Luhan watched, waiting pensively for what Bomi would do next.

But all she did was wipe her face hastily and, as though she didn't have a worry in the world, smiled, "Woo hoo! Free food!"

Then the spell was broken and he was left wondering just what exactly she had been thinking the whole time.

Bomi was glad that Kai seemed to be in a really happy, talkative mood, or else Luhan's intense stares would have driven her crazy. Ever since they'd left the park he hadn't stopped casting her curious glances, as though trying to read her.

She didn't want to be read.

The truth was, and she was going to have to accept it, it didn't look like her crush on him was going away.

In fact, in what had to be the cruelest cosmic joke in the planet, the more she worked on Operation Chohan, the more her feelings for him grew. Suddenly she felt like blaming Kai and Sehun's horrible planning skills, and in a lame attempt at revenge, she stole one of Kai's pieces of meat, much to his protests.

"Noona! That's mine!"

"It's mine now," she stuck her tongue out at him, knowing she looked very immature. But heck, it wasn't like she was trying to impress Luhan or anything.

"Here, if you're so hungry..." she blinked as she watched Luhan drop a few pieces of his meat into her bowl.

She opened to say a whole bunch of things, but decided on the safest, "Thank you, I'm starving."

And she just let them talk while she ate.

But the masochistic side of her kept looking up once in awhile and her eyes locked with Luhan's before either of them quickly turned away.

Still... she had to remind herself that this had happened hundreds of times in high school and while initially she thought it may have been mutual interest-- it turned out to be nothing but fondness and friendship (not that there was anything wrong with that).

To get her hopes up again now would make her the biggest fool in the planet.

So when they left Kai to go home and he was trying to bring up the past, she wouldn't let him.

"I didn't realise just how much of my high school life included you," he commented.

"Yeah, I guess so." Don't say anymore, please!

"Bomi... What were you thinking about during that last shot?"

She laughed awkwardly, "Hey now, come on. You know that I can't give you my acting secrets."

"So you were acting?" he persisted.

She laughed again, but even to her it sounded fake and strained, "Of course! Why else would I have cried? Kai said to look sad didn't he? Aaaah, I feel relieved actually-- this means that if things don't work out as a dancer, I can become an actress!"

"I see," after that she got the silence she begged for. Only, she didn't realise it would be so cold.

It only got worse the next day.

Bomi was called to meet up with Kai and Sehun, and much to her shock, she saw Suho sitting across from the pair.

"Suho-ah, what are you doing here?"

"Bomi-ah," he drawled her name, "I don't know. The two of them just called me here."

Bomi slid into the booth next to him and had a premonition that this wasn't going to end well.

"Hyung," Sehun started, "We have a confession to make."

"What did you do?" Suho asked with a groan.

"The three of us have been working on a way to get Luhan-hyung and Chorong-ah back together. But we thought you wouldn't approve so we didn't include you. But we've failed a couple of times already, so Kai and I decided we needed more help."

Bomi felt Suho tense next to her, and unexpectedly she reached over and touched him lightly on his forearm under the table.

To Kai and Sehun she glared, "Ya! You two, can't we stop now? Obviously it's not working. There's no need to involve Suho cause we're putting a stop to this. NOW."

"Oh come on noona, one more go!!!" Sehun pleaded.

"No!"

"Come on, once you hear our plan, you're going to love it-- it's fool proof!"

"That's what you said about the last ten!"

"There'
