Ji eun POV

it's been almost been year since me and Jongin have been going out now, tomorrow will be officially a year anniversary. And I'm still blind. My family is still the same. Arguing a lot, and never really getting along. My mom doesn't seem to like Jongin either. But I can't live without him. I can't imagine a world without him.

I took a stroll to the park because I knew that Jongin would be there. While walking someone backhugged me. I already knew who it was.

"Jongin, what are you doing?" I asked

"Aww, so you already knew it was me? That's no fun." He said in a pouting voice

I chuckled and said, "It's because you're the only that would do such a thing." 

"Well ofcourse. I'm your boyfriend after all." He said

"Right... It's been almost a  year now." I said

"Yeah, tomorrow." He said and we both sat down on a bench

"I got a gift for you." I told him

"Really?! You didn't have to." He said

"It's fine. Besides you're always there for me." I held his hand

"I got you a gift too. But I'll give it to you tomorrow." He said

"What is it?" I asked curious

"It's a secret." He laughed

"Fine then." I pouted

"Haha, don't be mad. But, it's not the best gift." He said

"It doesn't need to be the best gift. If it's from you, then it's already the best gift." I told him

Jongin walked me back home. I heard some clattering and something breaking.

"Ji eun!" I heard my mom shout

I felt someone grab me by the arm. 

"Is this your daughter? The one that's blind?" I heard a male voice ask

"Stop! Don't touch her!" My mom yelled

"Hmph! Since your dear husband is dead. YOU have to pay the debt he owes us." The man said and pushed me away

"Ji eun!" My mom hugged me

"We're giving you a week to pay off the debt. Or else I'll kill you and your daughter." He threatened

I heard my mom crying and felt her wet tears on my neck.

"Mom... Is dad dead?" I asked

There was only silence. Finally my mom spoke up.

"Ji eun, we're going to run away." My mom spoke

"Run away? Where?" I asked

"To the U.S" She said

"Wait, I can't leave Jongin here." I told her

"We have no other choice." She said and pulled me up

"Can I see him one more time at least." I begged

"Fine, make it quick. We have to leave before tomorrow." She said

I walked to the park. 

"Ji eun! What are you doing here? Why aren't you at home?" He asked

"I... I came to see you." I cried

"Why are you crying? What's wrong?" He asked me

"I'm sorry... I'm gonna be leaving you." I told him

"Leave? Where? And why?" He asked

"My dad left us debts and so we're running away. And, tomorrow I won't see you anymore." I cried even more

There was silence once again. 

"I'm sorry Jongin... But I guess this is goodbye." I told him

"Here." He handed something in my hand

"What is it?" I asked

"It's my number, so that we can contact eachother." He said

"Jongin..."

"Just... Call me once in a while." He said and hugged me

I cried and hugged him. We stayed like that for a long time. I didn't want to let go of him. I couldn't let go of him. He brought so many things into my life. He gave me a reason to live. I couldn't just lose it all right now! I..I, Love him so much

"Jongin.. I love you so much! I love you!" I cried

"I love you too." He said

"I'll always love you." He said to me

"I will too." I said

"I'll wait for you Ji eun. No matter what, I'll wait for you." He said

"I'll come back Jongin. Please remember our promise." I said

And then, we kissed. I could feel his tears as we kissed... We both bid goodbye... 

"In the end I couldn't give you your gift." I said holding a couple necklace of a silver guitar pick

We reached the airport and after a while, me and my mom boarded the plane...

Jongin... Will I ever be able to see you again? Can I be happy even though you are not with me? 

Jongin... Please remeber our promise, and please don't forget about me

Jongin POV

She left... I never got to give her, her gift... I held onto the bracelet that had wings on them, meaning that she can soar higher than anyone even though she has disadvantages.

I hope she calls me once in a while at least. Or at the very least, I hope she doesn't forget about me...
