Chapter 13
The ChoiceXIII
"Good morning”
“Good morning to you too, grandpa,” I smiled at him as I entered the kitchen.
He's stirring a cup of coffee at the counter.
“Why are you up so early?” He asked after taking a sip in his cup.
“Grandpa, did you forget I'm in high school? Of course I have to. I have classes,” I answered.
“Did you forget you got hurt yesterday? You should stay here and get some rest,” He retorted.
“I'm fine grandpa. I had enough rest”
I poured fresh milk on my mug.
“But-”
“Really. Grandpa. I'm fine,” I smiled, reassuring him.
He nodded in defeat.
“Oh Chansoo-yah good morning”
I froze and hesitated to turn around and look at the door way.
“Morning,” I heard him answer lifelessly.
I gripped my mug, debating inside my head whether I should talk to him or not. I heard a rattling in the refrigerator and I slowly turned around. His back facing me and I gulped.
Is he mad at me?
Grandpa winked at me as he went out the door. My eyes widened in disbelief. Really, grandpa? Can you be more teasing? I shook my head.
Taehyung closed the fridge and went for a mug, not even recognizing my presence.
What am I? An invisible woman?
“Ehem,” I faked a cough as I took a seat. I really did'nt mean to hurt him that much. All I wanted for him is to make a distance from me and stop confusing me with his actions especially when we're at school.
He poured milk on his mug and didn't even spared me glance.
Booya?
“G-gg-good morning,” I hesitated.
“Hmm,” He hummed while taking a sip at his milk and then went for the door.
I gawked at him.
“Yah!!!” I shouted furiously inside my head.
As I entered the school, I noticed a bunch of girls gathered around the entrance.
When there's a clump of girls, there must be Taehyung. I rolled my eyes and headed for the back door, avoiding the crowd.
I entered my classroom and took my usual seat. Surprisingly, the missies are'nt sending daggers at me today. They're too busy talking about something they obviously dislike. Fortu
