"No." she spoke, the word he hoped she wouldn't say escaped her pink cherry lips. Although he had prepared himself for this, again and again over the last hour, he couldn't deny the feeling of his heart falling when the words of rejection left her lips. 

"Raena. This decision is final, no matter what you say, this marriage is still going to go on. We are not asking for your approval but rather, this meeting is only to inform you." Mrs. Choi reprimanded her daughter who just reached of legal age just a week ago. Jongup froze as he stared into her eyes, as though pleading him to safe her from this marriage. Yet he was powerless in this decision, he was as powerless as the girl before him.

Raena dropped her eyes from the man before him, he was someone she recognized from school. Famed for his dancing yet he was never seen talking to many people outside his circle of friends. She never had the chance to talk to him throughout the two years in the school, yet his quiet demeanor intrigued her. She knew however from what she's seen herself that the man before her was a person with an amazing personality. 

"I'm heading up to my room," Raena said as she stood up, excusing herself before walking upstairs. Jongup watched her as she disappeared into the distance. A sigh escaped his lips as he looked at his fingers which were on his lap. 'Its a one-sided love, huh?' He thought bitterly.
