I like you [GOT7]
Yugyeom felt the moisture between his hands grew with each moment that he lingered in the mirrored room. He watched her back as the other members of the club filtered out of the room. It was apparent that they were absolutely worn out but the smile on their faces never faded as they left the school. Her name was Baek Hyunju, a member of the school's dance club. She however wasn't just any member, but the club's official dance instructor as well as choreographer. She held one of the highest position in the club yet she had never performed in the school before. Her father was the school's chairman and if there was one thing he was against, it was dance. She joined the school's dance club without his knowledge and never ever got to perform at school events because of this.
To say that she was admired by the club would be an understatement. It was almost similar to being worshipped by the members of the club for her dance skills yet every time they would praise and encourage her to join them in the stage, she would deny it with everything she had. Her position as a choreographer as well as a dance instructor has been maintained for multiple years in this school. This school wasn't your average high school. It was a school where students would enter the school from elementary level and graduate at high school level. Hyunju had gained this position as a dance instructor by her second year of middle school and the choreographer the year after.
Yugyeom eyed her every movement, biting down on his bottom lip in anxiety as he thought over the plan he had for today. He watched as she picked up her bag and was about to leave. His eyes widened in realization. He wasn't going to let this opportunity slip away like this. He wasn't going to allow his plan to wither away after countless of sleepless night had gone by.
He quickly grabbed his bag and jogged towards her. He grabbed her wrist to stop her. "Wait, Hyunju." The girl stopped in her steps. She rolled her eye in annoyance as she whirled her head around.
"What do you want?" She asked coldly as she shrugged his hand off. Yugyeom felt as if a million needles had pricked his heart. The tone she used on him saddens him. It meant how much hatred she had for him and he knew, it would only make it harder for his plan to work out.
He tried to console his own feelings by telling himself that it was only her normal behavior towards him. Her normal tone. She hated him greatly. I mean who would not? He had always for her small height, along with his group of friends, who called themselves, GOT7. It would only be normal if the girl hates you, am I not correct? Yugyeom wanted to sigh so badly with all these troubles going through his mind.
"Look," Hyunju started. With only that voice of hers, it made his heart race even more. "I'm a busy person and if you don't open that mouth of yours to let out some words, I'm going to leave now."
A sigh finally escaped his lips. 'Well, here goes nothing,' he thought.
"Hey, shorty," JB smirked as he leaned down to meet Hyunju's eyes. The girl rolled her eyes. "Go away." The phrase she said everyday slipped through her lips yet again.. She absolutely loathed how they always .
Does being short mean that they could pick on her? No, she couldn't control how tall she could grow either, it was genes. Genes. She didn't understand why they always did this to her. They always took any and every opportunity to . And especially what was happening to her right now. Getting made fun of in the middle of the hallway with the GOT7 boys surrounding her and everyone was watching the usual morning scene.
The smirk on JB's face grew even wider. "Why should I?" He asked raising a brow. Hyunju blew on her bangs in annoyance. "Suit yourself." She turned around, wanting to escape, or rather, get away, from them only to bump into a broad chest. "Hey," Mark smiled down at her and pat her head. Her eyes widened in shock as she stepped back.
She sighed, holding in her anger. She just wanted to get away from them. "Don't block my way." She spat and Mark immediately made way for her. She huffed before walking off but Jackson stopped her by wrapping his fingers around her thin wrist.
"Aw. Don't leave us yet, babe. We haven't even started our fun." He pouted. Anger pulsed through Hyunju's veins. "First of all, let me go," she said through gritted teeth. Jackson immediately held his hands up in defeat. "Secondly, don't 'babe' me cause I'm not going out with any one of you or neither am I close to you...things." She shot him a glare. "And thirdly, you guys already had your fun for the past years, am I not right?" Hyunju smirked before walking off like nothing ever happened.
GOT7 stood there, stunted. "Did she just..." Mark started but JR cut him off. "Yes she did, Mark." "Yes, she just walked away from us," YoungJae said, being very amused by her behavior. Yugyeom could only raised his brow, greatly amused by Hyunju. BamBam pressed his lips into a thin line before a smirk slipped up his face. "Well, we can't just let her go this easily, right?"
With that, with his hands in his pockets, he walked towards their classroom before the bell rang. "Of course we're not gonna do that," JB simply said.
Everyone was in sync. Not only their dance moves were, their pants and breaths were too. They were dead tired but had to it up and carry on. They have an up-coming competition to compete for and giving up right now wouldn't be idea.
Hyunju panted hard but continued dancing. Putting great power and energy into her every movement, making her movements look sharper than ever. As tired as she was, she continued putting all her strength into her movements, her dancing. Dancing was her passion.
Her dream was to become a dancer and she was never going to give up on that. 'Perseverance' was in her dictionary and 'giving up' was not. She was most absolutely glad when she received notifications about their upcoming competition as it meant she finally could perform to her hearts will without worrying about her father's approval.
They were near the of their dance when they music suddenly stopped. Hyunju whirled around, wanting to explode at whoever had stopped the music, but when she saw that it was the teacher-in-charge, she kept her anger in. She didn't even know that her teacher had walked into the dance room. Maybe she was just too engrossed in her dancing.
Everyone bowed in sync to the teacher. "Sit down. I don't want you guys to pass out from exhaustion. Take a rest, don't overwork yourselves too much," Mrs. Jung said and everyone obeyed.
"I wanted you guys to meet your new member. Please be kind on him and although he would not be joining all of you in the competition, I hope you would teach him the moves. Come on in."
The door slowly opened to see a boy standing there. Girls squealed when they saw who it was while the boys? They rolled their eyes. Hyunju's jaws dropped. 'What is he doing here?!'
"Hi, I'm Kim Yugyeom. Please take care of me!" He said, flashing everyone a smile. He glanced around, looking at everyone closely but his eyes stopped at that certain person. Hyunju watched as his eyes settled on her before they widened in shock. The girl rolled her eyes and stood up.
"Let's continue," She said and walked over to play the music. Everyone immediately turned serious when they music was on. Their gaze turned from playful to serious.
Yugyeom watched Hyunju danced with shock. He didn't know that she could dance. He didn't know she was even in the dance club.
Hours later, everyone was done with practice. Yugyeom, himself, had learned some moves too. They were all tired out but still had smiles on their face. "Yeah. See you tomorrow, Taemin." Hyunju said. Yugyeom turned around, shocked. He never heard her sounding so...cheerful. He always and only heard just words coming out of . Emotionless— it was wh
