“I’m offering a trade.” she taps the letter in her hand

“Okay, what’s the letter?” he looks at her

“I’m not telling. We’ll trade blindly.”

He thinks it over whether he is going to benefit from it “Fine.” he nods and picks one of his letters

“Here.” she passes the letter to him and takes the other from his hand “Yes!” Han Na places the other letters into words “3 points for me!”

“I give up.” Sehun leans back

“You’re right. With the number of letters we’ve used; you don’t stand a chance against me.” she smirks “And for that, I win.”

“Yes, victory is yours my Queen.” Sehun did a bowing gesture

“Okay, come on, we had fun for the day; let’s study.” He smiles silently as he watches her which Han Na notices “What?”

“Don’t you get tired?”

“Tired?” she questions

“Of studying.” Sehun closes his eyes

Suddenly she turns quiet, she stares at the floor and thinks. Did she? Did she ever got tired of studying, is she tired of it now? She had never thought of such things before. Now when Sehun brought it up, it confuses her. She has gotten used to studying that it no longer seems like something of an activity; it seems more like a daily routine. Something that she has to do and must do.

“I don’t know.” she stares into the air “I never thought of it before.”

He smiles “It’s great that you try your best to learn but always remember; looking for knowledge and studying for knowledge are two different things.” he places a hand on top of her head

“Why do you do that?” she asks

“Do what?” he tilts his head

“You know, always placing your hand on top of my head.” she motions

“Oh that.” he chuckles “You see, it’s a way of my affection towards someone. When I do it like this, it’s like a gentle gesture of telling you something.” he smiles softly

Her cheeks grew warm over his words “Right. I see, well it does come out as a harmless gesture.” she lightly take his hand and places it back down

“Why, you don’t like it?”

“It’s not that, it’s just you know… Even though we’re engaged it’s just…” she pauses “I’m not sure.”

Sehun slowly pulls back and nods “I understand. Don’t worry about it.” he assures her with his smile

Seeing Sehun acting like that has made her realise that Sehun has never meant any harm towards her. His smiles are real, his words are gentle and his actions are always thoughtful. He is always careful of his words and gestures; afraid he might offend or hurt her in any way. He only wants her to accept him and always tries to make things easier and bearable for her. To think that such person of that pure heart treating her so delicately. Care for someone like her… She doesn’t deserve it at all. Though Han Na doesn’t know why, her heart grows warm with such thoughts.

The next morning, they head off to school as always and after a while it has become almost usual that the two would walk around together in the school’s hallways. Even if Han Na still doesn’t open up to others; she is willing to share her smiles and laughs
