Ji eun POV

It's been a month since me and Jongin have been seperated. But we call eachother often. I would tell my mom to call him for me. She keeps telling me to let go of him and that he will only be trouble. But I beg her to do it. Almost every night he would sing to me before I go to sleep. I at least get to hear his voice even though I am not physicaly with him or even though I can't touch him. Just knowing that we have the same feelings towards eachother is more than enough.

Jongin POV

It's sad knowing I can't be with her and that I can't touch her. At least she's safe over there. That's all I wish for right now. That she's safe there. She's always telling me that she can't leave the house because her mom forbids her to. And that the U.S. is really different than Korea. It's a shame I can't hold her hand and walk with her anymore.

Ever since Ji eun has left Krystal has been more happy now a days. It's kind of annoying and irritating. But I try not to think so much about it. I just hope that no other guy tries to make a move on her...

Ji eun POV

Another month flew by and Jongin told me that he just passed the auditions to S.M. Entertainment. I was so happy for him. You have no idea how hard it is to not be able to celebrate this moment with him... All I can say is congratulations...

(Another month later)

 Jongin hasn't been answering my calls for a while. Maybe he's busy practicing lately. My mother called Jongin for me and gave me the phone then she left. I waited for him to pick up, but then I heard a woman's voice.

"Who's this?" I asked

"Krystal." I froze at the name

"Is Jongin there?" I asked

"Oh... So you don't know, ofcourse you wouldn't..." She said in a sad voice

"Don't know what?" I asked

"Jongin... He passed away." She said

"He... He died?!"

"He got into a car accident and the bleeding wouldn't stop. He... He didn't make it." I heard Krystal softly cry

It was silent for a very long time...

"When did this happen?" I asked

"Just three days ago."

Three days ago... Is that why he hasn't been picking up... Because he's dead?!

"B-Bye!" I hung up and then sobbed in my room.

Jongin... How can this be?! You promised me! You said you would Shine brightly for me... You.. Why did you have to leave me... I thought we were going to be together forever...

Krystal's POV

Hah! Jongin-oppa is far from dead! Such a naive and gullible girl! This will for sure keep her from calling my Jongin oppa. My acting was perfect.

"Krystal? Have you seen my phone?" I was startled from Jongin oppa coming into his room

"Ah! Here it is." I handed him the phone

"Why are you crying?" He asked

"Oh, umm... Well you see Ji eun called, and she told me something really funny and so I laughed so much I cried." I lied to him

"Crap Ji eun called?! I finally recieve a call from her after a few days and I miss it! I have to call her back." He started to dial the number

"Wait! No! She told me that you can't call her today. She said she's really bust today." I lied again

"Oh... With what?" He asked

"She... Uh... She's going to the hospital is what she told me." I told him

"Oh, well thanks for telling me." He smiled and left

I wonder if he would be mad if I told him that the reason why he hasn't gotten a call from her is because whenever she calls I reject them... And that I lied to her that he was dead...

Ji eun's mom POV

 Ji eun didn't eat dinner last night. Or breakfast this morning. I wonder what's wrong... Did that boy do something to her?!I heard light noises from Ji eun's room.  I walked in there and saw her crying while sitting in her bed.

"Ji eun! What's wrong?!" I asked

"It's... Jongin... He... He" She tried to speak

That's enough! I've had enough of that kid! This time for sure I'm gonna make sure that he will never talk or see Ji eun ever again! I called that Jongin guy.

"Hello?" A female voice answered

"Who's this?" I asked

"Krystal." She answered

"Listen I don't know who you are. But please give this message to Jongin. Tell him that Ji eun has passed away. She was hit by a car and died." I said and hung up

I felt a pang in my chest. I felt guilty I was doing this. But this is the only way... I hope you can leave that kid Ji eun and move on... Because to him, you're now dead...

Jongin POV

"Oppa! Oppa! I have something important to tell you!" Krystal shouted

"What is it?" I asked

"Ji eun... She..." She hesitated

"What about Ji eun?" I asked

"Ji eun is... She died..."

It's like time just stopped. It was silent...

"You must be kidding right? There's no way! There's just no way!" I shouted

"Jongin-oppa! It's true. her mom just contacted me." She said

"How can this be..." I knelt on the ground

Didn't we make a promise... Weren't we gonna be together forever? Wasn't I gonna become a singer for you?! Tears rolled down my cheeks. If only... If only I had gone with her. Or if only I had stopped her...

"Aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" I sobbed

Ji eun POV

I always cried... There was no point in living anymore... I won't be able to meet him anymore. I won't be able to hear his voice anymore. There's just no point in life for me anymore.

My mom took me to a hospital. She said she wanted me to get surgery for my eyes no matter how much it cost. She told me to stay still and not wonder off. But I did anyways

I walked around and decided to just go kill myself. I mind as well... Even if I can finally see. What's the point of seeing if I can't see his face anymore. I'll just be empty...

I bumped into someone while walking around.

"Hey! Watch where you're going!" The man yelled

"Sorry." I apologized

"Oh... You're blind?" He asked

"Yes." I replied

"Where are you going? It's not safe for you to be wondering around." He said

"Can you take me to the rooftop?" I asked

"Huh? Why?" He asked

"Please, it's my last wish." I told him

"Sure..." He said and took hold of my hand

"We have arrived." He said

"Thanks." I said

I guess I'll just keep walking until I find the edge... And then jump off.

"Hey! Where are you going!" He shouted

"To go die." I muttered under my breath

"Wait! Stop!" He yelled and grabbed my arm

"Don't stop me!" I shouted as tears escaped from my eyes

"Why are you doing this?" He asked as he held onto me

"Because there's no point in living anymore! He's gone! He's never gonna come back! I'm never going to be with him again!" I sobbed

"So you're willing to die because you can't be with someone anymore?!" He asked

"That's right! He was my life! He changed my life!" I said to him

"Is this what he would've wanted?!" She shouted and I stopped all my movements

Is this what he would have wanted... But I can't live without him...

"Are you going to just waste your life because of someone? I don't think this person would want that." He said

I fell onto the ground and cried. Jongin... I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! I'm gonna continue living...

"It's ok..." The man said and patted me

"May I ask what you're name is?" He asked

"Lee Ji eun." I told him

"Lee Ji eun... Nice to meet you. I'm Oh Sehun. And I'm gonna help you with your life."
