The first encounter
Dream“Yong Junhyung!”
I could feel my heart racing. My palms began to sweat. I hesitantly stood up and walked toward my boss.
“What is this? What kind of work is this? How many times must I tell you? I…this Company can’t accept such mistakes. Do it again or you’ll be FIRED!”
Sixth. This is the sixth time that I got scolded by my boss. I could just feel the stare. All eyes on me. Junhyung. What a way to attract attention to yourself. I walked as fast as possible to my desk, ignoring all my colleagues. As soon as I reached my desk, I quickly hid myself and duck as low as possible.
“Hey, you alright?”
I looked up and saw Doojoon looking at me with concern.
“I’m ok. Nothing to worry about. happens”
Doojoon continued to stare at me and after what seemed like minutes he turned around to walk back to his desk.
Sighing, I quickly began work. I have only worked here for a month but I’m already feeling miserable. I hate it here. Heck, I hate it so much. However, everyday without fail I’ll still force myself to wake up at 6. Take the long journey by bus to work. Why? Because this is the only place that offers me a job. I admit. I’m not smart. I didn’t ace in school nor in college. I barely passed. So I guess this is what I deserve. My parents divorced when I was young and I had been surviving all on my own. Who needs adults? They made my life so complicated and full of hatred.
By the time I finished the report, it was close to 7. Doojoon left much earlier. He said he had a date with Yoseob. I do envy Doojoon.Alot. I mean, he’s smart. The boss just ADORES him. He’s a lady’s man. Ladies just squeal when he walks by. The thing is that they didn’t know he already has a boyfriend. Oh well, life is unfair anyway.
I quickly packed my stuff and began my long journey back home.
*****************************
I was running up the hill. I could feel a gust of wind passing by me. Cool breezy wind grazed by my face. I stared at my feet. Blue flowers. There were blue flowers all around me. Blaue Blume. My favourite. I continued running up the hill. After running for miles I finally stood at the peak. The sun was just about to set. I continued to stare as the sight of the sun began to diminish. All of the sudden, from the corner of my eyes I could see...a guy? I turned to my right and sure enough, there was indeed a guy sitting all alone. His eyes. He has such mesmerizing eyes. Breathe-taking. That was the only word my brain could comp
