An Odd Request
Prediction of DestinyDreams.
They were supposed to be nightmares or the other way round. However, for Luhan, they were bitter sweet. It has been months since the announcement that causes his disappearance, running away from his lifetime responsibility. Being the person who is next in line, Luhan found it is quite absurd to ask for an odd request.
Find the person in my dream. Quite simple, isn’t it?
Surely peeking into a psychic’s window is not a great idea. Moreover, it was nerve wrecking as he now sit on the stool, right next to the red faced Oh Sehun.
“Name?”
“Why?” Sehun watched him, obviously annoyed by Luhan’s reluctance to answer.
“I need your name, so I can draw properly.”
“You’re not drawing my face, boy.”
Sehun sighed, biting his lips and rolled his eyes. “It would help a lot if only you cooperate.”
“I don’t take orders from a simpleton.”
“Oh, then you don’t need my help!” Sehun pushed piles of pencils and plain papers away, standing up right after that. “You can leave now, sir.”
“Well you!” Luhan gritted between his teeth, stomping his way towards the front door. “I’ll be back tomorrow.”
“Sure.” The clairvoyant piped before Luhan open the door. “Make sure you ring the doorbell. And oh, don’t peek on my window again!”
The blonde give him a smirk and replied, “Don’t worry. There’s nothing outrageous to see.” his eyes dart down to Sehun’s lower body, which the teenager immediately covered with his hands. “But I bet ladies will swoon over that– only if they have smaller hands.”
“Yeah, said from the most feminine man.” Sehun walk closer until he is inches away from the man. Considering Luhan’s lack in height— compared to Sehun, the younger lean down and whispered. “I can imagine you swooning over the size, seeing your tiny hands.”
Luhan pushed him away, earning a bursts of laughter from the taller man. “Tiny hands won’t determine Mr. Junior down here, okay?” he pointed to his crotch shamelessly.
Sehun still laughed, hands clenching his abdomen. He glanced at the blonde who sent him death glares. “Don’t judge people, Luhan.”
“H-How did you know my name?”
The younger straightened his body and gave him a smug look. “I’m a psychic, remember?”
Luhan nodded slightly, giving Sehun a judging look. “I’m impressed.”
“Of course. You should be super impress, Mr. Lu. A new transfer student in one of the local college here, taking Historic Arts as a main interest. Surprisingly a genius in the world of numbers, mysterious family background.”
The blonde clenched his jaw tight. Different things are running in his mind, and fears of his identity exposed. The main reason he run off from the city and into a small town is fully to hide. It was an act of escape, away from his boring routine life and responsibilities that he wished didn’t exist.
Looking at the suddenly pale faced man, Sehun continued, “And the dreams are coming to haunt you, isn’t it? I wish I could help you but–“
“Please.”
The taller cocked an eyebrow, waiting for the blonde to explain further. What’s so special about the guy in his dreams?
“It’s killing me. Do you know how ing disturbed am I?!” Sehun never thought the man to snap. He was pushy and persistent, maybe a little bossy but never did the teenager expect him to be short tempered.
It was out of the normal things Sehun did. Before, the thought of meddling in other people’s business never crossed his mind. But why does he felt like the blonde male slowly changed him to someone who cares?
Oh Sehun only cared for money— to save his own . Or he’ll suffer living on the streets. That’s basic human survival.
“Name the digits, I’ll give it to you.” Luhan finally said after the silence. Sehun felt like it was a deal made with a devil. He was sure that his power had limits. The man is asking for too much.
“I only draw people’s fated–“
“What if he appeared, b-because he was meant for me?!” Sehun swore Luhan is getting desperate.
“I think it’s better for you to leave now.”
With that, Sehun began to push Luhan out of his doorstep. The blonde reluctantly making his way out and when Sehun was about to close the doors, his fingers curled on the gap. The taller almost slammed the door hard, only to stop as he watched the blonde’s eyes.
They were begging. Begging for Oh Sehun to oblige to his silly request.
“I can’t promise you anything, Luhan.”
“It’s worth a try.” Something from Luhan’s expression made the taller give in. His eyes signifies those of a magnet, how the man draw him in, pulling him to obey to everything he want. And they were strong magnet for Sehun instantly attracted to it.
Next morning, Sehun put on his uniform and made himself a toasted bread. It was the usual routine thing he did in every school days. This morning was different though. He started to think that this ‘Luhan’ boy is the cause of it.
“Morning boy!” the blonde chirped. Sehun rolled his eyes by the nick name. He wouldn’t be ashamed to admit that their first encounter was rather embarrassing. He locked the front doors and walked past Luhan.
Persistent as he is, the blonde nudge Sehun, hands on the taller’s elbow. “Stop it, tiny hands.”
“Make me, tiny boy.”
The taller among the two sighed. The least he want now is to face this problematic man. “Don’t you have school to attend?”
“Free period.”
“Lucky son of a–“Sehun cleared his throat. “Correction, daughter of–“
Luhan slapped the back of his head, to which Sehun cringed by the blonde’s strong hit. “The with that?!”
“I have this condition. Oh maybe you don’t want to know–“
“That you’re a flat chested crazy girl?”
Luhan gave him a smug smile. “A girl with D’s bigger than yours.”
“Leave me alone, pretty face.”
Luhan shrugged and follow behind him. Sehun flinched when his hands are pulled back and turn to see that Luhan hooked his arms on him. The blonde smiled, brown orbs twinkling like puppies. From the expression, Luhan is begging again. Sehun let the man do whatever he wants.
“Ew. This school smells so… ordinary.” the blonde chimed, leaning closer. They were few feet away from Sehun’s school. Other students crowded in the entrance gates, and if Sehun aren’t quick enough he would be punished for being late. “Chill, coming early won’t make you any smarter.”
“Apparently, that’s how the school system worked.” Sehun smirked, which is the first turn of his lips for the morning. Though in denial, having a stranger tagging along is entirely not a bad thing. “Go to your nest, Luhan. I have a bright future to attend to.”
Surprisingly, Luhan loosened his hold and pulled back. He gave Sehun a sad smile, but tried hard to hide i
