Two.
Never Knew I Needed
“Seol Han Na.” Sehun calls out and she snaps out of her thoughts
“Yes?” she answers rather quickly in surprise and looks at him
“Are you done?” he refers to her meal
She stares at her meal which is almost untouched “Yes.” she says quietly
Sehun nods at the maid and she takes the plates away “Are you okay?” he asks again
Han Na looks at him and then to her empty side of the table and stands up; yes, she might just despise him. She didn’t hesitate as she walks away from the dining hall to leave Sehun alone. The two had started to live together exactly on the same day they were engaged and they owned the villa all to themselves as it is bought with their parents’ money.
“Mum.” she called out with her fist clenched tightly
“Yes?” Mrs.Seol spun around
“I can’t live with someone I don’t know.”
“Nonsense, you two knew each other already.”
“We’re no better than strangers.” Han Na denied
“Then isn’t it a wise choice for us to let the two of you live together until you’re married?”
“Mum, I’m 17.” she was trying to go against their decision by calmly stating her opinion
“Then be grateful you’re saved from millions of wrong boys for you.” and when her mother turned her back on Han Na; she knew there was nothing to change their mind
The two were sent to their new villa together and the air was tense as none of them spoke and Han Na seemed bothered. Sehun stared away outside the window but he wasn’t angry nor was he happy; he was unreadable. Once they arrived at the villa, the large doors opened and they were greeted by their maids, the two declined the request to be shown around the place and Han Na wanted to excuse herself to her given room which her parents had already transferred most of her clothing to and Sehun followed suit.
“Han Na-sshi.” Sehun called to her and she stopped too immediately “I’m Oh Se Hun.”
“I know who you are.” she said
“Since we’ll be living together, I think it’s important for me to introduce myself.”
“Sehun-sshi, we’re not off to a good start no matter what you do.”
Sehun stayed quiet as they stared at each other “We’re engaged…”
“And that doesn’t mean I should act fairly towards you.” she said everything calmly as though it didn’t bother her but it did
