Your POV: 

Minkyung played with Baekhyun and some of the guys while I sat on the couch and chatted with Kris and Joonmyeon.  A few minutes later, Baekhyun came and sat down next to me.  He threw an arm around my shoulder and smiled. 

"What do you want?" I asked.

"I just wanted to sit next to my best friend," he said.

"Baekhyun-" 

Before I could say any more, he started tickling my sides without warning. 

"Hey...  Stop it!" I exclaimed and tried pushing his hands away.  When he didn't stop, I  lightly slapped his arm.

Then he cried out, "Minkyung!  Auntie Areum hit me!"

Minkyung stopped what he was doing and stared at Baekhyun, then me.  He walked over and asked if Baekhyun was okay.  Then turned to me with his cute angry face. 

"Auntie, daddy says that hitting people is bad unless it's a stranger," Minkyung scolded me.

"I didn't hit him hard," I tried defending myself.

"You still can't hit."

"I'm sorry, Kyungie.  Auntie won't hit anymore."

"Say sorry to Uncle Baekhyun."

I looked up to Baekhyun and saw that he was giving me a mocking smirk.  I frowned and glared at him for making my own nephew turn on me.  Then when I looked around to the other guys, I noticed how they were all chuckling quietly and waiting for me to obey Minkyung and apologize to Baekhyun. 

"Well, what are you waiting for?  Apologize," Baekhyun said cracking the silence. 

I gritted my teeth.  "I'm sorry."

"For?" Baekhyun asked, continuing to smirk.

"For hitting you."

Then the guys finally bursted out laughing.  I sat back and pouted while Minkyung smiled and went back to playing with the other guys sitting on the ground.  Baekhyun put his arm around me again and smirked.  I pushed him away and turned back towards Kris and Joonmyeon, but he kept bothering me and poking my back.  I turned around and glared at him, and he just smiled innocently. 

"I think we'll head out now.  I think my sister-in-law should be coming back home soon," I said after checking the time and realizing that it was almost 4 pm.  Time surely passed us while we were talking and hanging out. 

"No!  Don't leave," Baekhyun begged. 

"Sorry, I would stay longer, but she might need my help."

"I don't want to leave!"  Minkyung pouted and crossed his arms. 

"We have to.  What if your mom needs help, Kyungie?"

"No!" he started to cry. 

"Shh.  Shh.  Don't cry," Jongdae cooed and wiped his tears away.

When I saw Jongdae do that, I suddenly felt something change in my heart.  He looked so fatherly and loving, and I couldn't look away.  Then without knowing, I was smiling like an idiot to myself. 

"I didn't even get to take you out yet," Baekhyun said, gaining my attention. 

"Next time," I told him. 

"I don't know when the 'next time' will be though."

"Well, it's not like I'm going away forever."

"Still..." he pouted.

"Come on, let's go, Minkyung."

He nodded his head sadly and walked over to me.  Then I held out my hand for him.  He took it and waved goodbye to all of the EXO members.  Joonmyeon walked us to the entrance and helped Minkyung put his shoes on, while I slipped mine on.  Then Jongdae came running to us.

"Here, let me drive you guys so you won't be so tired when you get home," he said.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Yeah."

"Try to get back before manager hyung gets back.  You know what will happen if you don't," Joonmyeon warned him.

"Yeah, I know.  I'll be back soon."

Joonmyeon sighed.  "I just don't want you to get in trouble." 

"Don't worry, hyung.  It'll be fine."

Finally, Joonmyeon nodded his head and then left to the living room.  I just stared at Jongdae as he stood there for a second and put his shoes on.  I wondered what their manager would do if Jongdae was late.  Then I started to get worried. 

"Jongdae... you don't have to drive us.  We'll take the bus this time," I insisted.

He looked up to me and smiled, "I can drop you guys off.  It's no big deal."

"But-."

"Don't worry about what Suho said.  It's fine."

He smiled and lead us out to the elevator without saying anything else.  Once he dropped us off, Minkyung and I waved goodbye to him and headed into the house.  Even after Jongdae left, I still worried about what his manager would do to Jongdae if he didn't make it back home in time.  I was soon distracted, though, by Eunsun when she asked me to help her cook. 

Jongdae's POV:

By the time I got home, my manager's car was already parked in the parking lot.  "Great," I muttered sarcastically.  Then I made my way back upstairs to our dorm and unlocked it.  When I entered, there was still chatting and laughter coming from the living room.  After I took my shoes off, I went to go see what all the noise was about and saw that Taeyeon was with the guys.  I greeted her really quick and then went to my room.  Inside my room, I found my manager sitting on my bed on his phone. 

"H-hyung," I said, surprised that he was waiting there. 

"Jongdae, where were you?" he asked sternly.

"Just out on a walk."

"Hm... you know I don't like you guys out by yourselves."

"I know.  But I really wanted some fresh air."

My manager started to lecture and scold me about what he expects and what we should and should not do, but I ended up ignoring him because I knew all of it already.  We've been lectured before about it.  All he says is that we're idols now and we have to watch our image and who we hang out with because things can be misunderstood and such.  I already knew all of that, but I don't really like it.  I also hated how the companies always expect us to hang out with others that are on the same social level as us. 

After my manager was finished lecturing me, he left to his room and I took a quick shower and changed.  I then went back out to the living room and the first thing that caught my eye was Taeyeon and Baekhyun kissing each other's cheek and getting all close and stuff.  Usually, I would've thought it was gross and yelled at them to get a room, but for some reason I wished to be like them.  I wished that it could be Areum and I. 

Soon it got dark and we finished eating dinner before getting ready for bed.  Everyone went to their rooms except for Chanyeol and I.  Usually Baekhyun would join us, too, but he was out on a midnight date with Taeyeon.  So, it was just the two of us that night.  

"That jerk's been ditching us lately," Chanyeol pouted.

"Yeah, but it's for his girlfriend.  Wouldn't you do the same if you were him?" I asked.

That made him stop whining and shut up.  I laughed at him and he just pouted even more.  Then I suddenly thought of Areum and if we were a real couple.  Unknowingly, a smile grew on my face and Chanyeol started looking at me weirdly.

"Are you okay, Jongdae?" he asked.

"Hmm?  Oh, yeah.  Why?" I replied. 

"It looks like you've got something on your mind."

I shook my head.

"Come on.  Tell me what you're thinking."

"It's nothing."

"I'm going to sleep then."

"Wait, don't go."

"Then tell me."

I sighed.  "Don't you dare tell anyone!"

"I promise."

"Okay... I think I'm falling in love."

"With who??"  He launched himself at me and was leaning half his body on my shoulder.

"Get off and I'll tell you."

"Sorry," he smiled and sat up straight.  "So, who?"

"Areum," I mumbled.

"What?  Speak clearly."

"Areum," I said, still a little unclear.

"Yah!  Jongdae do you want to die tonight?"

I laughed, "Sorry."

"Now tell me!"  He shook my shoulders.

"It's Areum," I finally blurted out nice and clear.

Chanyeol just stared at me with a shocked face.  "R-really?" he asked. 

I nodded my head to confirm.  Then he put his arm around me and started rambling on about something I wasn't paying attention to.  He seemed quite excited, but that's how he usually was anyway.  After a while, I finally pushed him off me and went to our bedroom.  Chanyeol followed after me soon and we both fell asleep in our beds.
