Ji eun POV

Help me with my life? How is he supposed to do that when the person I love the most is now gone...

"Ji eun! Where were you! I was so worried!" I heard my mom as she hugged me

"Sorry, I just wanted to get some fresh air..." I told her

"The docter said that there are a pair of eyes you could use." She told me

"When..." I hesitated

"When is the surgery?" I finally asked

"Four days from now." She said

Four days... The moment when I can finally see, I won't be able to see him anymore.

"Mom, I don't think I want the surgery." I told her

"W-What do you mean? You don't want to be able to see?" She asked confused

"I... I just have no reason to anymore, so it would be a waste of your money." I told her

"Is it because of him?!" She asked

"Yes." I replied

"Why?! Why are you still clinging onto him?!" She yelled

"Excuse me Ma'am, but let me introduce myself. My name is Oh Sehun. And I would like to talk to you about this matter."

"Oh Sehun?! You mean THE Oh Sehun from one of the largest companies is the world?!" My mother sounded suprised

"Yes, I think I can make Ji eun change her mind about the surgery." He said with a overly confident voice

"You won't!" I interrupted the conversation

"Ji eun, mind your manners." I mom scolded

"Lee Ji eun, I promise. I'll make you change your mind." He whispered in my ear

"Stay away from me!" I yelled

"I'm sorry for my daughter's rude behavior." My mom said

"No, need to. May I have your adress?" He asked

"I'll write it down for you." My mom said

"There's no need to. You won't be able to change my mind." I said

"You never know unless you try." He said

"Here you go." My mom said

"Thank you. I'll see you tomorrow Lee Ji eun." He said

Why is he so caught up in my business anyways! No matter what, I won't take the surgery. If Jongin isn't here, then... I have no reason to. I don't want to see a world without him. I don't even want to live in a world without him... Why? Why did you have to go on and die?! I... Without you... I feel so empty and hollow. I can't enjoy life anymore.

Sehun POV

Lee Ji eun... I wonder who she lost that made her do something so crazy. Love is just something pathetic anyways. You don't need love when it comes to singing. They say you need to express feelings when singing. But I don't think it's necessary. It'll just get in your way. And hold you down.

I never had that many friends anyways. Only a few... Because... They were truly sincere. They didn't care that I was rich. They saw me for who I was. And we all had the same dream.  A dream to be a singer. A dream to express OUR friendship. Not love for a girl or boy. But our friendship and bond. 

This girl I don't know why, but something about her interest me...

Jongin POV

Every day all I seem to be able to think about is Ji eun. And how I should've never let her go. I think about our promise. Of how I would sing for her. Of the day she would finally be able to see me. Whenever I think about her I seem to cry. I feel so pathetic... I think of her gentle smile, her sweet laugh and her touch. I loved her so much that it hurts to think about it right now.

I'll become a singer... I'll fufil our promise Ji eun. I'll become a singer. And when that day comes. Is the day when I can finally let go of this world and maybe be able to see you.

Ji eun POV

"Ji eun! Wake up!" I heard my mom shout

"What is it?" I asked

"He's here!"

"Who?" I asked

"Oh Sehun. He's here to pick you up for a date." My mom said with excitement in her voice

"No way!" I said

"Come on, get up it's already one in the afternoon! Let me get you ready!" She said and pulled my arm

I couldn't sleep at all yesterday... She put on my clothes and brushed my hair.

"You look so pretty!" She squeeled

Did I really look pretty? I can't even get dressed by myself...

"Sorry it took so long. Well here she is." My mom said

"Mom, can you give me my cane?" I asked

"Sure, where-"

"There will be no need to. I will be able to lead her." Sehun said

"There's no need for you to do that. Give me my cane mom." I said

"You don't need it. This young boy will lead you, I'll see you later." She said

"Goodbye. I'll drop her off later." He said and held my hand

"Let go of me!" I tried to break free from his grip

"Why? You don't like it?" He asked

"Ofcourse I don't like it!"

"But I have to. Or else you might hurt yourself" He said

"I..." I didn't know what to say

"Stop being so stubborn and just let me hold your hand." He said and continued to walk

I didn't know what to do. It feels strange being with someone that's not Jongin.

While I was thinking, suddenly someone lifted me up

"Yah!" I shouted

"Be quiet, I'm putting you in the car" Sehun said and put me down

"Where are we going?" I asked

"You make it sound as if I'm kidnapping you." He said and sat next to me

"I just want to know where we're going." I told him

"Just stop asking and wait till we get there." He said

It was silent for a long time. Where is this guys gonna take me?  

"So, tell me a little bit about yourself." He said

"What do you want to know about me anyways?" I asked

"Like... I don't know. Do you have a dream or a goal?" He asked

A dream and goal... My dream was to be able to see Jongin shine one day...

"I HAD a dream..." I said

"You had one?" 

"Yes, but now it can never be completed..." I said as tears slowly dripped down onto my lap

"We're here." He said and took my hand

"Where are we?" I asked

"Guess." He said

I smelled the air. It was salty... The beach?

"The beach..." I muttered

"Correct! Now I may not know anything about your past. But let me tell you about my dream. My dream is to become a singer that shines brighter than anyone else." He said

"Come on let's walk around" He said and pulled me along with him

Jongin... He reminds me of Jongin... I want to know more about this guy, I want to learn more about him.

And this was the end of day one...

Sorry for not updating sooner!!! I promise I'll update it at least once before Christmas!
