her same position, refusing to move. I stared at her wickedly as I parted my lips. "It won’t matter." I lunged my arm over to grab one of my silver knives, and harshly gripped the end in a odd fashion, I quickly ripped the air in two with my knife as it was traveling towards her as her expression changed to a horrified look. There is no way she could possibly act at this point, the knife plunged into her left arm, causing her skin to part, as red liquid appeared rapidly, a high pitched scream was heard from her as she her finger around the wound, my heart stopped, my heart broke softly through my actions, I want to survive though. I moved closer and gripped another knife, ready to slit but the other gripped the weapon that was pierced in her arm and succeeded to pull it out, and deflect my hit, causing a huge cling to be heard as the metal collided against each other.

My eyes widened…………she actually was brave, but what was more important was that she actually avoided my finishing blow. I gripped the knife in my left hand tighter and flicked my arm to make another injury on her but she had deflected again, I growled at her actions as I ed my knife towards her multiple times, putting all my strength into every blow, the clinging of the knives together created loud clashes. she then deflected all of them while stumbling backwards as I pushed forward. I lifted my right knee and drove it into her stomach, causing her to yelp in pain. I found this pleasing, she had let down her guard…but only for a moment, I should take this into consideration. I smirked at this, I smiled as I forced my hand held weapon into the air, ready to end Matsui Rena’s life, right here. 

Soon…..A loud scream was heard as it roared through the pitch black sky…….but I don’t understand.

My knife didn’t hit anything, instead, my knife only hit the floor as my body followed after it. My slim body clashed against the hard, cold dirt as another body was on top of me, I wasn’t able to identify this other being, I didn’t pay close attention do to the ringing in my head. I stayed on the floor in my position as I felt defeated. I glanced down, this other female was name Jurina. She was a skilled fighter, her danger level is quite normal. I frowned as she continued to lay but attempted to get up from on top of me but failed, it seems she was already injured from something unknown. Rena widened her eyes and stared down at Jurina as her jaw dropped in surprise and astonishment. I soon regained my strength and quickly kicked Jurina from me and landed on my feet and stood up straight, maybe another time I would be able to annihilate her successfully.

"ahh…I was looking forward to killing her to…next time you won’t be able to save her ya know, you won’t always be around……………….have a good night." I smirked and fled from the scene as the darkness swallowed me. Running to my safe house where paruru and yui were hopefully located.

 Jurina

All I could know right now is pain, it was the only thing keeping me conscious at the moment, I whimpered in pain as it pulsed through my body rapidly. I glanced up at Rena with glaring eyes as I growled at her in agony. “I told you to not take long! I told you to be safe!” I shouted loudly at her as she flinched at my shivering voice. She bent down and tried to attend to me at the moment, it was obvious she was uncomfortable by her own injuries but she chose to think nothing of it, all I was paying attention to was the blood oozing out of her arm, she mouthed something but I wasn’t paying attention. “Your arm, don’t care for me, you need help!” I angrily threw myself upwards and covered her arm with my right hand as she whimpered to herself, only for a moment. “I don’t need help, I swear!” she shouted pleadingly as I tried to grab for her bag resting on her back. “shut up, give me the bag.” I demanded as she surrendered, handing me the bag, I liked this submissive side of her, she’s usually stubborn. I opened the bag and found supplies ready for use. I grabbed some disinfectant and other things. Soon I was done with her injury as she exhaled loudly, perhaps she was holding her breath the whole time? She then glanced around us, we were only a few ways away from the abandoned building that we decided to settle down at. Rena frowned as she grabbed at the left over supplies in the bag and decided to help with my wounds that were open again. “What are you doing?” I asked with a questionable look as she looked up at me with a odd facial expression. 

"I’m helping you, now it’s your turn to shut up." she began working quickly. 

We found are way back into the building as we settled down with treated wounds. 

I inhaled softly then soon exhaled as I tried to comfort myself and relax. “You know….your really stupid, you should think more….” I softly frowned, as I only wanted her to be safe. She glared at me as she softly pounded her fists against her knee.

"That’s insulting!"

she scoffed at me as she intertwined her arms with attitude. She closed her eyes and sat up with a straight posture. I couldn’t help but only to find this funny, it made chuckle a little. 

She actually a great person, a good friend.

Yui 

Me and Paruru have been recently been hunting for food that was given to us on the first day of the event, by hunting I mean stealing food from the “originals.” it’s a nickname me, Paruru and Mayu came up with for the 3 that were placed in this game with us, the 3 that won this game multiple times before us. It’s odd though, the other one, Nako, isn’t with the other two, as expected, she usually lures people into her group, then kills them off, she works alone I guess you could say. Stealing from Haruna and Yuko is quite difficult to steal from, since Haruna is capable of odd things or powers. Yuko is full of stealth and knows whats going on 24/7, so we have to set up very complicated and complex plans for when we plan to steal. If we eat the computer generated food, we risk of getting poisoned by the people who created this world. I sat quietly staring at nothing but a grey wall, it was the only thing interesting at the moment, Paruru was off somewhere unknown, she hadn’t bothered to tell me, so I was alone. My body suddenly picked up a presence that wasn’t comforting.

I spun around only to find nothing behind me, this isn’t right.

I gripped the gun attached to my side as I glared around at the building trying to figure out this jigsaw puzzle. “ssh!” was all my ears picked up before a hand wrapped around my mouth, my body suddenly began to shake in this helpless position because my weapon was trapped in someone else’s grasp. I then found my self a black image, I was knocked out with out even knowing it, I grew drowsy. 

after what felt like 2 minute break, I woke up in a well lit up place, wait…. what just happened? The confusion created inside me ruled over me vigorously, concoct with fear as my eyes widened, making me flail rapidly, but I couldn’t move do to my strapped body, I was sitting in a small wooden chair that was splintery rough. 

I was scared…..Paruru, help.
